Dragon Ball was just straight fun and entertaining, and the other reason I liked it was cause it was just a simpler premise. Everything after Frieza saga was just power level drama, although I'd like the idea of the Future Trunks timeline spin-off if that became an actual thing.

I'm honestly surprised it took THIS long to get a proper DB fighter (yes I know Super DBZ came out as well). But it seems like a no brainer that "serious" anime fighters haven't been made like JoJo, Naruto, One Piece, HxH etc. They seem like something that'd appease both the casuals and competitive players, without having to dumb shit down. Casuals will just love being able to play their favorite characters, and tournament fags get the best of both worlds.

I LOVE Roshi, he's prob my favorite character, but the entire point of his character was for Goku to surpass him WAY back after the King Piccolo arc. As for how big this game will be, I'm conflicted. It's ArcSys, so no matter how good the actual mechanics are, it probably will be at least somewhat niche since they don't pay much for advertising in the west, BUT it's the DB IP, so Bamco will probably at least pay for a few commercials to get attention for it. Being a well known IP will also help its chances, of course.
