>About the game:
Skyforge is a very different kind of MMORPG, developed by Obsidian Entertainment and Allods. It's about immortals and gods in a sci-fi/fantasy futuristic world with heavy greco-roman influences.
>Become a god! Start your own religion! Be worshipped by thousands and have them erect statues and temples in your glory! Accept the vow of Adepts, who offer their very lives at your godly service!
No traditional "leveling system", instead there's a Prestige system, your godly power-level measurement, which unlocks new content. A fine breath of fresh air in a stagnant industry of copycats.
The combat is similar to Blade N Soul: not a traditional tab-target, but not quite real action like TERA/BDO.
There are open zones, solo/3/5 man instances, 10 man raids & PvP.
>NEW? READ THE CODEX! (Needs updating. When in doubt, ask.)
>Is this pay to win?
There's a weekly limit to how much you can grind; can't wallet warrior your way to glory, just to cap faster.
You can easily convert in-game cash into argents, and buy premium/cosmetics/etc with that. No need to spend $$.

nope, in fact it's growing everyday, it's going to end up being FFXI, there are good amount of people playing this but just not going to be as huge as WoW
the game feel so much like FFXI in 2004 when I am looking for an anomaly run group in the anomaly zone, feel just like lfg in the van dunes at lvl11 as war/mnk back then
my order is levelling up faster than my adepts, so missions are getting so difficult that failures are happening more and more often
failed missions still give followers, but no adept exp
Enlighten everyone as high as you can, which should be to purple. Use your myrrh to buy the difficulty-reducing order items. Use more templars rather than useless shits like healers.
I currently have 3 blue templar (4/3, 4/5 and 5/4) and one purple agent; I really feel like I need more agents than anything else. It's a shame everyone that applies to join is a fucking retarded 1/2 mystic or whatever. I just churn basically every applicant right out the door on missionary duties; +3 followers hurts me less than the autism of having the summary screen tell me some filthy plebs want to join my order.
How has the game changed from the first closed weekend betas? enjoyed the first betas and went turbo autist and grinded necro to realise the class was complete horseshit back then
is it worth getting back in now?
can you get your founders pack shit yet
Sure necro is still a fun class and mantinide summon is weirdly more stronger than muh carrion
if you take more than 30 min to finish a run, expect the reward to change, that's why I normally just leave the group if it took more than the average time stated on the instance, except for 10 man stuff cause those you can't help
if Destiny can make a bounce back like that after 2 years, I think there is still time for SF to do the same, seeing how obsidian is playing their cards right so far, I say the light is there
Too much shit that makes this game so unappealing to come back to as returning players.
Chapels aren't that bad since you'll eventually have plenty, but invasions are pretty brutal even with the scaling-up reward. Resistances are absolutely fucked up for anyone who takes even a slight break. And now Secret Knowledge is just as fucked. Oh, and influence. Are you fucking kidding me?
Who wants to come back to a game where every 8 hours they haven't played they're basically draining tens of thousands out of their credit cap needed to buy the shit that they'd need to catch up.
under that logic, TF2 should be deder than dodo, but it's not
and yet people are bending over for it
When I wake up, I look at the clock to see if I need to send adepts out or not. Because fuck missing a single secret knowledge set, or the energy modules, or...fucking hell. But yeah, once you fall off the train of "haven't missed one", it gets super hard to care about it again
I need about 2.000.000 credits to get the secret k needed for god of knowledge, is this worth it? I could spend that money on vector stats or save up for the next goy event...
but then: all classes are maxed so my evos are just sitting there forever
