I dunno how I feel about them now. I've been skipping some of their videos and recently discovered OneyPlays which creates this stark contrast, since in many of the Oney LPs I've seen they're actually competent at the game. They got a Bloodborne LP with four guys and they do it right: one guy is a vet at the game and the other three are the main sources of conversation making jokes while also commenting on what's going on.

At this point I think the guys are best at one-offs like the Warriors All-Stars video or their Machinima stuff. The LA Noire LP was a holocaust of frustration because you have three people, one on the controller and yet none of them are paying attention to the one game that really does need careful attention to what's going on. That sort of stuff kills me, even with some of the funnier moments in those videos. Dead Space 2 is better since it's really just a shooter game and you have a fucking line on the floor that tells you where to go all the time, but as people have said it's kinda dull. That said, the podcasts make me laugh so I know they still can be funny.

I have a problem with mecha anime. I love surface level things like Gurren and Code Geass and Full Metal Panic but I just can't get into anything below it. All those shows are so slow and boring and formulatic. The only time I enjoyed anything else rom genre were summary movies of first season of Gundam. I guess toku shows are cool but I haven't really watched anything other than KR and some Sentais. I'm thinking about watching some Garou because htat looks cool.
