The thing I found strange about the grandmaster that just reinforces this is that when the grandmaster speaks in door 14 she didn't seem malevolent like you would think. She seemed more neutral than anything but even expressed regret lives were lost as part (and not just Weissman) during the Gospel Plan. I haven't played Crossbell or CS so maybe things are different after playing those but just from seeing her there its makes you consider that Ouroboros may not be an evil organization.

Those are the second best weapons you can get 4 of the ultimate weapons from the 4 Zemurian Ore's you get.

Some of them can be obtained in the final dungeon, the Aster+2 for Kevin and Morality Sword +1 for Ries drop off Death Sluggers although I'd ended up using one of my ores on Ries. Anelace also is an exception and gets her ultimate weapon by taking her through the Nightmare arena to upgrade Jinu.

Other than that, these games are amazing, but I literally could not care less about these requests on the bracer board at this point.

Nah its a pretty reasonable thing to say. I did max BP my first run and there were times I just wanted say fuck it and progress the story. By the time I got the Haze quartz I was just rushing through side quests and ignoring monsters because these games let you catch up in levels stupid quick anyway.

Playing the first one, do you guys have any good tips for combat?
It seems like Elliot's def up and hp heal per turn is amazing and Machias energy shell is also great. Delaying enemies with Rean is also pretty based.

Only got the s-crafts for Laura, Fie, Jusis and Rean but it honestly seems like Fie's own absolutely shatters everyone else.

It's honestly pretty easy like any first entry in a saga but CS is particularly easy to break.

Basically just avoid being retarded and you'll probably be okay. One thing probably worth pointing out is that most characters don't really benefit very much from their default Master Quartz and is can be a good idea to switch out most of them. Force, Angel, and Falco are mild exceptions since they're all good, coincidentally because they're not cookie-cutter "raise stat X periodically" quartz. Brave and Raven are okay until you get something better though.

A few Old Schoolhouse bosses later in the game have bullshit status effects. I don't remember when you encounter each specific one but I think Freeze and Faint are relevant here. Have protection on standby against those two statuses for sure; it might be good to protect against Faint even in general, too, since it's probably the most annoying status effect that's still relatively common.

Pretty much every character can break the game so just use your waifu. Some characters have to wait a little bit to get the craft that lets them do so, but there aren't any missable crafts or anything.

Dialogue is Falcom's strength. There's honestly no -need- to make random NPCs so charming and expressive, but they go the extra length, and it makes the world feel more alive. You'll notice that some smalltime NPC will have a character arc over the course of two games. It's also why Kiseki games take so damn long to localize.
