Classes change and as your toolkit becomes more complete, jobs start coming into their own and filling the niche that they were designed to do.

I'm not saying low-level isn't fun to play, but it depends on the job. For example, BLM is really not fun to play low-level since you don't have all your abilities and have a disjointed rotation. It really doesn't become "complete" until you get to 60, but it's one of my favorite jobs and one of the most fun imo.

It gets more refined and improved from 3.0 on. ARR msq is a lot of fetch quests and "going from one place to talk to someone, then running back to another place to report in" kinda stuff. They tone that back in the expansions for the most part.

Depends on what you're looking for. The normal mode dungeons/raids/trials are plenty fun and entertaining, but they have the hard/extreme mode stuff for that extra challenge. The main thing that keeps me playing is the music, which is the best in the industry at the moment imo.

Before you have any of the kenki spenders beyond the one that buffs your damage that's basically it (I don't think the DoT is effected by the 50% boost but I might be wrong on that).

You do one combo, put the DoT on, then you repeat the action of doing all three Sen combos, use all three, and reapplying the DoT as the fight goes on.

They have literally no MP issues anymore. Thin Air is OP af, Assize got it's cooldown cut by 1/3, and we have an MP refresh.

Our little shield isn't great utility to be sure, but our niche is that we have huge heals, and Yoshi made sure that stayed the same in SB. Plus our DPS outclasses the other healers by far

Blood Price is shit now, but Darkside doesn't drain mana anymore, just blocks regeneration apart from your own abilities, so it feels a little easier to regain mana.

Losing Dark Dance sucks, and Unleash is also total shit now with basically no reason to use it over Abyssal Drain. It doesn't feel horrible to play, though, just a little simpler, like every other class.
