There is nothing wrong with drawing waifus, porn, cute or husbandos, as long as the artist treats the subject with respect and at least tries to challenge and experiment. Just drawing stuff at all should never ever be discouraged.

If you want to see a change, request something different and encourage more than one to do it and frankly that's all you can do. If you at least manage to get one to do your request be sure to thank that person.
Improving your art is a different subject all together and that is frankly no one else but the artist that burden falls on. If the artist is a lazy piece of shit that won't improve there is nothing you can do really.
