I don't think she's as bad as they say but as a character she requires more care than others (basically you want to avoid 4 o'clock). While she can be really strong when her 8 and 12 o'clock buffs are stacked, she can die too easily due to aggro up and def down. Essentially she's not strong or useful enough to challenge the established dark lineup (Naru/Vampy/Grey/etc). If you are going to be a full-on self-buff attacker, you either be like birdman or you're out. Some nips are hoping she would get much better with 5*.

It primarily depends on which weapon type the card is.

All the hammer cards are mediocre despite having above average skills due to hammer having the strongest skills in the game.

Conversely, rod and spear are the two weapon types lacking extremely powerful skills. That Kurumi spear you got is probably one of the best skills you can find on a spear. That Miki is like the first instance of an attack up buff on a rod while combined with a projectile shield.

Half were because of meteor missing too much, and the other half were due to stupid positioning catching Piz'fer in the chain to heal them all back up. Only now, after getting Zael to 33% does it even dawn on me: why am I bringing Piz'fer at all? The only floor where ice magic is strong is on the second to last one, and you can't even use it because you need to keep the AoE knockback enemies alive to stall for 6 turns.
