Well, I see that the President has equipped his daughter with ballistics.
It's just mandatory to post this picture.
The thread may carry on.
>American cop goes into strangers house without warrant
>kills owner for defending himself in his own house
Haven't you been reading the news m8? That's how the land of the free operates
>QTE TO RESPOND TO KRAUSER'S ONE-LINERS
Let's all go out for some frosty chocolate milkshakes.
The Red 9 is more accurate and more efficient with ammo. The Blacktail only really has it beat in straight DPS, but if that's what you want you shouldn't be using a handgun.
I can see the appeal of the TMP and I like it when I use it in the extra content, but I just don't have room for it in my case.
why didnt capcom milk the merchant in the sequels? He's very popular
>flash grenading the huge pile of crows at the place where you'll fight el gigante
>grenading the room with a bunch of cultist worshiping before they can escape
RE has an extreme aversion to returning characters other than Chris and Leon, and to a lesser extent Jill. Barry and Claire went over a decade without an appearance, Sherry randomly returned after 15 years absence, Rebecca still hasn't been in a game since RE0 in 2002, etc.
Also nearly all the games since about RE3 seem to introduce a new supporting cast and then ignore them in future games.
Carlos, Billy, Sheva, Ashley, Jessica. Helena/Jake from RE6 will probably not return in any future games too. Steve gets a pass due to the handicap of being dead.
Ignore Barry in the pic, it was made before Rev 2
I think that has to do with how dramatically the series changes hands. Carlos, for example, cannot exist in a post-RE5 setting because he was going to be Jill's spicy cabana boy, now Chris is her battle lover. Many of these characters cannot coexist, either because of story or tone.
default broken butterfly
knife as much as i can
thats how i play after i got gud
>first time shootin dynamite as soon as villagers throw it
its like i discovered the holy grail
Would there be a point to remaking Code Veronica? It'd need a total rehaul because of all the dumb bullshit and clear signs of being rushed and padding for time. I love the idea of remaking the old-style REs, but it'd probably be the most ambitious.
It just requires a lot of reposition and laser pinpoint, but the invisible element with the sound of them running on water is cool, also acid.
You can actually shoot down the hive with normal guns right? How much will it take?
Its pronounced "Muere" you underaged faggot that has been a faggot since an hour ago.
I meant the third room, where they come in mass numbers (half aren't flying either).
First room is fine, 2nd is... okay. They just start a little too close. And it takes... well, I can't recall the correct amount of damage, but it's worth it if you've got plenty (even on professional since you can upgrade ammo shortly afterwards).
Anyone know how save transfer from Wii to WiiU works? I heard some bad stuff like deleting all your current wiiu data, but I'd love to play the wii version again.
Or is it possible to use the remote on PC?
Let's see, the 1st room has invisible bugs, the 2nd is the one within the cave while the 3rd is where Ashley got kidnapped? I think grenades help a lot in this case.
>Like, "not even worth it in the long run" tier
But I want to complete my butterfly lamp
>prob blew the fuck up with saddler
d-don't say that anon, he is alive
My face when all the help pilots.
Is there any more dangerous occupation in the RE world?
Hell even the female no name FBC pilot in Rev 1 gets wrecked by that huge tentacle monster.
The Red 9 with stock has effectively the same accuracy as the Blacktail.
It's less about DPS and more about inventory space. The Red 9 is larger even without the stock, so it's like three stacks of bullets you could be carrying instead, not to mention the higher capacity.
I thought Capcom uses that excuse to explain why Leon suddenly becomes stronger in later RE, like in Degeneration he took a hit from tyrant and still parkour, in Damnation again he tanked a punch from Mr X but there's no real damage
RE4 is more action thriller than horror, I don't think the designs are scary, also no zombie, well technically there's enemy looks like zombie, they have really weird laugh whenever they see you
>The first time you see the plagas come out of the heads of the ganados is burned into my memory, it scared the fuck out of me.
I totally overlooked the TMP because shitty damage per bullet, but it's actually godlike for ammo conservation because you can fit so many shots into such a small inv space and it only takes one bullet to remove major tapas.
>see plagas burst out of some dudes head
>kill it fairly easily
>not really scared of them, think they're just theyre for the scare factor
>get my head sliced clean off with zero warning after getting a little too close to one of them
>play the game just a little bit slower from then on
man, RE4 was really fucking good
>finding out flashbangs instakill plagas
>pick flash grenade
>cheap, little to no damage, can only stun enemies for a few seconds
>sell them whenever I see the guy with blue flame
>find out flash grenade can kill crows and plagas head
Hello there armor knights
12 hours on Normal because i kept restarting when I died
rushed through seperate ways
going through pro now
What's your playtime?
I didnt know this until i saw my friends brother replaying it like...4 years after i initially played it
i always wondered what happened if you attacked him. I thought he would turn into some big boss monster or something
>it doesn't work in RE6
What a disappointment. Among other things.
>End up with a hoard of treasure at the end
>Get the anti-whatever this >>324119445 monster is called scope
>It's Rifle only
>Only rocking Handgun/Shotgun/Magnum
>After dying in that room I ignore it and have to flashbang and juke my way through all encounters with them
I don't know if that's a good design decision or a bad one.
>shoot small fish on the peir before giant fish monster boss
>He flies out of the lake and insta-eats you
Isn't the pic difference because some Health Organization (Red Cross maybe, can't be arsed to research) actually has a copyright on the use of a red cross? Re-releases of Doom have changes in their health packs too.
Love that shotgun for the fast handling. I'd say lose that rifle though in favor of the Semi-Automatic Rifle because it blows the Bolt Action out of the water. TMP is fun but shit in my opinion. Broken Butterfly is bro-tier and FREE so good choice.
Probably already mentioned but:
>Fighting Krauser for the 7000th time.
>Ready to destroy my PS2
>Try knifing him
>easy as fuck
The nest gives a guaranteed ONE blue eye drop, meaning it isn't too hard to complete the other set, especially if you farm the underground spawn area
>run past all of them, mashing A to insta kick them and activate the gate unlock switches
>run to the crushing tunnel, turn around and use whatever gun to pick them off as they can't enter the tunnel due to custom invisible walls
What is it about RE4 that makes it so much fun to play even over a decade after its release?
RE4 threads are always fun and comfy. Everyone has nothing but praise for the games.
But RE5 and RE6 threads? Lots of anger and shitposting within.
>Doing Mercenaries 20 times
>Getting all the bottlecaps
It's just fun and has good atmosphere.
Only thing that could be better is
>increased ammo drop rates for magnum & mine thrower, even higher drop rate for every type of weapon you don't own, thus at it's highest when going solo with them
>very slight increase in shotgun ammo drops, flame & regular grenades
>fix enemy reinforcement spawn points to be less retarded, possibly fewer enemies as well for certain rooms (like the fucking canyon and light puzzle novistador room)
Bottlecaps isn't hard at all, but I still have never unlocked the handcannon.
Not gonna shit fling in detail but RE4 is a much better game, full of tiny small things that show and actual attempt and effort to make a genuinely great game; the other two feel like a marketing team was making at lot of the directorial decisions.
Also it's a game where you can throw eggs at monsters and shoot rockets at fish, it's just fun.
>mfw getting five stars with all characters in all stages of mercenaries and unlocking the handcannon in the GC version.
>In Professional mode enemies drop no ammo, only herb and gold
>After QTE battle Leon took Krauser's knife, more damage and range
>More blue medallions for later stages
>Infinite ammo upgrade for every weapon
Is it changed in the other ports?
fuck yeah 5 star club too
>kbm working good in anything besides FPS, RTS, and Sims
There is a 30 and a 60 fps port; the 60 fps has some janky animations and stuff because the game wasn't designed for 60 originally, but there might be more mods floating around for 30.
Also i think 60 fps doesn't allow you to remap your controller, whereas you can in 30 but that's through .ini editing iirc.
Never bothered with KBM, assumed it'd be garbage.
Just grab both of a torrent site, the game is pretty small for modern standards
i played it with kbm
it's good but the game uses a laser pointer to aim the gun and the pointer wavers to simulate unsteady aim... just an FYI
i havent started a Pro run but i did good on a normal run
didnt witness any problems on 60 fps
Just in case you didn't know, even though the Wii version doesn't officially support the GC controller, you can still plug it in and play with it, but all the prompts will assume you're using the classic controller, so you have to remember which button does what in each controller.
fuck you nigga
>tfw syrup nigger
>tfw never having to lock my door
Feels nice to live without fear.
this part is just after the minigun room where you get a rocket launcher, if I remember correctly. If I have enough inventory space I usually keep it just to splatter that fucker all over the walls
>Mercenaries mode has significantly less Ganados to fight
>easily break the 120,000 barrier with all characters in the GC version
>PS2 version average out at 70 to 90,000.
Fuck I hate the PS2 version. Much harder to unlock the handcannon in it.
It's too far away, I usually buy one at the merchant right before the fight (if I feel too lazy to do the actual fight, that is.)
>mfw rocket launcher one-hits Salazar
Red9 due to coolness/damage.
Punisher is useful because it goes through shields.
Otherwise just stockpile 3 flame grenades to eat though the chiefs 1st form health and store flashbangs.
just a reminder that Ada Wong is canon best girl
Make them climb over stuff, windows and other wooden barricades, their climbing animation is really slow, so you can load them up with bullets while they're doing that, knock them down with shotgun too.
Anyone else restart just before you die? I don't want my number of deaths to increase, and I had it in my head that if you restarted instead of dying, it wouldn't decrease the diffculty. I have no idea if it is actually true.
Hate the way they made Leon look in RE6 btw, much preferred it when he was prettier than the girls.
Use shotgun on fodder. Save you handgun ammo and grenades for him. The first one I just blow up with grenades, the second one I run like a bitch to a ceiling and just unload my handgun on him; I lose my combo in the process but I still get 5 stars.
Get up near the rope swing so you can see the prompt when your not aiming, then lob grenades at him and fill him full of bullets, escape on the swing if he gets too close, rise and repeat.
You haven't seen anything until you've tried Desperate Escape with an AI. I think it may be impossible to complete before you ragequit from all the dumb stuff. Either the AI can't handle tense combat or they literally gave the niggest nigger the worst AI on purpose.
