Video Game addiction is real, and there's no doubt about it, and only stupid will try to deny, but there's one problem with Term "Video Game Addition" itself, because it's not accurate. Video Game Addiction should be changed to Happiness Addiction, and I'll tell you why.

Addiction is pretty negative word, and in case of this thread it's used properly, but why it's used properly? Video Games, and playing Video Games is the most pure source of Happines, and the gives 100% of happines per time spend on them. You will ask "If it's so good, then why there's that much battue against video games?". There's such battue against video games, because as much video games giving you happines, that much it's unproductive. That's it. Playing video games gives you nothing besides happiness, literaly. Peoples addicted to cigarets, geting cancer, and you? by playing video games? Nothing, Only mare feeling of happines. There's no mastercraft custom knife made for your mother using you knowledge and getting much more, to made better meals, there's no paintings however bad they could be made by you, there's almost no effort made by you, to gain soo much happiness, and that's why it's addictive. Doing anything other than playing video games, to fullfill your life requires effort, Blacksmithing, Painting, every Hobby, even Tabletop Games, EVERYTHING requires spending your time, your efforts, your power, to gain happiness, and BAM! There are Video Games that requires no effort, and giving you 100% Happiness, but for cost of time spend uslessly, only to fill your emotion.

That's why Video Games are bad. I'm addicted to them too, and that;s what the most painfull for me. All what I could done by paing time and efforts, that could give me expirience and physical gains, dissapeared just by fullfiling my own mental lusts of geting happines.
