>No Prince of Stride OP for the anime airing today
At least you tried
Zakuro is cute! Cute!
I finished Kobashi's 深愛 and 歪愛 good endings, I'll report back once I'm done with the other two. I thought they were interesting but I'm getting a little burnt out. It's so much to read. It might also be because I've been busy with other games and now that Binary Star is here it's tempting me.
Can I just say that it took me about half of the route to figure out that マリス was supposed to be malice
I'm thinking of importing my first Vita otoge soon. Any recommendations? I'm pretty abysmal at Japanese but I'm getting better. I was thinking of KLAP!! because I'm just so tempted by the gimmick. Money isn't really an issue right now since it's a treat to myself.
Seeing her get flustered is just as satisfying as the guys. Her blush sprites kill me.
So did delicious brown meet your expectations? Since Kobashi's route has the highest plot concentration the others might be easier on you now.
Apart from Hinose's. Hinose's is confusing as fuck. Don't expect to understand everything that's going on until the end(or even after the end).
>Can I just say that it took me about half of the route to figure out that マリス was supposed to be malice
Don't worry, you're not alone. It took me until my third route because in Kuze's and Mitsuhara's it comes up a lot less. I sure felt dumb.
Aren't they the person who translated the dot kareshi games and tokimemo gs3?
I liked those, the translation wasn't very awkward at all and I remember minimal errors.
Then again that probably means they took a lot of liberties. What's that saying again? You can either translate accurately or make it sound good, you can't do both?
A literal translation isn't necessarily something to strive for. You can try to translate something literally word for word, but you're going to end up with something that sounds unnatural, maybe even robotic, and thus most likely failing to convey the feeling of the original work. You can make a translation read well without going to the opposite extreme.
Not that I'm defending any of those particular TL projects, of course, just sayin'.
To be honest, I haven't played it that far yet.
But the main problem is the 'battle system'.
It's a rather frequent, about 10-20min lasting conversation with always the same background music. According to another anon, this lasts throughout the whole game.
Also, according to another anon, the characters become unlikable to the end because of their actions.
You could always read some reviews on Amazon if you want more impressions.
But you should get a Vita anyways, there are tons of good games on it, and the same artist is doing new art for Wand of Fortune R, which gets released on the Vita soon.
These fuckers don't really like to make money. They always have something going.
Because of this, they're basically screwing fans that actually care about their games. Now both fans and other consumers are more likely to postpone their purchase in wait for a sale and buy it once it’s dirt cheap.
If they continue this trend of having sales every month or so, eventually more people that are not the target market will impulsively purchase their games. Although a sale will lead to a wider audience, this may confuse the creators–if people actually like otome games at all and if they should even put the effort into localizing them when they can profit on localizing other games instead.
A sale means more money to them, sure, but constant sales creates a bad image for the company, not like it wasn't already. Well, do you guys actually care about Amnesia anyway?
D3P obviously needs the sale though.
Whats /blog/'s favorite route/character in an otome/BL ever and why is it your favorite?
What are the other two CDs? I know a few with children planning, but actually having little brats?
Isn't it a well known fact that honeybee's pretty strict with fan patches? I think that's also the reason why the group which translated In Spring stayed anonymous.
For better or worse, they'll probably still end up releasing BWS and KgK.
FakeDelinquents who are awkward and all shy around girls are the cutest.
Man, I wish I wasn't such an idiot at GUI design. That shit looks nice and crisp and I'd never think of anything like that in a million years.
And it's just a couple shapes with textures slapped on them.
No idea and it pisses me off because I know there's a word for it but I know if I try to google it I'll just pick the wrong words and get a bunch of wikipedia articles on camera shots.
But yeah, it is cool.
With some anon there being so negative it's difficult to know if a game deemed as shit is really shit or if it's just flawed but still enjoyable.
For example Norn9 is said to be bad and still I really liked it even with the convoluted plot...
That seems to be it. Pretty neat, Anon.
I wonder if they will ever include more of that or any other kind of motion and whatnot to the rest of the game. Do you guys like the gameplay as it is now or would you want it changed?
I don't know that I would fault Yumeiro's rhythm section. Honestly, it's nice to have one more simple.
I ahaven't enough games to really have a meaningful opinion.
But Okita was also my favorite in Hakuouki.
I liked Hijikata the least and I never tried the demon boy because he just felt like a big douche.
You can always check other sites if you have contradicting opinions or confusion as to whether our opinions are informative/meaningful to you.
I trust /blog/ more than other sites that may be biased.
As for Norn9, I think the story is bad, but the actual game itself can be enjoyable on some parts. That is not enough for me to recommend the game to someone though.
Okita really was so great.. I also really loved how Chizuru developed in the end too, I loved their dynamic. He also had the best central enemy imo since you never really got to know about Kaoru outside of Okitas route.
I feel you, Hijikata's felt the most like a chore to get through for me, though I liked seeing his more goofy side in the fandisks, and it made me like him a lot more. Chikages route really was short,
I'm also probably in the minority but I was actually hoping for him to kidnap Chizuru and force her to be his waifu. I was even expecting it while playing his route.
Touken Ranbu thread for those that don't check the catalog.
Yeah, Hakuoki was kinda one of my first otoge's, now that I know Otomate and Shinobu I know better.
Still would have been nice for him to actually kidnap her once, maybe for a fandisk scenario and the other guys come and rescue her or something other than the whole "I used you being my waifu as an excuse to play with the Shinsengumi" thing in his route.
there's a ton of R18 otoges where the husbando's rape the MC. If an r18 otoge has bad ends it's pretty much guaranteed rape will be involved at some point. Some I can remember off the top of my head with rape are Under The Moon and Trick or Alice
Pretty good. Great music, beautiful sprites, fun mechanic with the mero mero magic, lots of amazing guys to choose from.
CGs are a bit iffy at times and the story is not worth shit. But the majority of the game focuses on the boy and not the story so it's okay.
Play it for the guys, not the story.
So I've never played Hakuoki games before and bought one in a whim yesterday bc 3ds store sales. I don't know anything about the characters and of course the first dude that really get my dokis going is Shinpachi (well Heisuke too). Then I find out you cant have him. WHY.
Learn Japanese and then someday you can play his route in the remake.
Speaking of, it's kind of fucked up that Otomate didn't mention that the remake was split into parts and that they were going to release a second game after everyone played the first and realized that the routes ended in cliffhangers.
>PlayStation®Vita ソフト『喧嘩番長 乙女』
>変更前の発売日:2016 年 3 月 17 日 → 変更後の発売日:2016 年春
Otomate was always fucked up about Hakuouki. They released merchandising with Kazuki Yone's random sketches after she left the company. They milked this cow beyond repair, released unless spin offs and now this $$$$ decision about Shinkai.
Inspecting in any situation! What dedication.
If you're talking about Senri bullying, it's what made me dislike him. He doesn't even lie about being actual bullying when he's talking with Masamune, and in front of Koharu he's all "I just want to help him"
He's a jerk, don't care about his daddy issues.
>he doesn't know that pink is the worst
I answered already last thread, to sum it up: the matches are depicted poorly and the daily choosing of practice partner is a waste of time that makes going for each boy a drag, but while those factors bring down the game, it was still enjoyable for the cute/fun characters.
C:R is definitely worth picking up, especially if you're looking for a story title with a good heroine.
So far no. I've got a couple dupes that I use regularly because I got them early on and they're max level/stats so it'd be dumb not to use them, but beyond that dupes aren't very useful. My tactic lately has been to not redeem catalogues except for the cards I want immediately (since that inventory does not seem to be limited).
Very worth it, it's the localized otome that I enjoyed the most.
Happy Birthday to the guy who reminds me of Autism Yellow but not autistic, therefore better
I don't like Kakeru much but the one I really don't like is Sakuya.
Ouji and osananajimmi, effeminate, and yanderish.
So many bad points added to the fact he was trying to control Mikoto.
He's not that horrible, he just plays on trope I personnally hate.
Akito and Natsuhiko are the best routes for Nanami and Mikoto (through I still think Itsuki is the best husbando of the lot), Senri's is Koharu only good route, (well if I disregard the troll route of Masa turning into an harem master , it was kinda good).
>This is the OP
Every shot with a character in it is QUALITY.
Finished watching the episode, and damn, it hurts
>shota apparently only appears later
>more focus on Kakeru than in the game in his own route
>completely on Koharu's route
>Ron didn't even speak one line, poor Sugita was probably the only one not present at the recordings for the first episode
>Akito edgier than ever
>ship redesigned to be less comfy, even got a fucking elevator instead of the stairs
The thing that pissed me off the most is how much they focused on Kakeru. You know the 'common route' scene where Kakeru, Masamune and Senri are picking peaches together on one of the higher floors and then fall down (Senri jumps down).
They took that scene, let Masamune do some work in the background and Senri stay in his room, Koharu falls down in a way that looks like it hurts, and Kakeru jumps after her and saves her.
I didn't expect anything good from the anime, but this is worse than I imagined. I don't think I'll be able to suffer through more episodes, especially with that quality everywhere.
The trailers made it look like the anime would be mostly about Koharu on Kakeru's route, I'm not that surprised. It's just a bit underwhelming that they skipped some character introductions.
Akito is always kinda edgy until 3 chapters in or something.
The worst is that is a game CG, they just had to redraw it.
It was guaranteed to be shit anyway, considering the convoluted plot is no good for an adaptation.
I hope they'll do a better job with C:R like they did for Hakuouki. The Lupin route could make a decent anime plot line.
The only Hakuouki adaptations I enjoyed were the first movie and Reimeiroku. The movies had some amazing bits of animation, unexpected from DEEN.
I'm losing hope for C:R's anime, while the plot is complete, it's filled with details that you'd need to focus on the other guys instead of Lupin for a while, if you don't do that then everything will look easily handled. C:R could be decent with 24 episodes but 12 will make it horrible.
Animation is guaranteed to be below average since it's an otome and the designs are too detailed for anime.
Heroine is really great. She's also one of the demon lords (or whatever their name is), so she doesn't know very much about the human world, which makes some really cute scenes.
The boys - as always - depend on your tastes. But tsundere (the red-hair guy) is by far the best. Kimura Ryouhei really nailed him. The rest are okay, I personally also liked the hikki. Green is a bit questionable, though I can't really talk about a lot without spoilering. Haven't played the secret route yet.
The cat is quite funny. Best mascot. The other four demon lords are good as well, especially the green haired one by Tachibana.
In my dateshit games (inccluding FE awakening) I noticed that green often appeals me the most while the white haired ones make me uncomfortable with their yanderish creepy way (except in the dialovers anime where White (Subaru?) was the least worst boy).
I don't have a very extensive knowledge of that sort of game though. English only reader (for the moment).
I really liked awakening. Don't feel insulted. I also really liked playing matchmaker.
Only thing I didn't like about the game was Robin.
But I could ignore him/her for most of the game so it was alright.
What a fucking shit episode, they're full on Kakeru and completely changed the introduction.
Didn't I say so? It totally makes the game worth it for that character alone.
>#FE is everything I could've wanted.
If they hadn't marketed it as SMT x FE and instead done it as Persona x FE I would be less salty about the whole damn thing, though I'm still debating buying it.
As the newcomer to the ship, the introduction episode being from Koharu's perspective is the most fitting and natural course to take, also making the Kakeru focus pretty inevitable, too. To have attempted to introduce anything more would have been biting off more than they can chew (they'll have plenty of time to make it a jumbled mess later). I felt they actually handled the first episode quite well, which is surprising. I'm curious how they're going to manage to fit Sorata into the show now, though he was mostly irrelevant outside of epilogue anyway. However, I am disappointed about the change in ship design. I would've liked to see the design from the game brought to life, and I agree it gave a comfier impression.
Poor visuals aside, episode one was better than expected. The OP and ED songs were beautiful, waiting warmly for the full versions.
>Would you buy a BWS vita port?
If they ported the PSP game, I'd have to consider it but would be tempted.
If they ported the PC game or included both, I'd preorder the limited edition in a heartbeat.
Are there any games with decent villains that do not later become love interests? So far, I thought Arester from Code Realize was an alright antagonist, but only until the end.
Verite's OP song is pretty nice
I know that feel. Being a senpaifag sucks when you want to buy a nice looking merchandise but it's sold in sets. I really like some of the princes but I like the all senpais far better.
because it's cuter and more romantikku when the girl is totally helpless.
It's nice the author actually fixed that problem in C:R, where Cardia is able of being useful without looking like a Mary Sue.
"bouc émissaire" doesn't mean Kagemusha. It means scapegoat.
They should have use "doublure" instead.
No one gives a shit but I needed to sperge about it. Sorry.
I'm slowly reading through the Hanayaka FD port. I have 3 best guys and Kisuke left from the first part. Mamoru became much better, Hiroshi got a little redeemed, Shigeru and Susumu are still shit, especially Shigeru, since Susumu has
Tae and Sanji getting together, which makes his route better. I finally understood why Genichirou got all those wifes, pic related.
Yuuya should be banned from drawing naked males though.
that's hilarious, like a baking sheet or something.
I've been putting off this game becuase it gives the impression that all the guys are assholes, but it has oyajis, so how assholehish are the two older guys?
The biggest assholes become the best boys, and the simingly nicer guys are actually shit. You should read it. The two oldest bros are the best, and the youngest one, who gives a really bad impression first, is on par with them.
I've been playing every single day since the Android release, if only to hear my husbando's voice.
>didn't rip the voice clip you get on your birthday, just took a screenshot
They only lasted for a little over a year. Kinda sad, considering UtaPri is the biggest otome franchise right now.
I quit some days after their first event. It's impractical to wake up every 2 and a half hours just to use the LP or whatever it is called when leveling up doesn't increase it
this sounds like another game
Tried getting into it twice but just two minigames aren't worth it. I liked the new voice clips though.
Couldn't agree more. Those 30-year-olds are so adorable and the satanic brat surprised me with how based he turned out.
I have at least a few expectations for >>127837303 since it's the same writer, but we'll see. I have to go back to Enkeltbillet sometime too.
New Mitsurugi character song. I don't know whether I'm happy or disappointed that it's not terrible like the first one. I suppose they made it not terrible since they're selling it this time.
I stopped playing months ago because I accidentally deleted it without saving my code, but it was a relief. I started getting into collector mode though it was boring me more everyday.
I mostly stuck with it as long as I did for the clips and the thought that they may expand it.
Check with the Chinese or something for audio and video clips?
I was playing and hoping that more features and real music would be added. I always thought the mini games were the starting point and it would expand into something else, something that allowed us to have daily gameplay with the Utas.
Is it too much to want something like that for Uta, or it is better to limit them to what we have now? I think it could give players the sense of more time with their favorites in spite of VN writing.
Broccoli's actually making a new game with the company who runs the Love Live mobile game, so maybe it can happen: http://www.broccoli.co.jp/company/ir/pdf/pr/160108_klab.pdf
>Waiting for senseis
Would've bought the two boxes for them.
I also vastly prefer the senpais and only like one of the STARISH guys. At least we're getting senpai figures which will be released someday.
Truly best boy, wish he had a bigger role in the current event.
Why is this event so dramatic and sad, I just wanted cute idols doing cute things.
>me fourth from the right as I await non QN goods
I know the senseis are far less popular, but are they truly not worth it when Uta fans can shut down the fucking Broccoli stock? Surely there's money to be made.
Is there a recent poll for the whole cast? I'm curious what their numbers are compared to the princes and senpais.
I don't think I've ever seen Broccoli do an official poll but these magazine ones used to have Ai, Syo, Tokiya never leaving the top 5. Ranmaru, Camus, Ren and Masato often appeared in the top 10.
Some anons must have pictures of these popularity polls, I had two in my old HD. I don't know if they were monthly.
Princes are good for anime fodder since they were never screwed up, but only their first game is worth it. Senpai games made me truly love Utapri and generally I like their songs a lot more. Honestly, I think Broccoli will milk the senpais to the point of no repair soon enough too, so I'll enjoy what's good for now.
Debut is truly a bad game for both of the groups.
>This and the Christmas event
More backstory is always a good thing, but damn. I just want them all to be happy.
Having not played the game and only read the manga, I thought it wasn't too bad. (It's Kakeru route in the manga too.) I'm surprised the music was "epic" sounding, like something out of a movie.
It's absolutely shit.
I understand that focusing on one route is necessary, but come on, they could at least have tried to introduce all the characters.
Not to forget that the ship changes they made makes it pretty shitty. I loved the environment in the game, but in the anime everything is kinda grey, big, harder. The cute little sea next to grass now is big enough to have a bridge and boats. Why would this be necessary?
Not to forget the biggest fault, it looks like shit. Some backgrounds are nice but nice backgrounds are wasted if the character designs are butt ugly.
I entirely agree with you. Kamigami was great, and another example I can think of was the first episode of P4 Golden where the MC was obviously on NG+. Fewer game adaptions need to stop trying to sell the entirety of the story and sell the characters and give a feel of the premise.
Speaking of Kamigami, anyone getting the second game? I kinda want the Vita version for delicious Yone art on a nice screen. But the first game was such a waste of money, I don't want to burn more just for eyecandy.
Not full of gags compared to Kamigami, but isn't that what happened to Arcana Famigilia? And looked how that turn out to be.
I also agree that the first game was a waste of money so I'm skeptical and will wait for reviews to be out. Or I can pirate the psp version.
Did anyone who never played the game want to play it after watching the anime or do you guys feel indifferent?
>Did anyone who never played the game want to play it after watching the anime or do you guys feel indifferent?
Sort of, but the characters I'm interested in most besides the purple Japanese god, are the two Egyptians that are apparently locked and it kind of makes me feel like its not worth it to slog through.
>isn't that what happened to Arcana Famigilia?
They actually REMOVED gags. Like, they would take a skit from the game but not the part that made it funny. And then they forcibly shoved Liberta and Nova in scenes where they weren't in before and made them out to be more like generic genki/stoic eternal rivals or something. That anime was a mess for a number of reasons.
I found the anime overall enjoyable, but that's probably because I still haven't played it and couldn't anticipate and compare the VN's story. It got me very interested in reading it when I'm a bit more comfortable with the language.
Most of the guys seem fun or interesting, especially the three bros. What's the recommended order?
Is that atelier otome game any good? Atelier always had some cuties but I'm under the impression that the otome guys aren't good like the ones from the main titles.
Best old man
Like >>127976509 said the game is really bland. If you like Atelier games for the Alchemy, then you really won't like the alchemy system in this because it's dumbed down and feels like a waste of time normally. Thus, it got really boring fast. I mean, half the fun about the Atelier games was crafting imo. The characters really weren't as interesting as the ones from the regular Ateliers either. If you hate the alchemy in the regular games though, I'd say might as well try it out and see what you think of it. But for me it felt like the soul of the Atelier games was sucked dry in Elkrone.
>game has sandnigger
>he's best boy
>doesn't have a route
>if he does it makes no sense and the writer might have been on some sort of drug
Oh yeah, I forgot Broccoli was making another series. This one's getting a Vita game though.
But he has such a sexy voice, how can he not be popular with females?
He even has a cute personality.
It doesn't make sense.
It's possible that his agency isn't related to any VN producers or his contract forbids it. Alternately maybe he doesn't have the requisite skills (game VA is pretty different and arguably more difficult because you have to act by yourself).
Nah, Snowbound Land. SBL was one of my least favorite games of all fucking time. It was bad. It made no sense.
Someone must still have the "your love is like a giant pigeon crapping on my heart" edit of him
>does it have tits?
>does it have broad shoulders?
>does it have man hands?
>is it in a historical Japanese fantasy setting where girls most likely don't wear pants to begin with?
This isn't difficult
>>is it in a historical Japanese fantasy setting where girls most likely don't wear pants to begin with?
Historical Japanese fantasy settings aren't exactly known for their accuracy.
It's a crossdressing beautiful lady.
Most R-18 games that came to my mind only had bigger than average tits.
There's that game where the MC uses a skimpy outfit and long boots, I think she had an oji-san route but the name escaped me. Biggest pair I can remember.
By the way, is this game good?
New game for Moujuutsukai to Ouji-sama announced.
Some news about the new Norn9 game.
Seems to be a fandisk.
I'm fine with all of them so far.
I can probably see why, if they meant that their tits were taking up too much focus. For games about fapping to dudes you'd think the dudes would be the focus in sex scenes, but there are still games that put more focus on the girls.
Most R18 games are still awful about that. Go look at any of the H CGs from >>128044728, MC and her tits are front-and-center and most of the time she's the only one undressed. If they were cropped just slightly they'd look like CGs from any old eroge for dudes (like the only real difference is that the guys have faces).
Depends on what you want. The other guy isn't from a BL game so the gay remains subtext.
They do have a number of blaring similarities, including their dynamic with the main character, but there are also key differences, especially in power. Basically, imagine if Senge wasn't
a rapistand could be bottomed and more I guess gentle? doting? with Kyou.
That said, if you're bored and want a 3DS game to play, it won't hurt to pick the game up regardless.
Same here! I think an otome game with a setting like Devil Survivor 2, alien invaders and the world being destroyed/erased from existence, would be great. Devil Survivor 2's Fate system really got me wishing for something like that in an otome game. Who's affection you get the highest with will unlock their route and you survive/find a way to fix it along with your boy of choice. And if you don't unlock anyone's routes/some bad ends will have the earth get destroyed or something because you didn't do shit about it or planned well enough.
I don't really care about Airi and Jungo, all I care where pairings are involved are Hibiki pairings, but at least the picture looked otome-ish (insert Otome Yanagiya joke here)
Horror cliches. Ghost hunting, urban exploring, making a documentary in an abandoned asylum/subway/cave/forest/hospital/school/ghost town/camp where other people have disappeared, car breaks down on a road trip in the middle of nowhere, hell even >>128069475
Well, basically it starts out with your standard schlocky horror premise––a relative of the MC dies (here it's his older brother) and he has to spend X nights in a spookie mansion in order to inherit the family name and so on. While he's embarking on this task, a group of four rich asshole dudes on a road trip encounter some ~mysterious fog~ that fucks with their electronics and makes the car break down at the mansion. They turn out to be acquaintances of the MC's late brother and decide to impose on the MC. The MC goes along with it in spite of his butler's objections.
The dudes are all assholes, but the MC tries to hang out with them. They start drinking that night, drug the MC and try to gang rape him (naturally they decide to record this). The next day the MC doesn't really remember what happened until the asshole brigade tries to use it to blackmail him into a bizarre survival game because they're bored––they'll leave and stop harassing him if the MC can either find the memory card containing the video of the attempted rape OR if he mans up and kills one of them. There's also weird spookie ghost shit going on related to the MC's dead brother.
Anyway, so that's like the setup and where the demo leaves off. It's kinda like Funny Games meets some B-grade ghost-themed slasher? Spookie shit and psychological torture and fun stuff like that... at least until the game actually gets going. It turns into incoherent, poorly plotted, generic BL romance shlock real fast and is basically total garbage except for the hilarious bad ends like
the ending where the butler kills the MC and then proceeds to lovingly fuck his corpse while explaining the backstory that set the whole plot in motion (explained nowhere else in the game) before killing himself too. Don't let that spoiler fool you, most of the game is boring as shit. One route was pretty much just half-assed copypasta from other routes (and the route itself).
I don't think that 'Mizuki was a rapist' is the backstory that set the whole plot in motion. It's more about him being a brotherfucker and this shit wasn't exclusively mentioned only in this bad end.
Ok maybe it wasn't the whole plot, but it was one of the bigger mysteries especially with all the time they spent on Kazuki discovering
secret dildoseverywhere and whatnot.
It's very good.
I said it before and I'll say it again: otome where you date Caesars/Emperors of Rome. Fucking around with Caligula, being serenaded by Nero, lewd handholding with Constantine, getting tagteamed by Julius and Brutus.
The anons have spoken: dating game taking place in a possibly haunted hospital/sanitarium with a psych-ward. Do you choose your kind and thoughtful doctor, the cute patient you sometimes see hanging out in the patients' lounge, the ghost who's trying to get someone to solve his death, the shifty hospital director who's hiding something, or
your brother who always comes visit you and talks about how great it will be once the doctors discharge you. You can stay with him, of course. His apartment is a little small (he can't afford much better since he's paying for your stay at a private hospital) but you're his sister! It's not weird to share a bed, right?
>not getting tagteamed by twin brothers Romulus and Remus
Inertia, fluids and gumption.
I'm really looking forward CollarxMalice.
I wanted to be a cop when I was a little girl after all and the art style is very pretty and the heroine wears an uniform.
It's as if it was made to pander to my darkest fetish.
Are they that evil ?
Or is their good/bad game ratio very low ?
C:R was alright.
Anyway I'm getting it. It's just too pretty to pass.
I'm looking forward to play it
when I'll be able to read Japanese.
Oh thank you! I ended up with an ethimology search for the word "fag" on wiki and found:
"The terms fag/fagging, have been widely used for a practice of younger pupils acting as personal servants to the most senior boys for well over a hundred years in England, in the public school system of education."
The things you learn from visual novels, damn.
>Game takes place in historical Europe
>Characters still act Japanese and use customs or gestures that only Japan does
Japan can't do /his/ for shit.
I'll never get over how disappointing Bad Apple Wars was, that was the game I was most hyped for. Feels bad.
The same reason why girls would play bishoujo games.
>They don't sit on the couch with their bros playing dating sims
Your own fault for getting hyped for a game that was so obviously ripping of Angel Beats.
As always, artists, VAs and music do not make a game, the writing does. But sadly most people, especially nip school girls, buy based on the VAs and art instead of looking for good writers. Which is why companies keep churning out games with top tier production values, but don't even try to get good writers. Just look at d3p.
It's very good but it really should have been released as one game. The split format didn't do it any favors other than enforce route order for people who were into it from the beginning and allow time for speculation between volumes.
You know, I wouldn't mind more "meta" type games, like Dot Kareshi.
There can be one where the "heroine" is transported into an otome game? Maybe even a yuri route with the original MC-chan being a huge slut.
A girl is transported to an otome game, but it's a normal person and all the boys turn into heroine cliches because of her. Like she's stronger than all of them because she doesn't have thin bishie wrists so she just princess carries them when they trip and fall, or she doesn't worry about indirect kisses and they're all "oh nooo she took a sip from my soda, ahhh doki doki" and similar, or she's not oblivious to the guys liking her so when she's like "dude do you have a crush on me" they're shocked because they hadn't considered being asked that yet and they have a big long "what are these feelings, it couldn't be~" monologue.
All? I can only see Repeat.
Hope this means they're considering an english version. Repeat is decent at best but if that's a chance for All Star in EN then I'd buy in a heartbeat.
Repeat is only the first of many upcoming ports. They'll announce more in the future. Also, there'll be additional contents in the ports.
When they say all, does that include the UtaPri Music games as well I wonder?
I can't think of many more cliches, though. Someone else would have to help out. I only got:
>None of the side characters have faces and she's the only one who notices and thinks it's weird?
>Her parents are never seen but they leave behind notes and meals implying that they were in her house at some point?
>Guys literally emit sparkles and hearts when she chooses the right answers?
>And you can customize her name but no one says it and just gives her a nickname, and she wonders why.
How about during those stereotypical bullying scenes with other girls the MC either gets them btfo with her reply and they become terrified of her and/or kicks their asses so they leave her alone?
They go to shove her or pull her hair and she just decks them in the face because that's how a real fight goes, and no one understands what just happened because girl just balled her hand into a fist??? and threw punch???? impossible!
When she gets kabe-don'ed she starts giggling or puts the guy in a kabe-don. Either way, the guy gets really embarrassed.
Maybe as a joke ending, the heroine decides to call it quits with the guys and forms a harem with his fan club.
Nah, the delinquent boy does it in front of the whole school to mark her as his girl, but she just ducks underneath his arm without missing a step because she has to get to class and everybody sees him get denied. The very next day he goes from the coolest kid in school to the dude that fetches the other delinquents beers and cigarettes, his street cred demolished. He even has to turn in his multiple ear piercings until he earns them back.
When you put it that way, I suddenly feel bad for the boys.
One of the reason I think VN are infinitly superior to Harlequin shit besides the visual aspect is that romance doesn't reek of materialism like Murrikan shit.
You can have poor husbandos too, not just CEO and doctors.
Suehiro is well known for his ero-guro art and pictures of eyeball licking.
Also whenever I played Harvest Moon Magical Melody I always went after the doctor because "in real life the doctor would help pay for the farm, so he's the best choice."
I was like, a little kid too so I knew my shit from a young age.
If only. A proper horror otome that doesn't fall apart because of the cheap horror elements thrown in with the dating aspect would be great.
Speaking of horror that BL game, Night at the Hospital was enjoyable even if it was short. The character interaction was memorable and gave a nice comedic touch to the horror atmosphere.
