This is why instead of pre-ordering, I'll wait for the sale of the complete edition.
Are these unlockable in game or are they pre-order incentives?
They're just DLC costumes you get with preorders.
>Why do horror games feel the need to make me masturbate now?
It's not horror games, it's Japanese games. It's all fucking Japanese games.
Those people are incapable of making a game without putting wank material for lonely virgins in it.
this delicious exposed midriff is honestly too much for my dick, I will struggle to play this since I just want to lick her delicious belly button night and day.
It baffles me. Like, what, we filled 90% of the internet with sluts doing everything you can imagine, and made it available to you at the click of your mouse, but that somehow isn't ENOUGH?
I just don't understand why it is they need to try to bait out quick fap from their titles.
Like, to me all it says is that the game is clearly not good enough to stand on its own. At all.
>Sex and murder are two best companions.
Complete bullshit stemming from the crappy slashers of the 80s and perpetuated by modern horror hacks. Almost as stupid as Sam Raimi's opinion that slapstick is an intrinsic component of horror.
cheerleader and wolf force are pre-order bonus. Cody, Sports Wear and Nurse are dlc. Other unlocked by completing campaign.
That Billy second costume is fogorten worlds or Mercs reference?
>stupidly overblown tits
What a load of shit.
so which one of you is going to be the girl?
I never played it but I thought the general consensus was that Zero sucked? Why would they even bother remastering it? Are the skimpy costumes going to be the only thing this going to be good for?
google nude jill by matteo
I wish someone made an actual good nude mod. instead of being full nude have Jill In ripped up uniform with one tit hanging out and the other side has her nip showing, torn up pants too but no vag since it always looks weird as shit in nude mods
It's what led the series into being about a team of best friends that hunt the crazy people that want to take over the world with the power of biochemistry. That's enough for some people. It also had the worst abuses of "puzzles" and backtracking in the series. Steve goes without saying. On the other hand, the choice to make the game more creepy and weird as we got to know Umbrella could have been interesting if it was handled a little better, such as actually seeing things go to shit. It's a game that might be salvageable if they did an ambitious REmake-style remake where they rewrite many finer points of the game to better sell the premise.
Isn't there a Umbrella costume as well? Something about Wesker being playable but in his RE5 style?
I always thought that might be neat with these remakes. Like beating the game unlocks a different mode where you play the game over the shoulder with the later games free aiming.
It was a sad day when the servers shut down, every run was different.
Mark and David ending is best, fix a tank and go out in style as the city is bombed.
They have private servers, need to use the Japanese version and patch it for the server and English, small community but still magical gameplay, works on emulator too.
That's more like it.
Like that famous one for Zoey in L4D?
I getcha anon, it should be done more often.
Is there a proper timeline for Resident Evil/ Biohazard games?
Especially if one were to pick up the whole series?
It seems they have different art styles and play styles depending on the period. And there has to be retcons here and there.
Oh look people who never played zero, how contrarian +1 like.
No one ever said it sucked, very few people got to play it as it was exclusive to GC and hard to get hold of.
Playing zero then going right into rebirth is the best resident evil experience.
STARS 1997 is the only one worth getting, so I see no problem with this.
Start with umbrella chronicles 1 & 2, pretty much light gun versions of the earlier games, then do 4, 5 and 6.
Spin offs like outbreak or revelations happen between numbers entries
>unlock her photo in RE 2 way back in the day
>waifu ever since
Short hair and flat/small chest girls are best girls.
Would Leon have eventually made S.T.A.R.S if they were still around when he was supposed to join the RPD?
Or would he have just been a beat cop the rest of his career if not for the outbreak?
Where do the movies come in?
And what happened to 3 in your list?
Umbrella Chronicles 1 and 2 are RE1 and 2 remakes?
>Spin offs like outbreak or revelations happen between numbers entries
What about those old games like Code Veronica on Dreamcast? Worth?
Sorry about all the questions anon. RE is all over the place for me.
>We will never see what happened to her post racoon city
Maybe she'll show up in revelations 3?
or 8, which ever.
And we know there's gonna be another one. Revelations 2's ending(s) made it pretty obvious.
I think that wasn't the worst problem with the game, it's the fact having 2 characters in the same screen is asking for the retarded IA to waste all of your ammo. That means you should play most of the time with just one character and leave the other one in a save room. Making exploring twice as long and very boring.
Movies are a separate universe to the games, don't bother with them at all unless you are curious, they are terrible movies
Umbrella chronicals 1 and 2 goes through re0, 1, 2, 3 and code Veronica and sets up some back story to 4 and 5,
>Movies are a separate universe to the games
Except for the two CG movies, degeneration and damnation
I see. It makes perfect sense that way. I've always neglected RE and would like to get into the series some time.
I know there are movies, the original games, superior versions of the original games, HD remasters and remakes of those, and then sequels.
Its kind of hard to get into.
Also kind of surprised RE fanbase doesn't have a chart like Zelda or SMT.
Will look out for this game for now.
>not setting ai as passive
>not using your C-pad to use both charcters at the same time
You can play both off the same controller. I often wondered if Zero was supposed to be co-op
Is code veronica worth playing? Also what other games are true to the old actual horror genre? I can't stomach 4 and after, it's just garbage games.
Tomboys are a good though.
I think it's just that the short and flat combo makes a girl cute, where as long hair and big breasts would be considered hot.
Meaning that it's just rather you prefer cute to hot, and in our cases we peer cute, and the short/flat-small combo meets the criteria for being visually pleasing to us
Unless you know the game beforehand that is not a good option. It should be the only way to move both characters when you must have both on screen but doing that while exploring is just going to frustrate you whenever two or more zombies are on screen.
only 0 and 1 have HD remasteres now so substitute those for the originals, everything else play the original, re4 is literally on every system. don't worry about anything else until you finish the mainline series.
>Is code veronica worth playing?
I tried playing it but I gave up after like an hour or 2 because of how stupid all the characters were and how I wanted to brutally murder them all myself.
Yeah, Code Veronica is worth playing for sure.
Leon is always worth it.
Leon is love. Leon is life.
>Is code veronica worth playing?
definitely. it's old re. it's great. fucking long game though. i like to be able to finish my re in one sitting, cos im a superstar down at the cracker factory
There isn't a strict storyline uniting everything. The most unified are the numbered games. Code: Veronica was a game finished in the million years it took to make RE4 so it's got the production quality of a numbered game but without a number. No future game acknowledges it. It's design quality is dubious. Revelations is a newer subseries for mobiles that got a lot of attention for being slower-paced and creepier so it's been upgraded to a second full series. Everything else isn't worth considering except for fanboy novelty.
Leon was being hired on as a SWAT officer because STARS was shut down. After the Mansion Incident the STARS were considered disgraced.
That's why I say just play umbrella chronicals 1 & 2, so you don't need to deal with all the different versions of the early games.
Then 4, 5 & 6 to be caught up story wise.
If you want to know what happens between numbers entries then you play the spin offs.
Outbreak takes place before 2 and finishes slightly after 3. It sets up those games. Such as the RPD falling and Murphy being bit.
Revelations 1 is between 4 and 5.
Revelations 2 is between 5 and 6.
I meant exploring with both characters on screen. Having both in different rooms is better because the radio gives you time to deal with both situations more easily.
The IA might be retarded, but the enemies are still bullet sponges unless you know what you are doing.
Some anons don't like tank controls of the older games, the umbrella chronicals games are fun lightgun games, plus you got the chapters with wesker escaping raccoon city and the Leon and Krauser backstory
the people that don't whine about tank controls in re are the same crowd that complains that you can't move while shooting and do sick commando rolls while dropping grenades.
the kind of underage halfwit that doesn't like chess because none of the pieces are fighter jets.
Unlockable sexy costumes have always been a staple of survival horror.
Oh. Didn't know it was for SWAT. He just always mentioned as a "Rookie Cop" so I just assumed it was to just to be an extra beat cop patrolling Racoon City when everything was first starting to go to hell.
>mfw you can get Regina's DC outfit in 3
>Outbreak 1&2 will never get a remake for current gen
>You will never play them online again
>tfw I never got to when it was active but people talk about how fun it was
You mean when she said "when are we going to continue from that night?" or something like that when they first ran into each other?
If that's it, I just assumed she meant when the kissed in RE2.
But it's been awhile since I watched it, so I might have missed if there was something about a hotel.
Yeah, it was fun when I had played it on ps2. Sometimes they would be someone dressed in the doctor costume, and it would be him that did all the puzzles while everyone else brought him items and protected him.
There's this scene
Where asks "when they're going to carry on from that night?"
But that's probably from the second game when Leon kissed her.
So out of all the characters in RE, Leon and Chris would be considered the main characters right?
Chris was at ground zero (until RE 0 came along anyways) for the series, killed veronica, killed Wesker, is a founder of the BSAA, and leads teams on missions around the world.
Leon has had resident evil 2, 4, 6, Darkside chronicles if you want to count it's main story, got the message about Claire to Chris in CV, somehow knows who Wesker is in 4 despite never actually meeting him, founded (according to the wiki) and is part of the D.S.O , and has had 2 canon movies.
Who else has had this kind of screen time or Reputation in the series?
>somehow knows who Wesker is in 4 despite never actually meeting him
This always bugged me.
And he says to Ada "It's true. You, working for Wesker."
Like he knows everything about Wesker. The only way it could possibly make sense is if Chris told Leon about him sometime after Code Veronica sense that's the first time we know of those two interacting, with Leon telling Chris where she was and that Umbrella was watching him.
Which also begs the question, why wasn't Umbrella watching Leon as well?
>why wasn't Umbrella watching Leon as well?
you expect a grossly incompetent organization who genuinely thought experimenting with zombies was a good idea to make good decisions?
so I heard they would tone down the violence for the re-release or something along those lines
will this affect this qt getting ripped apart limb by limb by zombies? because that's a deal-breaker for me
Shame we will never see Rebecca in a new game. The Raccoon Forest incident took place in 1998. She is somewhere between 36-40 by now. Our cute tomboy girl has grown up into a woman.
Are you talking about Resident Evil 3? Dino Crisis 3 was in space. That being said, roads like that aren't unheard of in America. If you go to city districts or suburbs that were built around a century ago or earlier, you will see roads that size.
>She is somewhere between 36-40 by now.
Or maybe the game doesn't have to be set in 2016.
I have a C2D toaster too and REmake ran flawlessly, why wouldn't this?
If you are experiencing some slowmo with REmake, check out the pc wiki page, there is a dx9 dll file that fixes that shit lad.
>tfw only care for the Prototype and STARS 1997 costumes
I only cared for BSAA Jill in REmake Remaster as well.
What has feminism done to me?
>cigarette for no apparent reason
Into the trash it goes.
Something more along these lines is what isn't as common now.
Potato quality but you get the idea.
