That's not unusual. The Eagle was introduced in 76 and ATF was organized just five years later.

The F-22 went into service in 2005. That's eleven years ago. It's no surprise that they're looking into a replacement. They plan this shit ahead of time. A new fighter won't take the Raptor's place until 2030 at the earliest.

I guess I'll just upgrade by getting better parts instead. What is important for a fighter? I was thinking of increasing the pitch, roll and speed for the plane and homing + speed for the missiles. Or is there another recommended way with fighters?

Kind of. Levels 9 and 10 aren't really going to make a huge difference for the Hornet, but getting to 10 means you can start working towards 11 and all the way up to 15. At 11 and 12 the Hornet starts to get monstrous and by 15 you're pretty much the king of Aerospace unless someone brings a -Vent-.Or a -Cocoon-.Or any Rafale with some levels, really.Oh, and -Ridgeback-, you really have to watch out for those.

First day rankings move very fluidly as generally only one region has played their entire 6 fuels. Second day we start to see the rankings settle, and we just had Saturday night for the US region and Sunday morning for Japan. This is traditionally the period with the most fighting.

The few times I see tougher fighting is if there is a public holiday in Japan on Monday.

The Japs push hard on Saturday, Americans and Europeans follow them during the the few hours, Sunday starts, process repeats, the west gets their Sunday, and the Japs, having seen their ranking drop, grind hard because it's a public holiday.

You're always stuck with Ken for the first couple missions. There's one mission early on where you can pick either Ken or Ruth (not Jon because he fucked off somewhere, you can pick him later), from that point on you have your choice of pilots. As for planes, after debriefings Harry will tell you if he has new planes available.

Is that speculation? I'm still unsure about the fate of the AC0 trio. I mean, how high can you bring Cipher up before Morgan needs to be cst boosted?

And if you have Cipher higher than Pixy Morgan (which has been done before, a protag plane getting cost boosted to match or go beyond the final boss), you can't flavour-wise have Pixy Eagle higher cst than Pixy Morgan. Flavour-wise PJ could be justified as being higher than Pixy Eagle because he flew with Cipher to the end, but Pixy left halfway. And the fact that Pixy was a drop plane and PJ was top 200 makes it an even better incentive.

The fact both Pixy planes are drops complicate things, because I'm not sure they would want to boost them too much, although it would be a nice surprise to those who kept levelling them and using them even when they were at disadvantage compared to other ace planes (725cst is a threshold for SPW A2A damage if you stack damage, F-15C Pixy and Cipher are barely any faster than base Eagle, and only really past level 15)

Assuming the advancement of tech in WW2 Strangereal is the same as our world: Instead of dropping the seven nukes on their own towns at least one of the bombers would've made it to Ustio. The bombers always gets through and all that jazz. I don't think Galm would've been that influential either.

Try imaging the consequences of a nuke exploding on Ustio and none of them exploding on Belka (or at the very worst fizzling) by yourself, I'm too tired for that.

Not entirely sure, but from my trying to make sense of it.

Room Rank/MVP/Kills/Score are taken into account. Best I've had is 1400 pts for MVP and over average score (it was fluke, I was the only fighter @ Moscow 4P no bots) but do badly and S rank might only give 600, but an average S rank would be 1000.

It's a matter of attacking from the right angle and the right speed, if you can do that depending on the game the guns will either always miss (AC2, AC3 to some extent) or not shoot at all (most modern AC games).

What are those angles and speeds? I think the reason "cheesing" works is because the aa turrets turn and have a limited firing arc. Been looking really closely at ac04 lately, and i found if you bait an AA gun to look one way, fly out of its aggro range, and then come in from another angle, there will be a few moments before it fires. Of course, this is AC04 so i can't see the fuckers on the ground to confirm, but it even works with SAMs.

IIRC it's between 30 and 15 degrees and more than 650 km/h, it's of of those things I go at with "feel" rather than accurate measures. If you fly at a smaller angle or slower you'll get pumped full of lead, at least in AC2. The PS2 games are even more lenient, and AC3's AA guns are dicks and fire not only at you but in a ton of random directions as well, making so that if you fly too close and above to them you'll be very likely to get hit.

This doesn't seem too bad, despite the Nugget looking like a damn good plane, it is kind of short - the tournaments that lasts for weeks ought to be much worse.

I'm having a bit of difficulty because couldn't play everyday and I usually stay around 3k. The only tournament I've got in top 1000 was the first Experimental aircraft run, and mostly because I've burnt a lot of fuel to get idolplanes (about ALL my stocked, ~140) and was lucky to have a YF-23 and a STD as my main planes at decent levels.

Strangely enough the tournament has been feeling more balanced than the rest. I keep joining 2000MR lobbies that are usually occupied by people with +1900MR. I have rarely come across a clubbing room and all the rooms seem to fill up rather quick as well. I'm actually enjoying this.
