Tiers for mutations are non-existent. A couple synergize with every character but every mutation can be good depending on the character
Melee is more useful than you think, use it to break up large projectiles and completely fuck over lil hunter
Lil hunter is not that bad if you use corners to peak him, hammer head is good for this
Crowns are highly situational but Blood is useful for racking up kills for dailies/weeklies and for general practice
