The worst thing is, I worry I'm ditching each class too early to really enjoy one of them but I can't help myself. Mystic Knight felt like it had no real magic element and the little magic it did have, was boring as fuck. Hitting a floating orb is not all that fun. Magick Archer has been a bit more interesting but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the daggers. Sorcerer has no melee, so I don't want that. Fuck sake this is a pain in the arse.

Mystic knights are even better tanks because of their shield enchants, noi you do not need to level as sorc for magic gain, most of your spells still scale off strength.

Once you get Gale Harness you will never look back at strider.
It not only increases your movment speed, but also attack speed and lasts relatively long while costing a trivial amount of stamina.
I only leveled strider for the augments, otherwise it's inferior to assassin in every single way.

The first couple of quests are a bit difficult. you can actually lose a character in one other quest if you decide that going through 5 high level bandits isn't worth it.

Go to Gran Soren first, level up to about 15 along the way, then go back.

You'll get your shit pushed in by a Goblin at the start on hard mode if you're not careful of when you come in for an attack. You'll get one shotted by most things so having pawns is neccesary.

Not only did they run around when their tails went off, I think some random Pawn I hired as tank learned about it, at some point the game slowed down and focused on him and he said "I'll draw their attention cut their tails" or something but there was only one left

That was fun

All the secondary weapons in this game feel extremely unsatisfying. I like bow the best but it feels really weak and status arrows only seem to really affect smaller enemies that you could kill easily anyways.

Can I play this offline and still have a fun adventure? I don't have the money to buy it.

Yes, you fucking need all your pawns on hard mode. Without them you'll probably lack access to elemental damage, the ability to hold a monster still while you wail on it, and anyone to save you from grab attacks. At the very least you need them to keep monsters from aggroing onto you and only you because if that happens you're basically fucked.

Ogre AI is a bit naff. That combined with their attack being random flailing and dropkicks means the often throw themselves off ledges.

Ogres are actually quite a tough enemy to fight when they aren't committing suicide.

Don't sell anything. You can enhance the gear on some vendors. You can't believe which kind of shit the gear requires to be improved, and it's good for you to enhance your equipment as later on when you are strong enough to kill dragons, once they ide you get a random 3 star gear dragonforged, which is the best enhancement a gear can get, and you can make it even stronger if you enchance it further on the BitterBlack island with the guy there, can't remember his name.
