The Red 9 with stock has effectively the same accuracy as the Blacktail.

It's less about DPS and more about inventory space. The Red 9 is larger even without the stock, so it's like three stacks of bullets you could be carrying instead, not to mention the higher capacity.

There is a 30 and a 60 fps port; the 60 fps has some janky animations and stuff because the game wasn't designed for 60 originally, but there might be more mods floating around for 30.
Also i think 60 fps doesn't allow you to remap your controller, whereas you can in 30 but that's through .ini editing iirc.

Never bothered with KBM, assumed it'd be garbage.

Just grab both of a torrent site, the game is pretty small for modern standards

Just in case you didn't know, even though the Wii version doesn't officially support the GC controller, you can still plug it in and play with it, but all the prompts will assume you're using the classic controller, so you have to remember which button does what in each controller.

Use shotgun on fodder. Save you handgun ammo and grenades for him. The first one I just blow up with grenades, the second one I run like a bitch to a ceiling and just unload my handgun on him; I lose my combo in the process but I still get 5 stars.
