I got this too. With a brave bow+ and life and death 3, she can ORKO more units than a perfect IV (+atk, -hp) Klein. (Over 100 different units.) She'll have one more atk and one less spd than his quad build (she'll be 47/32). So even -spd she's an amazing unit. I won't be investing in her though because I've already got the Klein, but if you don't have one and haven't experienced brave bow map deletion, then I would deck her out.

I really want Charlotte but I have terrible luck with blues.

I mean that the unit should have all the slots fully filled. One thing to note is that some skills are "worth" more than other. For example, the skill Aether is worth more than other regular skills so if you use it you earn more points than if you use another skill.

BST does count but not at the same intensity as before. Merges are worth more but if you are looking to squeeze out as many points it does make a difference.

I've got +atk Nino with darting blow 3, desperation 3, hone atk 3 and ardent sacrifice. Her teammates have hone spd, fortify def, fortify res. With the boosts those give to her attack, she can kill everything in desperation mode (even if she's only been boosted by one or two of them). Hector and Ike included.

Or, you could build a decent cavalry team with Reinhardt, Cecilia, Xander, and your +atk Frederick. It will take a while but even with imperfect IVs you will have an annoyingly strong setup.

Admitingly the (and Clair) arent quite finished but basically she's going to be a Desperation fighter with Ardent Sacrifice. Keeping Silver Lance+ on her since she needs that damage boost. +spd/-res is a good spread despite losing a bit of her magic tanking.

In a perfect world, it would be a Cordelia/Bunny Camilla/Hinoka/Caeda(Palla) team but I'm not made of money and I'm just using what was given. Clair can fill in the gap just fine with the right skills.

She can take it with Eirika's help (thanks to the Hone Res seal), especially in typical cases. Normally, he's on a sub-optimal team without a unit to supply him a Hone Cavalry buff. But, he still doesn't win with Hone Cavalry, a +Atk seal, +Atk IV, and Death Blow. The only cases in which he wins are once where he has all of that and is also receiving a Goad Cavalry buff, or has his Special skill charged up. Having Goad on a unit besides Reinhardt is a rare setup, and the AI is unlikely to take full advantage of it. You can prevent his special from being charged by moving Nino in his range on turn 1 so that he'll sudoku himself on her.

If Eirika isn't around, this fight goes the same way if Nino has the HP +3 seal equipped.

I don't get it. Why would you want to play it? At least with a TCG, you have the option of going back and buying the cards you missed from people who pulled them. This game just ensured that you will never get a full set, and ensures that you will almost certainly never even have the chance of getting some characters/variants you want unless you've been playing constantly from the beginning.
