"NA clan: No Botes Allowed"
We have running clan in the game. Find it on the fleet page and then click application button. Post IGN in thread to get accepted.
We have christmass special running now. (Ends the 10th)
1. CLAIM the DLC in-game
2. Go to STORAGE -> NON-BATTLE ITEMS
3. RIGHT-CLICK, and select "USE" on the blueprint. Left-clicking may sell it. Again - RIGHT CLICK, then select USE.
If you read this and still manage to sell it by mistake, tough shit.
Kantai Collection posting allowed.
Feel free to talk about botes here.
4th for freeing the fairies from the oppressive rule of the Kongou!
Threadly reminder that submarine players are cowards and have no honor
Thats not very nice.
Well in your mind are CV players cowards because they attack from long range with planes? Are BBs cowards because they shoot back and snipe?
What is this criteria of being a "coward?"
I do that all the time in my Pensacola though.

No reason to not have the option to play either/both!
Some prefer Steel Ocean, others prefer World of Warshits. To each their own
I personally hope SO takes off so as to continue to force WG to up their game.
it is only like 6 gigs to download, and you get a free T5 premium BB (link in OP) so no reason to not at least apply the BB to your account should you ever want an alternative to WG.
Much like Germany has Cruisers, BB's, and SS.
British were added about a month ago now.. in this game that has been on steam since November 12th.
And yet WG has the Warspite. One Soviet line and one German line. (DD and Cruiser, respectively.)
Nobody bats an eye.
Start up Steel Ocean, make your account name (Can contain spaces, and non english characters.) after that is over. EXIT the game.
Go to DLC page for repulse and launch from there. Claim via gift box bottom right.
Go to storage, non battle item, click the repulse and select "USE" (Sell gives 1 silver.)
You then could sell it for a million credits from port.. but the Repulse makes bonus xp(quick training+ premium ship.) and credits (50-100k on a daily match.. 150-170k per overlord match.. that happens this evening 6pm-8pm pacific time.)
So I would not sell the golden goose.
If you arent penetrating you'll do like 10 damage, this is usually the case if shooting at battleship as a non-battleship. If the other guy leads exceptionally well he can hit 6-7 shots out of 9 while you hit 1 out of 9. If the other guy is in atlanta and you're in a DD you've already lost
I've played all CLs up to and including tier 6, and the only one worth using is Atlanta. I hear the german line leads to good things at max tier, but you're in for a world of pain before that.
thank u for the meme :3
shoot is currently offline but knowing him he's watching the thread for dank memes to welcome
HE is a gamble, even against DDs it will sometimes fail to penetrate. I use it, depending on what ship I'm in and what my target is, but most people don't bother and I almost agree with them.
Got that right!
For the most part HE is pretty okay when your in a BB against anything non BB (or even against BB's if you're firing from longer range at a target heading right towards/away-from you to hope to impact their deck.)
Probably alright for CA's against DD's too.
But I tend to stick to AP for that guaranteed damage vs 'chance at higher, while having a chance at little-none on failed pens.'
Spending Merit in the shop (Shop, Commanders)
There is a daily 'kill 3 german ships' for 90 merit. 180 merit per commander roll.
Fleet Battles, and other events provide merit too. Look at 'Events' tab.
Also commanders for first T2 of each ship class. CL,DD,SS,BB,CV and again at T5.(If you got the repulse you have the T5 BB commander already.)
Merit is purely for commander rolls and has no other purpose.
Who is the first husbando you guys would promote to elite when you get the points?
Pic related. Going to take forever to get 1000 points tho.
>he doesnt have all slots filled with ships to do x2 first win on
what are u doing kouhai
your main ship died in a match?
Jump into ship B for daily.
jump back into main ship.
jump into Ship C for daily. (Look at events by the way.. there are 'play elite ship tier 3+ two wins for 50k credits.)
Person had requested my sub setup..
Here it is.
>flightless bird with plot armor
Best kind of armor.
So if you have not used the 'build' function in fleet yet (or for future thought.)
That stacks with the 10 wins a week .5x
So possibly an hour of 1.5x rewards from Overlord. (or more depending how they apply the buffs.)
And overlord was making 50-160k silver normally (depending on how well you did, if it was repulse.. Super KTKM made 165k one of the matches.)
Overlord starts in 5 minutes.
> cock guzzler 9000
Haruna is pure. PURE
ERMAHGERD SO MANY SHECKLES!
THANK YOU BASED KTKM
315k credits too
>tfw you mag detonation a BB as an Atlanta and take them on 2v1 essentially and win with barely any damage
>tfw being top tier in the bucky and demolishing everything
Bucky is so fun in this game. Why can't WoWs make DDs and CVs of all tiers this fun?
I still can't believe that is their stance on half the game's classes being support and not being able to carry.
So... apparently Replays are in fact a thing!
But had not flipped to switch to record KTKM madness!
Yeah it is especially crazy since they do not have any actual xp gains for true support! (IE: Spotting xp at the very least.)
I LOVED WoWS CBT in the IJN Lines.. play as a stealth intel-relaying torp bote hardly ever actually firing guns.
Just keeping the enemy lit up, shepherding them into positions that would provide my side the advantage (Citpens for allies) If I landed torps, great! if not.. I still did my job even though WG did not see fit to provide rewards for it.
>49% survival rate Minekaze
I was glad to find that SO offered spotting XP.
Except I do not often play DD's, lel.
>Replays are a thing? Shieeeeet.
>I was glad to find that SO offered spotting XP

Fubiki winstreak, this kind of fun should be illegal.
Pretty good. Overlord came and went, Many sheckles were made by all!
Our fleet is now level 5. So we can contain 60 of /VG/'s ''finest'' !
Next fleet Level is 7.5 mill.. so a few Overlord events, but no rush at all.
We've had 25 people online since the year started. 22 today.
All in all we're doing just fine.
How about yourself?
DDs are supposed to be non carrying botes :^)
Holy shit. Thats pretty good, I guess the ability to play with other /vg/ people is much better than sitting alone in port or playing solo. I hope the /vg/ fleet continues to grow into something nice.
Forgot to add about myself.
I unlocked the North Hampton the other night and had fun with the KTKM event, so much easy credits to be made.
I'm finding the NH to be weaker than the Pensacola to be honest, then again I don't have the upgrades on the Hampton either. It sucks being outranged by everything but DDs at tier 6.
>chink boat game already has proper clan support
>almost one year later and WoWs still has no clans
>Decent rewards for actually being good at fleet battles
>Official training rooms for clan vs clan matches if they want to fight.
>CVs are balanced and populated at all tiers, difficult but rewarding to play
>DDs are jacks of all trades that are fun to play
>BBs are slow behemouths
>CLs have a role
>CAs have a role
I got my first MVP but I still feel horrible at this game. It's my first day tho, so gotta git gud soon.
Good job getting MvP.
If you wanna get MvP reliably though, play a DD or CL/CA or CV if you are gud at them.
You can always get better or improve!
Good question, and one people have been asking WG for months. Its also consequently why the game is bleeding players at an uncomfortable rate.
B-but Anon! Did you maybe perhaps miss the
propaganda2015 summary video WG released?
They've had 10 million+ divisions!! And 66 ships, and an announcer who pronounces the word
Betain a way I have never before heard!
It is kind of entertaining to see what they've done up to launch(and after.) and how much SO had at launch, and how much since then! (New game modes, two British trees.)
I guess you could be right, we have a decent amount of players. They need be less punishing on the CV MM though, its great that they want to find CVs to fight, but there simply aren't that many at t6+. Sometimes its really hard to find games at t5 for a CV.
I do know at t8+ They don't even try to match CVs because they are so rare.
Honestly I've looked over the German cruiser stats and compared, they really aren't that good compared to the other cruiser classes. They are still playable, but it seems that US cruisers can outgun or IJN cruisers can bangity bang bang them to death.
Though I will say the range of their damn cruisers is punishing to their enemies.
I can't get the job done with DD, and I feel like if I don't go balls deep with BB to get the job done, no one else is going to get the job done. I don't if I'm the one shitting it all up or my team, but I guess that's something I'll discover after playing a ton.
I was mainly thinking of how tier 3-5 battles are usually with 0-1 cvs per side, and you'd think they're capped at two per side like wows except they aren't, it's just ultra rare to get enough players queueing for a 3-CV-per-side matchup.
Tier 6 matchmaking is dogshit for everything, I have a sub, CL and DD and I barely muster the motivation for first win on them because I know it will always be 5 minute queue into 3v3 shit. Dunno how you farmed to midway with that population.
Koenigsberg 27 is the only CL below tier 7 that's okayish and isn't called atlanta, CLs imo are very bad atm. Take a DD, give the guns a more inaccurate high firing arc, make it bigger so its easier to hit, maybe give it scout planes, bam you have a CL.
CVs are the most attention requiring class while DDs require you to know spotting mechanics down to a tee. They also require you to know when to pull back and when to engage and the capabilities of your bote.
If you want a play a DD the best, you need to have a good sense of situational awareness as well.
Yes, they are limited to 5 in Steel Ocean. Teams are also bigger consequently.
Actually the cap is 3 CVs per side. Tier 6+ CVs actually get a bit more dangerous with 5 man squads, but other than they aren't much different.
I was a good goy and wanted to be the server first for Midway, I've also managed to have games in it believe it or not. It was a one sided slaughter each time. The Midway's planes are pretty tanky.
If CVs are rare in pub battles, at least they will be standard in fleet battles, as they aren't punishing the MM.
Its not that hard, but it can be frustrating if you don't plan your runs and strategies out ahead.
The only fair comparison would be the Agano, which is a CL too. USA gets a CA. I wouldnt be surprised if at later tiers the USA CAs are better than the German ones, though.
Honestly I wanted a DD bully and a backup scout.
Depends on how you want to play the DDs. I play them as scouts and DD harasser. Chech >>127492365 if you want to know more about the spotting mechanics.
I'm not a fan of upgrading CVs via squadsize, as long as the deck reload time barely improves the total throughput of a CV will remain the same across tiers. I usually run smaller squads unless I'm forced to launch from the other end of the map. Feels like the only substantial improvement across tiers is deck capacity and plane health.
USA actually has the Cleveland at tier 8 too. The thing is that CLs are escort ships and should be played as such. Max them out for stealth, stick near BBs and CVs and provide anti DD support or anti sub support.
CAs for USA actually are really good at later tiers, amazing AA and great guns. The Des Moines if given spotting data can just rake enemy BBs with AP until they die, doing 1/5 to 1/6 of their total HP a salvo. Or more drastically. Downside is, they lack torpedos or depth charges, so up close they will struggle against knife fighting DDs or subs.
Well, actually that is a smarter idea. In the initial stages of the battle, I run 2 scout plane squadron with 2 TB squadrons of 3. In the later stages when I'm doing constantly fire support, the timing in between squadrons and it gives me ample time for 4-5 man squadrons on a constant cycle.
The 4 star captain Raymond Spruance can temporarily reduce plane reload time by 30 percent, drastically increasing your ability to get planes in the air.
DD seems hard, that's why I'm focusing in BB for now, but I'll get into it. Thanks for the tips!
Oh and by the way, this game is fun as fuck.
Actually I stick close to the DDs until midmatch, killing enemy DDs so ours dont lose so much HP and get to the bigger targets faster. I do return to deal with the subs though.
If you play BBs, consider staying at 3km from your scouts, so you're in position to nuke something as soon as it gets spotted or run away. Take it with a grain of salt though, most of the DDs suck.
Well, since you're focusing on BBs now you'll start to notice how the DDs dodge salvos and move around the map. Later you can use similar tactics in your own DD and increase your survivability.
As for BBs, wich nation are you focusing into? and what kind of playstyle do you have? a static or a more mobile/agressive one?
>DD seems hard
They probably are the 2nd hardest class in game compared to CVs.
If you git gud at DDs, you will be invaluable to any team you are on. You can always practice at them.
BBs are more expensive to research and play compared to DDs by the way.
Thats a good way to play your cruisers. Subs are honestly some of the most frustrating enemies to deal with at higher tiers. DDs can't depth charge them because it requires them to be ontop of them and often enemies are guns are well within range, meaning that friendly DDs will either die or lose over half their HP attempting to kill subs. Its consequently while CVs are needed for sub hunting.
And yeah, most DDs are bad, the good ones are comparable to being batman on the ocean.
I personally believe that if you want to be more mobile support to play US CAs. They are essentially 3/4s of a BB.
I'm doing that in fact, but I feel like everytime subs start showing up near me, DDs go away to do shit at all instead of stoping them.
Mobile/agressive. I like to hit things with my sword (secondary). I try to get in range of carriers and other BB to hit them with my primary while being at a range enough to hit other targets with my secondary while having time to dodge torps.
Good CVs are invaluable when they are hunting subs. They can attack them without worrying about being shelled to death by enemy cruisers and battleships.
Personally I advance lagging a bit behind the cruisers and take shots at the enemy DDs to cut their vision and enemy BBs near my range to assist my own DDs. Secondary range is more of a "risk zone" for me since at that range you're pretty much spotted and if you're far ahead the enemy BBs would be delighted to shell your position. My advance is not as agressive but its forward enough to put pressure on enemy BBs while not being knife fighting DDs with secondaries.
You should also start thinking about your "route" in the BB so it can keep up with the match and adapt if needed, plus keeping your guns within the engament area as much as possible. As another note for movement, DO NOT STOP, yes you get a slight decrease in aim time when stopped but you can eventually be tracked down and collaped on because of your tracers, moving will make you a slightly harder target to hit. Thus once you have a "route" in mind that can be followed on the move constantly while keeping guns on conflict areas it'll be easy to relocate if needed.
Actually afaik, stopping doesn't decrease your aim time. I've noticed that just moving on a straight path is the same amount. At least its what I've noticed in my cruisers. When I traverse my turrets or bote it greatly fucks it over.
Though when I have a target to calibrate to, even if I adjust and the target is near the previous targetzone, it is extremely quick to readjust.
In the case of BBs you do get a very slight decrease in aim time (or atleast it feels like one) but stopping midbattle to aim a bit quicker can sometimes be fatal. Hence why being on the move is generally the best option.
>When I traverse my turrets or bote it greatly fucks it over.
To avoid this I generally try to make my "route" a zig-zag pattern to keep moving (albeit at low speed) and start turning my guns before turning the bote itself so they're already aimed in the general direction that I want.
I do not stop ever, I use R-F amd Q-E to adjust my way while in shift-targeting mode.
I like to keep my weapons always rearming, trying to be in positions that I can always hit something as soon as my guns are rearmed, but yeah, it's way too agressive for a BB, I'll see how I go playing a little more defensive as you say, and drawing a mental route too. It really helps when the team has a CV to scout where their cruisers/DDs are going.
Adding to this, I feel the same, aim time for me feels the same moving or not while in a straight path.
Oh and my aggresive ways may be because of listening to kongou pak on repeat.
You disappoint me.
This should give you an idea of the pattern that I talk about.
The blue line is the path that you'd follow, the green circles are the areas where you should start turning your guns to the other side and finally the red ones are examples of how that movement pattern could adapt for a more agressive or a more defensive moment.
Ideally you want to be on the same flank as all/most of your DDs and cruisers to get vision from them and shoo the subs away.
Obviously you shouldn't do exactly the same thing, its just to give you an idea of the benefits of that kind of movement and you should adapt it to your own style.
Don't forget, Nagato is
4x2.In game her guns are actually weaker than the tier 6 if I remember correctly.
Remember, its just an example, you can make your approach longer by making more turns or shorter by making less. As for the alternative routes, they vary greatly with the map and the match, they're in there as an example in how the pattern can be altered to suit the current situation
Git gud, cruisers are the most fun class
All the firepower of BBs, none of the FATSO armor. Cruisers are truly the best.
They are the most fun class, that's why I said play cruisers.
>Too much work, play cruisers
Well you can grab your cruisers and
use your personal playstyle and improve upon it.
I'm just giving anon an idea about BBs, you can also expose your points from a cruiser perspective and let him decide by himself, hell he could even mix both of them.
Its okay, its a good thing we both know US>IJN cruisers and that US cruisers > IJN battleships.
I will accept your apology if you post more.
No, they don't get cruisers because they have amazing AA and absolutely baller guns.
Not really, its just a nice way to pass the time. We enjoy Kancolle botesluts and we enjoy this game.
Even if she is a slut, I want to run my hands along her hull.
Sorry to disappoint anon but Atago is pure.
Sleep well anon.
More like biggest slut in the fleet.
>Implying she didn't steal it from Takao.
Pubs will never be happy. This is why you division, anything else is suicide.
I actually like playing alone because I need to only worry about myself and I'm doing better this way.
But holy fuck all those statpadders crying in their hard to use floating mountains of point and click and adventure.
Literally everyone sending me invites to be their bitch.
I'm not accepting them to give everyone even chances.
Fair enough. I care about my stats, but I can do well enough solo. I honestly just hate losing. BB players often can be entitled. They are used to WoWs where they are kings of the sea and only thing keeping them in check are CVs.
Ive got a 72 percent winrate..
It takes all my effort to not REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE at a loss. I hate shitters.
Did I accidentally stumble into wowsg?
But I play CVs. I win most of the time in Atlanta. Its actually my most worrying time in a CV because they rely on the team to be effective.
Haruna poster pls. I'm half awake, pls don't be judgemental.
I'm sorry, thats not Haruna.. thats Treeshima.
That's also part of the reason why Navyfield 2 went under after a promising start a year ago. The fleet battle thing was to be implemented "soon" and a lot of people at high tiers were just waiting for it to happen. But it never did, the devs just sat on their asses watching the game slowly sink. WG.net has become arrogant after they made it big with WoT, as exemplified by >>127511214.
I hope they flesh out the French fleet, lots of neat looking botes here
That just sounds horrible to be honest. I mean some people are still grinding to high tiers, but burning out at tier 8 and above when they hit a wall with repair costs. At least these devs have it right out the gate with fleet battles, with the higher tiers giving more points for your clan and higher renowned gained.
Its honestly sad to watch WG let WoWs goes to waste, it had such potential.
French Destroyers when?
I need a big bote with a big stern. I like CV butts and I cannot lie.
>French DDs get introduced
>Fastest botes in the game that run circles around everything while plinking them to death.
>tfw you will never be at the helm of the Lexington CV in it's prime
Unfortunately not, but I've made my pilgrimage.
she has a low firing arc making her neat for dealing with dds
also she's way better than in wows so that may indeed be biasing me
not this kind of handholding
something really worse
What kind of hand holding could be worse?
>Go to view replay and maybe get some nice shots of gameplay.
>The instructions on how to control Replay mode flash across the bottom of the screen for a second upon loading in.
>Try and look at settings to see controls.
>Hit escape to try and exit and just restart the replay.
THERE IS NO GETTING OFF THIS TRAIN!
>See Ally Ram a DD
>Guns happened to be trained on that area.
>Lets roll some dice, eh?
Replays function oddly.. but then so did WoWS and its replay system so nothing new there.
Space is play/pause..
Right arrow is skip 40s,
Left arrow is exit the match, relaunch the match to a point 40 seconds in the past.
Rewind example (Same scene as WebM + what occurs when you rewind.)
But it beats nothing! And considering how quickly they supplied it when requested by community. I like these devs.
Hey at least Techno didn't back up into those TBs.
That fucking team deserved that fucking loss. God fucking damn shitters piss me off. So fucking much. I should have fucking TK'd them for fucking cowardice. This is what happens when I don't play CV, I get into games where my team's CV can't torp the broadside of a barn and our BBs camp at spawn.
You're god damn right I'm mad. The sheer incompetence of people makes me so fucking frustrated. This is why I'm an elitist prick sometimes, because of shit like this. I hope you grind them into the dirt next time.
The match boiled down to a 3v1 with the sub hugging me and 2 BBs The sub never landed a single torp and spent most of the time in the surface getting VERY SLOWLY damaged by my secondaries. Not a single BB shell landed in the area while I was fighting the sub After finishing off the sub one of the BBs went to the cap, I expected a pincer maneuver dropping on me but it never happened I killed the lone BB capping and couldn't find the last in time.
I guess I'll post dank meme for you then
Welcome to the meme factory Admiral
Well actually, this is why I'm rejoining DIIN and just saying fuck pubs general. No Botes Allowed has cool people and I will always consider them friends, but at the moment I'm just so angry at everything. With the recent thing with me helping newbies and their shortsighted and incompetent petty tyrant of a leader leading a potential group of good players into the dirt.
The fuckfest that was that flank could have been won by either side but when your guys lost a few botes it just collapsed and went to hell.
My shitters weren't any better, that sub remained undisturbed until the CV noticed that it existed and panicked when it showed up next to him.
I was handed the reins to NBA and felt unsuited for them, and promoted Techno to Vice Admiral and ShootMeDead into the Admiral, both have kept the fleet alive better than I could and I'm glad its growing. I don't feel comfortable in a leadership position to be honest.
Well I was punishing your DDs and CLs, but I had no BBs backing me up so I got focused by your BBs and died. I was fucking outspotting our DD(s)? It was pathetic. If our BBs had moved up and focused your BBs, I would have gone to clear up every single one of your DDs/CLs and probably subs as well.
You're a pretty good DD captain Techno.
If that is you :^)
Only 2nd best to redbear89 who I run with.
The guy is a fucking terror in his DD and if you need advice I can forward it to you.
Your BBs were standing still and still within range of my guns, I didn't even notice you were in the match until I saw your ID while zeroing the atlanta. It was pretty much an examplar "pubs gonna pub" match.
wrong guy, also
>implying I'm actually doing anything usefull in the fleet instead of memeing SMD with applications
Wanna jump in with midaway and meme T9 toghether? :^)
I blame WoWs syndrome with people playing BBs like idiots. Part of me wants to help them improve, the other part is edgy as fuck and just wants to kill them again and again until they either learn to stop sitting still or they just quit. The 2nd option isn't the best for server populations though.
I'm good, thank you though. If we do high tiers I'm going to need you in TS so we can work in unison much better. I don't want to leave you unsupported.
The fun happened during last Sunday's FB.
DD feels challenging to get a feel for the battle compared to a CV who gets the complete picture of the fight with its perspective of the battle.
You are exemplary at your job memeing those applications..
And lighting up targets
>Soon™ we shall have Yamatos to meme with.
You also see every single person on your team's mistakes. Over and over, it drives the people who are attentive insane. Watching entire fleets just collapse because of incompetence admirals at the helm.
There is a reason why redbear has me as his go to CV captain. I'm his buddy when hes in a DD.
>I blame WoWs syndrome with people playing BBs like idiots.
Dear god don't remind me about it, seeing mouthbreathers parked behind islands and not moving even when a DD shows up next to them makes my blood boil.
I've unironically seen BBs trying to blueline
Yamatos die surprisingly easy to TBs. They lack good AA and get meme'd on real hard by planes. I will say though that their guns hit like freight trains.
I guess they met the end of the line huh?
>"Collision alarms whats that?"
>Stuck on the red line
My favorite is when I torpedo a BB stuck on the red line.
There is that one guy in a Gearing that does literally nothing but suicide rushes BBs hitting with like one torp and leaving us unsupported.
It's like skill stopped at Bagley jesus christ
I can't wait
I've picked up CVs recently and noticed that the shit BBs expect me to run nothing but scouts while they sit with shells up their asses in the cap.
How can I remove the actually threatening BBs that move and can aim at more than an RJ standing still?
>As a tier 9 DD
But why would you do that.
Because those are baBBies in the literal sense of the word. Ignore them to be honest. What you want to do is support your DDs and subs and cruisers. The key to winning a battle is to wipe out the enemy subs and DDs first. You do that and the enemy BBs are blind. Blind BBs are no threat and can be taken out piecemeal by your planes.
If you aren't good at TBs, spam DBs on DD in a quanity over quality measure. Preferably while they are getting stuck in against your fleet and can't manuever/AA you down without completely exposing themselves.
In this game, if the DDs die first, its GG NO RE. DDs are key to winning as they are so important. If you can't reach a DD in time but have the ability to hit a BB, do so with all haste. Also, you primary job as a CV is to hunt subs more than DDs.
CVs are the hardest class because they have so many responsibilities. Often friendly DDs cannot depth charge enemy subs because of camping enemy BBs shooting them.
Subs/DDs > BBs/CL/CA/CV
Priority target what you can, get a group together and do not run solo. Running solo as a CV unless you are gud in this game is another kind of hell because of how reliant you are on your team.
>he just headbangs into BBs until we run out of points
Yes from your side. But you can have the advantage. It takes longer for him to respawn each time, so thats less time hes fucking up your chances of winning.
No, it just subtracts one from your team. If you are good like Techno, he could have easily made up for the occasional point loss if it meant dealing with the mentally handicapped in a gearing.
Honestly, I haven't found solo queue as a CV that bad at lower tiers, IF you go in expecting pugs to be pugs. Gotta agree with all the points though. I just love TBing subs and some will even rage/call you a hacker.
Also surprise redbear in there, didn't even notice until now.
In the larger games, the skill variance becomes less of an issue but at higher tiers where it's 3v3 or 5v5, I'm often left raging at BBs running off on their own, etc.
The combined weight of bad players equalizes things :^)
Damn red must have been fucking raging. Look at how bad his team did.
Man, small matches are really easy to support.
She stopped eating at the same time as the other carriers so she actually could have seconds.
I'm so torn between this game and WoWS.
i started with this one, found out that one is more popular and switched to it, and now see that everyone says WoWs is dieing.
I'm super not sure of which i'm going to play, and fear it may cause me no stop playing both.
The WoWS doomsayers aren't correct, the game has problems but it's good enough to stick around. They're only doomsaying to get changes they want implemented.
SO is smaller but growing, WoWS is more popular and mostly with static numbers but only because anyone interested has already played it. Both games have a future imo.
Why do you care about popularity? They're different games, just choose based on what you like better..
By dying I meant that it's getting worse mechanically. I don't care about playerbase, as long as there's enough around that I'm not playing the same peeps all the time.
I remember having a lot of fun killing subs in SO. Maybe I'll give it another shot soon.
I look forward to see you in your Taihou.
This will be fun.
Or drink vodka and drive subs.
IJN subs are more expensive, larger, have more HP/ torpedo damage and even get planes. They are also the fastest
American and German subs are MUCH smaller thus able to dodge torpedos and shit easier. Consequently they are also cheaper to research.
Deal with it nerd.
> implying this maiden is anything but pure
you shouldn't get yourself a nice burger cruiser
If I just happen to like KanColle is there any reason for me to actually play this game during repairs or what.
Like I play lots of online games and stuff but is this shit or like yeah.
Yeah, I worded that like shit.
Like, I'm old now, been playing shitty translated MMORPGs and shit for ages. Warrock when it first came over, iGunZ when it first became a thing, etc. I knew these games were shit but still enjoyed them.
Is it like that or is it just for war autists.
Have you played War Thunder/World of Tanks/World of Warships?
Or you could always watch a stream or YT video gameplay to know how the game is. If you are not a war autist you are going to have fun, if you are a war autist you are going to have some fun and rage some too. Most people rage about other people being stupid more than realism autism.
It's WoT with ships. You get a ship, play matches to grind to the next tier of ship. It's fun in my opinion but I like this type of shit, it's faster paced than WoWs more skill based lots of ships to choose from.
So after playing Cruisers since I started I tried giving Destroyers a shot, Holy shit man it was pretty fun. Fubuki a best I nuked 3 BBs in a row my first time out.
Its not just WoT with ships. Its a mixture of 3d Navyfield and Battlestations pacific.
Also the devs actively punish cheaters unlike Wargaming.
Yeah, DDs in this game are crucial and very powerful.
In order of ability affect a battle and carry a team it goes
DDs at upper tiers have absolutely monstrous abilities. AA is not a meme like WoWs either. DDs can gun down battleships at upper tiers, they are that powerful. You also get spotting exp for providing target data to friendly ships.
DDs are fun as fuck.
Well they are about the same, that was my mistake. CAs can punish and hunt DDs just as well as CLs, what they lack is the anti sub ability of CLs, they can do everything else better. Though if anything, CVs are best at killing subs, you just provide the sonar for them.
They require you to think ahead and not be stupid. If you act stupid, you will get punished very hard and it will be unfun for you. They like DDs require you to know exact mechanics and having amazing situational awareness.
I wasn't going to sugarcoat it. It does get comfy sitting underwater with no sound except for the occasional sonar ping, while you sip coffee and wait for the battle to progress.
Japanese CAs are probably my favorite, they may not have the guns of the burgers but I like the ability to launch torpedoes I just feel like I have more options.
Japanese CAs get bullied super hard by US CAs. In regards to torpedos, they are really only good if you can close in and engage, or for area denial. CAs are best at moving up behind DDs out of sight and providing fire support so they don't die to other DDs.
>We have received some complains on Dark Judge Fleet these days. In order to verify their behaviors, we check the server records and find that there is no cheating or other kind of such things in this fleet.
I've got a friend who swears by the t5 German cruiser. He absolutely loves it. Its a King Kong.
Ro-11 -> I-1 -> I-14 -> I-19 -> I-58 -> I-16 -> I-176 -> I-400
Sorry. The IJN SS line is a bunch of aircraft CVs tho.
>>Fubuki a best
You. You are a Good Man.
>Download 'cause I'm all for an alternative to any vidya I play
>Ooh shit son, Submarines
>2m oxygen endurance. 2 minute endurance regen time.
>You can easily be detected regardless of your depth.
Noope, nope, nopenopenope
Going back to Silent Hunter & World of Warships.
Did you expect to be able to sit underwater the entire match?
Any sub past t5 can be underwater for a long ass time.
And no, you can't easily be detected at any depth, you just pay attention to mechanics. Ships have sonar and can easily detect a moving submarine at light depths.
They are always worked up anon. Most of them at this point are redditors and openly condone cheating.
What happened? I don't visit wowsg
