Here's my Freddie from Cromartie.
Will you hire him?
He's got the deepest voice, as you can imagine.
>mfw my arisen is a sexy beast
Do Sorcerers just never get healing skills or what I need a healer but I don't want 2 mages standing around uselessly.
At what point can I do the first quests in the first town? I spent 30min searching the whole town and I couldn't find any rats or shit.
I just returned to the town, are they in the well? Ton of more quests now. Feeling overwhelmed, just wanna do them 1by1 in town.
those mmo quests are done around the world. only npc related quests are near.
Me and Adolf.
Should I make him a Sorc?
I like the convenience of a mage. But it seems a lot of people forsake them for spring water.
Too bad too many people got into my turf.
I had a decent fighter pawn on PS3 which got rented a few times. But apparently the pawn-system is bugged on PC right now
You should see it on console
Is anyone having stuttering problems that aren't related to the actual performance? Like my game just stutters and it's not like it's as if the game is giving my PC a hard time. It's almost as if it's lagging dude to connection problems.
I've just installed the game, but I'm not feeling it.
This never stopped being fun
Check my Freddie. Anything I should improve?
Post what you want to add and I'll add it.

>walk for another 20 minutes
>decide to check the internet on a whim if you can actually retry failed quests
>already saved after she died
If it's true, you don't get any notification that your pawn got rented, not even RC or any of that stuff.
I personally think there is a secret Masterpawn called Pepper Jack who steals my stuff.
I got the gold idol from a quest and I know it's used for something but not exactly what. Even searching on gameshit forums on the 360/ps3 boards just brings a bunch of begging threads when I tried to look
>6 skill warrior
That could be so fucking good.
I just woke up from a nap and am still ass ravaged about failing lost and found. TL:DR yeah, you'll probably fail a few quests.
Also there are rats somewhere, but I forget.
I wouldn't stress it too hard.
>You should see it on console
I mean... looking back on my old screenshots the game didn't look THAT bad honestly
I see they already have nude mods/texture mods and what not, no bandages, etc, but its still missing the most important mod of all.
Better bodies, larger breasts/booty.
Beautiful people, etc.
Give it to Masterworks when his quest appears.
Or Madeline if you want slutware.
And make a forgery since it gives you like a 20% discount keeping it in your inventory. Same with the Wyrm Hunt License.
guys what can i safely sell and what should i hold on to? im kinda lost
I used the same face I had on PS3
You can quit any escort quest you don't want to be on by just going back to the notice board and canceling it there.
>Am I using the item?
>Is my pawn using the item?
Than sell it.
Obviously there are some things you want to keep, like those weird orbs, the shards, your ferry waypoint teleporting magic stone gem diamond thing. I haven't been holding onto anything I don't need.
>tfw can't decide on a fucking class
The worst thing is, I worry I'm ditching each class too early to really enjoy one of them but I can't help myself. Mystic Knight felt like it had no real magic element and the little magic it did have, was boring as fuck. Hitting a floating orb is not all that fun. Magick Archer has been a bit more interesting but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the daggers. Sorcerer has no melee, so I don't want that. Fuck sake this is a pain in the arse.
He's my main pawn, I hid my character. I have tried to make him a whiney faggot whenever I sit down at an inn, so that explains their look.
>strolling around Gran Soren trying to find that FUCKING guy for the land retrieval quest
>walking down alleyway
>suddenly a large form is at the end of the alleyway
>walk towards him slowly
>it's a fucking giant warrior with a humongous greatsword
>timidly press 'e'
>JOHN CENA pawn, level 35
Not necessarily but hopefully yes. I'm just hoping someone makes a script that lets you make your own custom class basically.
6 slots and you can put any skill in them and use any weapon for them.
Might have some retarded combinations but mostly it would be cool as fuck.
Which vocation should I choose for my pawn?
My arisen is a strider that's going to become an MA.
I focused mostly on utilitarian stuff during the question thing.
Got it. I'll probably give it to jewtits for top slut since she already seems to focus on the classes I'm using.
Also the wyrm hunt license gives a discount? Should I forge that one too eventually?
I'm tempted at the minute. I was hoping I could do something mostly melee with a bit of a magic flourish, but the Mystic Knight was a great disappointment with it's magic cannon shit.
Low level BBI runs are fun, just running and grabbing loot and killing small stuff like goblins or leapworms but those fuckers still take up a lot. Leveled to 18 but now gotta fight the giant eye and I don't think that's going to happen.
A shot like this can't really be achieved in normal play. The camera works nicely due to freezing everything.
A bit bland looking, but I'm a very boring person
>mfw it works
time to run a magick archer with brain splitter
>told to meed sir maxamillion
>game puts quest marker on my map far as fuck up to the left
>venture to it
>die on the way there to like 7 fucking orange scale dudes
>spawn back in town
>find him just randomly standing around in the back
Why THE FUCK DOES IT DO THAT.
MK's staff skills are lacking yes but bro do you even perfect block?
Flame Riposte-ing a goblin or a bandit and blasting him back ten feet then blasting him midair with a gout of fire is fucking satisfying as fuck
I never found it all that satisfying. I want offensive skills, not defensive ones. Just suits the way I play better. I was hoping for shit like casting fire boon on my own sword or calling down a beam of light on some cunt. Rather than hidiing behind a shield every time someone looked at me in order to hit them with a fireball.
If I remember correctly, pressing the left stick in while charging switches between lock-on aiming and ground-target aiming. To aim at yourself, you click the left stick and cast over where you're standing.
>find midget pawn called MagicCuck
>have to hire him because his kit compliments my party well
Just use the screenshot tool. It's under "Share" when you enter the menu.
Here's a different angle.
I can't tell if that is a girl or a boy but that looks a lot like my arisen, nice.
My warrior duo is going to take on BBI and wreck the shit out of everything
>pawn never gets hired
>"well it's the middle of the night"
>decide to switch her to ranger since I play primarily melee
>vocation rank 1
>practically no skills
>know for a fact she won't get hired
>like casting fire boon on my own sword
You get that at rank 5 and it's called Fire Enchanter
>calling down a beam of light on some cunt
Not just a beam of light but you can call forth a straight up holy storm by rank 9 called Holy Glare
But then again you did say you tend to ditch classes early. So just wrangle in your ADD for a few hours and eventually you'll unlock the good shit.
Keep in mind that jewtits is only really "good" if you're playing mage or sorcerer, because those 2 classes already have jack shit for defense, and she sells some nice spellcaster items.
This will happen. You usually do fuckall for damage until you find a pawn that can buff you.
Most just make their own pawn to buff them, which is why the rift is constantly flooded with shitty mages.
Pawns from left to right: BDSM healslut, Zeus killer on roid, punching bag that cant punch nor being a bag.
Couldn't be bothered to spend much time on the character creator
>all these beta faggots postings pictures of their shitty pawns
More best girl for me I guess.
>He isn't playing the hit new RPG, Eyebrow and Mustache: Superstar Saga
How do you know when someone's used your pawn? Also I managed to fail a quest by completing another, should I just not bother with anything that seems like a main quest?
My Arisen is a dashing magician (parlor tricks n shit kind of magician) / womanizing rogue and my pawn is his magic black cat who can also transform into a human who's name is Kitty. I understand how autistic it is but i like it
First time playing.
>get to Gran Soren
>change to assassin cause it sounds cool
>suddenly get sword and shield skills which I don't want
>reinvest in dagger and bow
Am I doing it wrong lads?
tell pawn to engage instead of getting into fight yourself (f1).buff them and then spam spells. stock up on potions for both you and your pawns. try to remember alchemy bullshit.
Is it worth getting? I already own it for the PS3 but i never spent much time with it due to time and some annoyaces with how that letterbox thing was acting
Got a place where i can get it for 22eu.
Does it do shit any differently to warrant a purchase?
She's a literal slut and definitely used goods.
>not going for aelinore, knowing the duke is too much of a pussy whiny bitch who keeps crying over his dead beloved to even kiss the girl
>not going for mercedes, who's too busy with being a good soldier to worry about love
Only picture I've got, only did it because I wanted to check out the in game share option.
Kind of hard to see my amazon pawn, a little less difficult seeing my shota Arisen.
I got myself 3 followers and returned to the first village and the well had opened so I went in and now I found some lizard guys and they just wreck my shit, like whenever they touch me the whole screen flashes red and I get easily two shotted
Is this normal for the game or did I fuck up?
Special attack, tossing into large foes.
Once you get Gale Harness you will never look back at strider.
It not only increases your movment speed, but also attack speed and lasts relatively long while costing a trivial amount of stamina.
I only leveled strider for the augments, otherwise it's inferior to assassin in every single way.
okay who did this lel
also >tfw no one will hire sorcerer pawn
The first couple of quests are a bit difficult. you can actually lose a character in one other quest if you decide that going through 5 high level bandits isn't worth it.
Go to Gran Soren first, level up to about 15 along the way, then go back.
I know people complain about the over abundance of loli pawns with Type 6 voice but seriously, is there even another voice more fitting for them that doesn't make them sound like gerbils?
There. I changed it just for you, anon.
I actually changed it because my pawn was supposed to be Johan Liebert crossdressing as his sister Anna and I didn't want to spoil Monster for my friend.
>handmaiden says princess wants to meet me
>think it's some secret conspiracy shit that needs to be talked about in private
>turns out she just wants some Arisen dick which my Arisen doesn't even have
>duke barges into the room and tries to kill her
>save her worthless life
>she has me thrown in the dungeon
>can't even murder her in return
head to the encampment not that far away from Casardis. Avoid the Witchwood Road until you "beat the Cyclops and "beat" the Hydra. Then you get the quest from Mercedes to take the Hydra head to Gran Soren.
Really dude? i don't fuckin know. I just assumed when she changed into human form she would just use the most basic skin color of a human.
desu i don't like the look of dark skin on white looking people. i only use dark skin on dark skin looking people.
I made a loli pawn and I gave her the deepest amazoness voice
I don't recall ever turning them on. I've never even seen the option. Maybe I just haven't run into anyone with a name that's obviously not a moniker and they've been off all along.
I just bought the game, it's asking me to make my "main pawn", how does this work in regards to balance of the game? I intended to play alone assuming Pawns were an online or pseudo - co-op thing, is the game on Hard enjoyably difficult without a Pawn or are they basically necessary?
You'll get your shit pushed in by a Goblin at the start on hard mode if you're not careful of when you come in for an attack. You'll get one shotted by most things so having pawns is neccesary.
So is this game any good? I've heard mixed things
>you can have a black chick with dreads OC
You can't imagine how much of a plus this is for me
wow thanks I tried hitting the tails and it worked
Not only did they run around when their tails went off, I think some random Pawn I hired as tank learned about it, at some point the game slowed down and focused on him and he said "I'll draw their attention cut their tails" or something but there was only one left
That was fun
All the secondary weapons in this game feel extremely unsatisfying. I like bow the best but it feels really weak and status arrows only seem to really affect smaller enemies that you could kill easily anyways.
I'm almost tempted to let her die every time, but then I remember the quests where you rescue her later in that distant castle gives decent loot and exp so I just have to put up with her shit.
>tfw can't have this and ps3 button mod at the same time
At least the guy said he'd make a merged file later. But when is later?
Yes, you fucking need all your pawns on hard mode. Without them you'll probably lack access to elemental damage, the ability to hold a monster still while you wail on it, and anyone to save you from grab attacks. At the very least you need them to keep monsters from aggroing onto you and only you because if that happens you're basically fucked.
Ogre AI is a bit naff. That combined with their attack being random flailing and dropkicks means the often throw themselves off ledges.
Ogres are actually quite a tough enemy to fight when they aren't committing suicide.
They have a backflipping suplex move when you or a pawn try climbing on its back as well.
My first experience with the Ogre had him backflip off the edge of the everfall with one of my rental pawns on his back. The entire way down you could hear her crying from the bottom of the pit. Shit was fucking hilarious.
on the other hand though Hard mode throws giant bags of money at you from almost every enemy,so you can buy gear pretty quickly and upgrade some of it fully if you have the right materials. Just remember to save often and buy lots of healing items if you wanna solo on hard.
how do i edit my pawn without spending 5000 riftbux? My arisen is a sexy beast but my pawn has a weak chin.
<spoiler>don't say postgame</spoiler>
Me and my healer
bitch looks so much prettier than me god damnit
My pawn had 10k vocation points before I realised you had to buy skills for them.
>more than half of the thread is filled with burly bearded dudes
Don't sell anything. You can enhance the gear on some vendors. You can't believe which kind of shit the gear requires to be improved, and it's good for you to enhance your equipment as later on when you are strong enough to kill dragons, once they ide you get a random 3 star gear dragonforged, which is the best enhancement a gear can get, and you can make it even stronger if you enchance it further on the BitterBlack island with the guy there, can't remember his name.
>See that cyclops in the distance
>looks like he is fighting something
>suddenly he just jumps into the abyss
Would you send me moldy twigbeans, /v/?
Quick question, what's this blue meme on my map? is it just BBI?
>not really enjoying it as much as I thought
>switch to Assassin
>now I enjoy using the bow a lot
Damn you DD. Longbows are fucking sexy weapons. But I need that melee action.
Uhh, what the heck? I never asked for this?!
>it's a fucking dragon
How fucked am I?
I hired two guys at level 6, now I'm level 8 or 9 or so, but they haven't gained, only my main pawn has gained
Do I need to go back to that encampment and dismiss them to find new ones every time I level up?
Customization is pretty good though, that's why 90% of these threads are people posting their stupid pawns and characters ad-naseum.
I've seen the same screenshots of the same characters like twenty times over the course of several threads. Fucking play the game and stop shilling your mediocre character creations, you fucks.
Anyone know if there are elbow length white gloves for a mage in the game?
>scroll down skills
Every time. I wonder if people will look at my mage and think it's shit because I only really have fire spells even though it's pretty much all you need pre-dragon.
Doubly so since I don't plan to upgrade anodyne.
never used cheat engine before. don't need to spoonfeed but could you just point me in the right direction?
My arisen, too bad he'll be ruined by my loli Saber pawn.
Fuck you, I'll be as weeb as I wanna be.
Strider is pretty damn fun but i wanna go Guts mode, but my autism keeps me from switching since i only have one rank left before it's maxed.
Dude, Riftbux is easy to get. Just do those quests from the Pawn guild, which you pick up in the basement. Names have Sky in it or something. You just pick some medallions up from various places for easy Riftbux. Like, at least 1k per medallion
Whenever I wanted to reset my appearance for free on PS3, I'd switch the difficulty to hard mode then switch back.
You have to restart the story/BBI, but I did this at the point where I'd already been through two NG+ and finished BBI. I was pretty much just fucking around by then.
Honestly, I think I'll go back and start a new save. I've run a warrior character from start to finish, as well as a Sorceror/Mystic archer. Maybe it's time to give Assassin/Ranger a try.
She looks like a qt peasant, a qt i as the count would reclame from their parents to turn into my sex slave.
Yeah, seems I have no real choice. I accidentally triggered him once already and he cleaned the forest floor with our blood.
Jumping onto his backside was about 3 seconds of false hope before he threw me off than one shotted me.
Fuck I hope I can make it around him.
I personally love white/silver hair and I wanted to make a brown arisen
Does she looks cute yet? I'm in need of advice to make her look better, please
Sword, Daggers, bow, long bow, magic bow, 2 handed swords, warhammers, 1 handed maces, staffs and sorc staff. I think that's all of them.
It's pretty much exactly the same as swords. Mostly just a reskin. Has a few unique skills I think though.
Summon and rate Ayy Lmaoski pls need rift crystals will heal
>tfw you face a FUCKING BEHOLDER and there ain't shit you can do, you just overwrote your save
Been mostly taking screenshots while doing things for comparison and referential things. One of the few I like, but not very good as a close up shot.
On an unrelated note, sunsets look brilliant with a few graphical tweaks, I must say. Maximum comfy.
I like my pawn but I feel like my Arisen is a bit generic when I tried so hard for him to not be. Ohh well always hard mode.
Dat shit looks GOAT nigga. It's the contrast between dark and light.
It's also why pale girls look best with jet black hair.
Do those enb's and sweetfx or whatchamacallits impact performace a lot? I mostly just want it for some more vivid colurs since DD has a tendency to look a bit washed out. But my game ain't exactly running at 500+fps. Just mostly stable 60.
just get the afro and any kind of face hair
I've changed my hairstyle so many times but the afro keeps coming back.
What drivers are you using?
Have you notched that sometimes when you start running the game will issue like a random pawn command?
Not sure why that happens. But it's pretty annoying since I don't want my inclinations to get fucked.
Summons are bugged friend. You don't get anything even if your pawn gets summoned. No items, no notifications, nothing.
Your pawnfu is fucking everyone behind your back and not telling you about it.
That looks better than I thought it would reading the discription.
I started my Arisen with a full beard and a mohawk making him look like some Madmax Viking type shit. But I grew to annoyed looking at that damn mohawk and made myself look like a dashing rapey rouge intead.
Running everything maxed out (non 4k) with FXAA3 (not HQ3) and this ENB (https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/5000/) on a fairly middle of the road setup. I've an I5 / 2gb 650TI with 8 gb of ram, and haven't come into any drops in performance whatsoever. I don't think the ENB affects anything with the game; it merely tweaks some already defined values to alter the look slightly. I really like how vibrant everything seems.
Another comparison. Don't have any decent daytime outdoor shots that really show off the differences.
Easy fix. Download DS4windows and the xbox drivers that are included with it, go under device manager and disable all controllers until you only have the xbox controller (it's a trial and error process), visit /vg/ and go to the dragons dogma general and under their mod section their should be "ps4 controller interface" or something like that. Install it and you should be all set. It's not as complicated as it sounds but works exactly as you'd like it to.
If your male Arisen isn't nicknamed "Mega Man", you're doing it wrong.
It's what I'm using as well. So you haven't had any problems with random commands being issues?
Maybe my good old DS3 is just starting to grow a bit old and is getting some alzheimers.
Go for it; I tried playing the game without any tweaks, but I got tired of the washed out look everything has, even in the middle of the day. Adding that ENB makes it seem more... fantasy-esque(?) I guess; makes the need to carry a lamp more important, which is what bugged me about playing it on consoles way back when. Running around in the dark, I could still see everything perfectly fine, even though the pawns would yell and moan about being ambushed or that they couldn't see.
>not liking Dragon's Dogma
I can't fathom that there are actually people with taste as shitty as that. How completely devoid of all joy do you have to be to not like DD? What kind of videogames does a person like that even like?
I kinda regret that I half-assed making my pawn.
Are there any good mods that are out?
So i hear people say you need to level sorc from 100 to 200 for a semi decent magick archer.
How do you grind those 100 levels, is there a glitch or something , i don't see it being possible in the main game.
>Make Griffith Arisen
There is nothing you can do to stop me now
In post game you can buy and item to endless reedit your Arisen and pawn, before that there's a one use item. You buy it where you learned to summon pawns, in the encampment outside Cassardis. There's also a barber shop in Gran Soren.
No no from 1 to 100. That is the only time stat growth matters. Once you hit 100 you can pretty much do whatever you want. Dear lord don't play sorc for 200 levels you will bore yourself to tears.
Do not listen to anyone who says you need to min-max, you do not need to worry about that shit since most of your stats come from equipment and augments
Only play Mage and Sorc long enough to get the Magic Attack augments, that's it
Magick Archer is OP no matter what
>kill a cyclopes
>it drops two eyes
You can keep your used goods, forrest loli witch is superior.
Madeline sells pantsu/stockings/thigh-high boots once she gets her shop so try there.
Also there's an all-female bandit camp way far to the northwest where you can find a silk thong.
I cant find a way to take a good screenshot, she keeps turning away
in a minute
Sorry for the link, on mobile right now.
