Games that can no longer be purchased legally
>Was planning on buying this today
Are you serious? It's no longer on PSN?
I got Knives, but missed out on Wallace.
Is there any other way to grab it?
I'll do it all, anything for one last whiff of nostalgia
Not exactly available on consoles anymore unless you want to get an arcade machine unless im missing some other port
Not outside of America, for some reason.
Well the only thing right now is to use the Xenia emulator with a rom of the game because some youtube videos have trid the game, but its probably not gonna run well and its probably complicated to use because I dont know how it works. And it probably has audio and graphical issues fi you can get it to work
You can still buy a physical copy from a 2nd handed person
wallace was just a reskinned Stephen with rainbows anyway. 100% clone
Outrun Online HD was taken down from all stores, along with Outrun 2006 being taken down from steam
the definitive version of Outrun 2 is lost forever now
Ok, so I believe it's on the hard drive of my no longer functioning PS3.
Do we have the technology?
Can we rebuild him?
Can I grab the game off of there and put it onto my new ps3?
>before they actually come around and make the full game
It was only available digitally. Ubisoft removed it from PSN and Live because the licensing for the soundtrack expired, I think.
Do you know if there's any way to buy a Gamestop code from the UK?
Er, I don't know what the situation is like in other stores but out where I am there are still a small fee reserve slots. So yeah if you hurry there is a chance. Also, nintendo tends to refill our reserve stuff once in a while like the monhun new 3ds, so check with the employees and ask them to let you know when and if they're reservable again.
Are you SonyBros telling me if a game you purchased digitally gets taken down that you can't just re-download it? I was thinking about buying a PS3 to play all the exclusives I missed last gen and was probably just gonna download most of those games.
This is exactly what I feared when I heard that digital games are the future. When I finally had money, I said "I sure want to get After Burner and Outrun now", only to learn that they've been de-listed, so I can never play them unless I either buy a console that has it downloaded or log in to someone's account and download it that way.
Fuck the future of video games.
One of the ones in middely-northy California. Kind of bumfuck nowhere a few hours north of Santa Rosa.
I take requests like that all the time, so if your local store doesn't suck then yes. We even have a clipboard we're supposed to use for customer requests and phone numbers.
>it's still listed online, but without a price or purchase button
THE BODY I'VE LOST, THE COMRADES I'VE LOST... WON'T STOP HURTING
Unless you want to pay way too much with all the DLC on disc
If anyone wants to play a game that's practically a carbon copy of Scott Pilgrim, try out Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds.
It's on Xbox 360 (backwards compatible with the Xbone), PS4, Vita and Steam. The PS4 version isn't as good as the other ones though.
I didn't make it, the game is a spin-off of a fighting game called Phantom Breaker.
Just spreading the word on a really great game that I think deserves more attention than it gets.
BIG WARNING FOR THIS!!!!
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT THE GAME AND IT'S ON YOUR CONSOLE DON'T...DELETE...IT!!!
IF YOU DELETE THE GAME EVEN YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GLRE DOWNLOAD IT EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT IT!!!
FUCK DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION.
How do you have such hope, anon?
I don't mind them being gone since I bought MvC 2 on launch. Just sucks that it became hard to get all over again.
I'm just pissed off how Capcom handled the license before it expired.
>Vita just came out
>UMvC3 was a launch title
>Had potential to have MvC 2 released on the system
>Nope better port to iOS instead lol
Woah, I have this for psn. Maybe I should replay it some time...
Digital purchases are getting touted as the new way to buy games, ensuring games will remain accessible, yet with time certain games get delisted. Making it nearly impossible obtain them in the future.
>get this for dsi
>100% the game
>Get 3ds 1 month after the download deadline
>lose all data
It's not fair
Why was this taken down?
I have hope for it coming back though, since Diamond is Unbreakable is coming soon and JoJo is becoming more popular.
>tfw missed out on MvC2, Outrun HD and After Burner Climax
I fucking hate digital distribution on consoles.
Back to hunting down XBox / PS2 copies until they eventually become victims of laser rot, I guess.
I bet my brother might still have his CD copy lying around somewhere
but his bedroom looks like the holocaust and I don't want to dig through all his shit
Yeah, but Wallace is rad.
Is it better than the sequel? I played B&W2 so much, I love it.
although it's worth mentioning for anyone that got on the 3DS CFW bandwagon, you can pirate DSiware games, so anyone that missed out on four swords anniversary should go download it
>the Umihara Kawase games got pulled from Steam during the sale, right after I decided I was going to spend money on the sale
Guess I'll have to pirate them.
>the Simpsons Arcade HD
>The Xmen Arcade HD
>Marvel vs Capcom origins
feels bad hombre
You can buy it on gamestop.com. i did a week ago. $15 go crazy
One of the best FPSes of all time can only be pirated, and not even Night Dive was able to dig it up from legal hell
Shit way to end the year desu
tfw the trilogy only became top seller because it got delisted
I'm still sad that I can't buy the full version on there, I have the PC port but it's more fun to play the original.
>tfw GTA 1 and 2 are no longer available on steam for some reason
I remember they used to have it come for free in that GTA: Complete Package bundle (which was probably the best deal back in 2011 or 2012).
>tfw lent gf gamegear
>tfw we're long distance for the next 5 months
>tfw I might not get my gamegear back if things go south
Holy shit I'm visiting this bitch next week to get my gamegear in case we break up.
>proceed to checkout
>"OOPS! There seems to be a problem."
>call customer support, on-hold for 20 minutes
>someone I can barely understand tells me not to use paypal, but another method
>"OOPS! There seems to be a problem."
Fine, I'll just deal with my 360 Wallace-less version.
I think it was more to do with the fact it didn't work very well on newer systems. I had to do quite a few things to get it running from a disk last year and I haven't even got Windows 10 or anything, which it might be even more broken on.
The original developers got bought out by Disney and got ordered to make mobile games, so I guess they couldn't even get the chance to fix their game even if they wanted to.
it's in no more danger than the other rare DK games, it's going to be up for as long as nintendo doesn't actively piss off microsoft
is it all out yet? i was waiting until it was finished to reread it all
At least you can emulate the definitive dreamcast versionif you're a pleb like me that cant get mame working.
>Doritos Crash Course
>Uno "Underage Girls Flashing and Men Wanking" Edition
>its YOUR obligation to save companies not doing well
Oh god I need another game like 1 vs 100. I never cared for the show but this idea for something so creative, i cant believe hasnt been used since of a gameshow with real players. I remember hearing the 2nd doritos crash wasnt good
This is why current copyright law is unconscionable. Orphaned works have no protection, and thus as legitimate means to purchase disappear, the erasure of said work is almost certain in its future.
The PC versions of the Umihara Kawase trilogy.
This was a pretty good game with wacky weapons. The bow was amazing until people whined and got it weakened. Using the bottle rocket launcher with spring shoes or the freeze gun with the roller skates was fun as fuck.
