Drive was a bit slow at first, but once it changed gears it ended up becoming one of my top favorites.

My only complaint about drive was that the suit designs were about 90% awful (Base Mach and Drive being the exceptions. Formula was sub par.)
Dead Heat looked bad on both Mach and Drive, Rider Chaser looked mediocre, Formula was eh at best, and the crossover between Chase and Mach was literally "LET'S THROW ONE PIECE OF MACH'S SUIT ONTO THE CHASE SUIT" "GENIUS"
The only good weapon Chase had as his Roidmude form was Spider. Cobra was awful as hell. Bat was okay, but it was more of an SFX thing.

Drive was kinda slow, but it did play very nicely, in my opinion. I came into the series not being all that hyped about it, but by the end, I loved Brain, Heart, Chase, Mach, Drive, and Belt-san.

Well we already know Ghost is just going to be another OOO so he's immediately garbage unless his base form is absolutely amazing. We also know Baron is getting Mango as a normal form switch and I think Lemon is going to be his new hyper, I can't completely recall.

From what we've seen of the Showa Riders they might actually be able to combo worth a damn and do decent damage to a boss so that's a relief.

I'm expecting them to leave horrendously bad characters like Ryuki, Den-O, Kabuto, Kiva, OOO, Fourze, Gaim, Beast, Birth, Zangetsu Shin, and Accel exactly as they are with maybe two of them getting a single move change that doesn't improve them any way like they did in 2 with Ryuki and Kiva.

New mooks they add are no doubt going to be even worse than all the Mages and Worms/Natives littering the stages so that's sure as hell going to be fun in an enclosed space, and at best we get like eight new stages but we only revisit one of them while they rehash the old levels all over again.

To be fair, Lion, Elephant, and Shark look nice in-suit. It seems like it has a feel of Den-O, and if they manage to bring that wacky/serious mix back and into a Sentai season, I would personally enjoy it. I dunno how I feel about the furries being protags though, but also having human transformations on top of then also being able to have suit transforms.

Depends. If you like J drama, older series are probably more to your taste. If you want fun justice time, some of the new series are good. The current, Ghost, is shit, and isn't finished. Drive before that was pretty good, but at little slow to start, and half his forms are shit design. Gaim is absolutely amazing once it picks up, but takes even longer to pick up than drive. The designs and motifs are wierd at first but it's literally 10/10 show. Wizard before that was shit, don't watch it. Fourze before that was great, a great entry series. OOOs before that was ok, starts off hard and fast but slows down near the middle. W before that is probably the best starter, simple formulaic episode format, but great characters and story.

If you can't he's by far the worst secondary.

I feel like the problem with Wizard was the way they went about their plot development.
Its first couple episodes seemed promising. But then it was all "Hey we have a promising story, a bit edgy, but it should show that everyone has darkness inside them, and everyone's past can make or break them." at first, but then like, 20 episodes in, it just shifted to "LET ME BE AS FLASHY AS POSSIBLE AND OH MY GOD WHERE'S MY BABY GIRL I HAVE TO SHOW OFF MY FLASHY MOVES FOR HER"
Then they're like "Shit, we messed up guys, what do we do, the plot's gone completely awful and we lost the original writer for this." So someone just goes "Throw Beast in there with his antics! He should be able to save the show because stuff like Den-O worked like that!"
So Beast was a bit of a change of pace, but they still screwed it up and stuck to the "I'M WORTHLESS WITHOUT THE ONE I'M MEANT TO PROTECT A BLOO BLOO BLOO" script.
