It's still awkward as hell. Some of the voice work just sounds off at times and nothing that is supoosed to have gravity to it does becsuse it's just so corny all around.

It is better though, but only in comparison to the first one, which isn't saying much.
The best part about it in comparison to the first one is that this one only takes place in the altered dimension, the one where superman killed Joker. None of the peaceful dimension characters are in this, so there's not two supermans or anything like that.

As much as I love Ra's as a character, he wouldn't be terribly interesting in a fighting game from a gameplay perspective. Other than being immortal, he's just a normal human. And not even one with cool weapons and gadgets. At most, he's good with a sword. And "sword guy" with no other gimmicks would seem boring compared to the entire rest of the cast. Even Deadshot, who's just "guy with guns", at least has a whole bunch of different guns to choose from.

Also I think there were rumors of Constantine being in as eventual DLC, but nothing confirmed.

The game is relatively well balances at the non-elite level. You can become progicient and win wiyh anyone.

Obviously at tge scrub level people with projectiles and good guard blocks dominate as usual. Deadshot has already probably forced many bads to quit the game.

At the semi-pro and pro level we really don't know yet. The game is too new to know enough about the meta. I see everyone being used.

Imagine if the Superman ending is canon, and in the third game, you're playing a super villain protagonist who is trying to take down Superman's planetary regime.

Someone like Darkseid would be the only one capable of breaking Superman's iron grip on the planet, and then through the chaos, the usual heroes are resuscitated and the perspectives reverts back to them.

I never really played Flash in 1 but I picked him up here because Grundy is gone and I hate Grodd.

I basically just try to get that first knockdown and start a wakeup game. F21~MBkick into a trait juggle for overhead, D12~MBkick into trait juggle for low. If I don't have trait I just use a meter burned whirlwind instead and do a F3 B3 into runner's stance, but I know there has to be better damage and positioning off of those starters.

Other than that I use D123 and 112 at ultra close range as my fastest options if someone is button-happy

So theres actually this super secret society that has controlled Gotham for centuries or something called the "Court of Owls" and they have decided to take down Batman by awakening their warriors known as Talons. They actually give Batman a run for his money and almost take over Gotham but all members of the bat family join together including red hood and hold off the invasion. The Owls are actually led by Batman's long lost brother and he knows who Batman is and they have a final fight in which the brother "dies".
Joker comes back only his face has been cut off and he tries to kill the whole bst family but fails miserably. Then he tries again and seemingky dies along with Batman, then Gordon is Batman (yes, you heard that correctly) for ehat seems like forever until Bruce returns to fight this faggot called Bloom. Sinestro tries out the hero thing as a green lantern but eventually says fuck it and gives the ring back to Hal.

Harley and Ivy fall in love. Nothing much comes of it but, yeah.

Meanwhile the rot, which is literally the comvined manifestation of decay and death, literally takes over the earth, corrupting pretty much every hero in yhe process. I don't know how that gets fixed desu. Swamp Thing and Animal Man probably go back in time or something.

Everything else gets retconned with rebirth to go back to how it was before New 52 happemes. So rebirth is less reboot and more return to status quo.

I doubt it. Brother Eye going rogue would feel no different than what we got with Brainiac. Feels more like a foreshadowing for Batman going Regime on everyone. And Billy going Black Lantern will be completely out of line. Fans would probably riot if they try to pull that shit on an innocent boy.

Maybe but Injustice WW makes the most sense. I mean WW has always been basically Xena Warrior Princess thrown into a modern day society where you can't just kill people to solve your problems. If you grew up in an isolated Greek warrior style society and then had to exist in a wider world with due process you would either end up murdering someone anyway or go insane.

It's the same reason Jonah Hex wants nothing to do with the future and chooses to stay in the old west. In the old west he's considered a good man who kills rapists and robbers as judge and jury, in the future he knows about he's a murderous psychopath.

So basically Eggman and Dr. Wiley created a "super genesis wave" to reconstruct the universe to be one where they had ways ruled it (Eggman had tried a similar one beforehand and while it worked, it was unstable and the universe reset itself).

Sonic defeats Eggman and tries to use the device to create HIS ideal universe but Eggman rushes him and causes the wave to go off immaturely. This cayses literally everything in the universe to be deconstructed to the molecular level and built back up... only problem is it isn't built back up perfectly. The idea, as Eggman explains, is that the universe tried to put itself back together but didn't do it quite the same way. This means the raw matter and energy that made up some characters and events went elsewhere and thus those characters don't exist anymore. Even the characters that were built back up are not exactly the same (sonic for instance is younger and has a different backstory, Eggman too).

This was done so they could say that all the previous storylines still technically happened. It's a reboot, but there's a lore reason for WHY there's a reboot. Technically the old events are still canon, even if they don't exist.
As somebody said earlier, they would have been better off just doing a hard reboot and restarting at issue #1. The continuity beteeen the old canon and new canin only makes it confusing for new readers and while as a long time subscriber I appreciate the not wanting to just give up on the old stories, I would have been hapoier with a proper ending and a new start, nit this wonky in the middle shit.

Not that it matters, the comics are dead.
