I imported the Japanese version because I was too impatient to wait for it to get localised, so I'm pretty grateful for voice acting. Reading Japanese is hard, but listening to it is a lot easier. Also Ami Koshimizu as a main character makes me pretty happy.

ZX and ZXA are both very fun gameplay wise and the characters are also pretty fun

The lows alternate between taking itself a little too seriously and a little too dramatic every now and then but I'd recommend both. I like ZX more even though ZXA has better stages and an overall bigger feel to it.

Neither are as overall highly solid as the zero series but that's a pretty high ceiling to get to

When ZX3 comes out, both timelines will converge in some over-the-top fashion so that Vent and Aile will team up with Ashe and Grey and search for Model-Z. We'll also get side segments where we will be able to play as Prometheus and Pandora and discover the mystery behind Model-W and wrap everything up in a final and satisfying conclusion.

When ZX3 comes out, everything will be fine. Just you wait and see because I'll be waiting.

That was the case for the first ZX too, really, given that ZX looks more like Zero than just Z does. You're only allowed to resemble what you're based off if model X is involved somehow.

Let's see I always liked fighting Bass the second time in MM7. Good fun fight. X is harder to pick because I like quite fights that series. Zero has plenty of good bossfights too honestly. I enjoy fighting the Guardians in both Z1 and 2.

Oddly I don't recall liking ZX/ZXA bossfights all that much besides maybe or three.

Of course there's the other MM series. But then I would think a little bit longer about those. These just came to my head.

Only real issue I had with ZX was that Giro was just there. I didn't give a shit when that moment came. He should've had more of a story either pre or post the titular ZX transformation.

Advent was a lot better in that regard though. Both Ashe and Grey were fun; it helped that they each had unique backstories with Grey being a test tube baby and Ashe being a bounty hunter.
