Oni Deponia MGSV EYE (though it started out alright I guess) FEAR 2 Serious Sam series REmake Etrian Odyssey 4 (haven't played the others) Megaman Star Force 1 and 2 (people say the third is the best but I haven't played it and the series at its core is a downgrade of Battle Network) Professor Layton prequel trilogy
>>324059315 I was determined to finish it so that I could make a well informed complaint. I was on the fence with the game, but when the griffon flew off to that huge tower in the distance and I had to run all the way over there... I was like "yeah this is cool this is hardcore... no wait, I hate this."
The game has a lot of promise. I imagine just avoiding slowdown on PC will be a major gameplay improvement. Probably modding in a ton of fast travel crystals will help people like the game more.
Dragons Dogma 2 could be a legit great game. I would really like a lock on function as well.
>>324058198 Eh, I enjoyed it, the art design was fantastic, but the control scheme was just jacked up and hurt what fun could've been found in the combat. THere was no reason why it couldn't have played like a traditional FPS. had it done so, it probably could've been one of my favorite games ever.
I lost my save right before i went to get fusion cannon and quit. Probably 2nd or 3rd time in over 15 years of game playing that a mem card corrupted on me.
>>324059672 Who in the fuck actually thought this game was fun? Jak and Daxter had such good level design and was so much fun to play. This was the point where naughty dog officially screwed the pooch.
Crisis Core was shit. The gameplay was terrible, every character original to it was a poorly written and unnecessary addition to the series' plot, the ending totally missed the entire point of the original scene, and the missions were repetitive grindy bullshit with a rare (bad) boss battle.
Zack and his interactions with Yuffie/Cloud, plus seeing Sephiroth as a normal dude, were the only good parts.
>>324060043 The only good sections were the few bits that mimicked the first game. It amazes me how shit the GTA elements were.
>>324060253 Jak 3's alright. Jak 2 just has alot of shitty level design, poorly placed checkpoints, and unfair difficulty spikes. If the game was going to be as hard as it was it could have benefitted from a manual lock on feature.
>>324059580 >I was on the fence with the game, but when the griffon flew off to that huge tower in the distance and I had to run all the way over there... I was like "yeah this is cool this is hardcore... no wait, I hate this." You actually could've killed it right there
>>324057793 I tried playing it last week didn't really feel it either anon >>324058092 Souls is pretty overrated in general >>324058198 First one is the only one i played too much backtracking. >>324058519 nah man Dragons dogma is great >>324058678 overrated as fuck but not bad >>324059234 You're crazy anon, this game holds up alright and you should totally understand why everyone loves it when you play it >>324060149 agreed >>324060691 I forced myself to play through this last year. And yea it's fun once you realise how big the game is and all the stuff it did for videogames. you must appreciate it at least for that. >>324061716 objectivly wrong
The worst part of VN's and Western RPGs all in one neat little package. This game was apallingly boring. I'm amazed at how many faggots fellate the idea of this game every single day in every single thread. Arcanum at least had a combat system worth a shit.
>>324062135 well it's not RE4s fault that other devs also adapted the worst parts... >>324062253 RE4 was an action oriented experiment. and it's really fun. you had like 5 scary games before 4. COOP really killed the series. good thing they are going back to the roots.
I don't really like 3d platforming and this was some pretty glitch/wonky platforming. Also the SNES-N64 change is probably the only new gen with arguably worse graphics. I do like galaxy/sunshine though
>>324062247 It is a game where you have to beat the first dungeon for it to get good. Oh BTW it is a 150 hour game and the first dungeon is 8-12 hours. ENJOY!!!!
Yah, I can see why some people do not like it. It takes like 12 hours to unlock village placement, 15 to unlock golf, 20 hours to unlock fishing(aka crack), 30 to unlock breeding, 40 to unlock racing. You cannot invent anything cool unless you know what to take pictures of.
It has some major problems and I fucking love it, I love it so god damn much
>>324061931 Replay Galaxy. After you choose a mission from the hub, you just jump and run until the end. No searching, no exploration, you never get familiar with an environment, since there is a set road that changes with every mission. When you revisit the same place twice, and everything is at the same spot, and you can fucking tell where you are in relation to other stuff, and use that knowledge to navigate the levels, it's a fucking miracle. Usually you just follow a stupid path that goes through new bullshit made up on the spot for the mission at hand. You don't even ever need to turn the camera around the whole game. >Now jump on this. >Ok now jump on this. >Ok now do this puzzle. >Ok here's your star. >Welcome back to the same level. That door is closed now, you go this way now. >Ok now jump here.
MGSV made me wonder why the game was open world and stealth espionage grocery shopping list action and the story was so disappointingly lacking in any content. and no I still fucking hate this game, fuck you and your MGS2 strawman
It just turned off AI and gambits for all but the most inane, repetitive shit and played it like a classic final fantasy. I had fun, but yes it was a little too MMOish and the story took a dive in the second half. I really wish Matsuno hadn't left halfway through development.
Really don't get the appeal. This game just feels like wasted potential a game that parodies other video games is ripe for all kinds of things like dungeons inspired by other games but instead we get Stock Dungeon A, Stock Enemy #1 and the occasional reference to a video game from Neptune.
I don't buy into this "cute girls doing cute things = God tier game"
Eh. I can't think of anything. Even if a game is not up for my taste I can see it's positive points and understand why people might like it and I usually end up enjoying my experience even if I am highly disapointed. Oh wait there is one exception. Ico is overrated but at least the game is enjoyable to go through and it's short enough so you don't get bored, also the last boss is pretty nice. But Shadow of the cuck is
>empty unfinished world >combat is non existant >horse controls are shit ( almost 10 years after OoT, a game that nailed it in 1998) >only interaction with the world is killing lizards >"colossi" are just puzzles >puzzles go from "literal retards can figure it out directly" to "lol u have to use the magical stone on the 2nd stone on the wall on the left after midnight during full moon" bullshit >game is over before it even started >ending sucks balls
>>324067648 The Zelda fandom is a goddamn mess. Everybody hates at least one game and everybody has at least one sacred cow. It is rare to find a fan who actually likes all games in the series (aside from the obvious shit ones like the CD-i games) and doesn't get too upset when somebody says something bad about their favourite in the series.
I legitimately don't get Shadow of the Colossus. Can you point out some positives? I say that as someone who has been playing vidya since the NES and had all the relevant consoles at the times they were in service.
Shadow of the colossus is boring shit, prove me wrong.
Most of the levels last for a fucking eternity. Looking at the maps for each of them, you can see how much they blatantly copy and paste level gimmicks to pad out their length. You have absolute fucking travesties of levels such as Marble Garden, Carnival Night, Launch Base, Sandopolis, Lava Reef, Hidden Palace and Death Egg. The level design is so fucking obtuse that it makes Sonic CD look like the daytime levels Sonic Unleashed. Even the speedrunners recognize this, making use of the utterly broken level warping to effectively not play the game at all. Fuck this shitstain, it's such an abysmal followup to Sonic 2.
>>324068632 Shadow of the Colossus is just as cinematic as the modern AAA shit we get.
>Look at this cool as fuck cinematic while all you do is hold L1 and press right stick up! >OMG SO EBIN THE COLOSSI CINEMATIC IS SO EBIN ALL YOU DO IS PRESS L1 AND SPAM KNIFE GEMPLAY SO GOOD >OMG THIS QTE LAST BOSS COLOSSI IS SO SAD SO EBIN >OMG UR ACTUALLY A BABY IN THE ENDING UPVOTE IF U CRY EVERY TIEM >OMG SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS BEST GAME EVAR LIEK IF UR A TRUE GAMER
See? I can do memes too.
I like Resident Evil and Silent Hill pre PS2 by the way. Point some good points so we can have a discussion about the game. I'm willing to be reasonable and give the game another chance.
>>324069414 Let's assume I'm not baiting. What are some good points for shadow of the colossus. Everytime you say something negative faggots like you assume it's pure bait and never adress the arguments/present postive points.
So let's assume I'm not baiting. Why do you personally like Shadow of the Colossus?
playing the boss rush mode of it is actually really fun as there's a lot of strategy in getting in extra shortcuts or climbing a colossus in a different way. idk how this shitposting applies to any of it even in generalization. this isn't the order 1866 where there's zero depth and variation in your strats
>>324063191 Just checked my save and I beat in 35 hours, I didn't like near as much as the first game which is one of my all time favorite games. Still an alirght game in my opinion, I would just encourage people to play the first one first.
>>324070107 This and the Ocarina of Time are the only 3d Zelda games that I have enjoyed. There is a ton of annoying shit in TW, but the dungeons remain memorable despite this, and I liked a lot of the bosses as well.
>>324070481 >the story is complete garbage Meh. I think it's great up to the mid-late portion of the game, where it takes a (negatively) amazing drop. I heard it's because the writer - due to work pressure, I believe - abandoned the project halfway, and the rest of the story had to be hastily thrown together. It's sad, really. It had potential to be a really great game.
>>324069704 I didn't like it either, people always argue that it is an example of art within vidya, but pretensions has never been a good reason to like a game. I always thought SOTC and Ico were what the legend of zelda would be if you took out all the fun.
The game is so dark and emotionally compelling! It makes me feel things, so clearly it's the best Zelda game! Because a trial-and-error themed challenge with an emphasis on asinine platforming and mundane fetch quests, challenges that can only be made difficult by placing a timer above them, make for such an incredible Zelda game. Fuck exploration and discovery, fuck combat, who needs any of that shit? This game is deep! These people are upset that they are going to die! Isn't that amazing? How enthralling!
God fucking damn it I can't wait until FFIX comes to the PC. I've been wanting to play it forever, but it's a hassle to fuck about with my PS3. I wish the PS4 was backwards compatible.
I'm actually afraid to turn my PS3 on. It's been kinda slow when messing navigating the startup menus and playstation store, and I think it's about to die. It's fine once you get into the game, though. Shame because it's the launch backwards compatible 60gb version.
>>324063321 Yeah, but that's basically classic Mario right there. Mario 64 and apparently Sunshine (which I never bothered with) changed the formula, and honestly didn't fare all that well, so they changed it BACK. Not all that hard to figure out, really.
That'swhy every modern MArio game has basically been a 3D SMB3. And personally, I prefer that. It's a series of platformers. It's supposed to be about timing, and fun. Not "lol, go do 10 random things in every level" like 64. But to each their own.
>>324063460 This one irritated me to no end. I was a huge fag for Persona 1 and 2, a series that hadn't had an entry in a long ass time, at the time. Then they go and announce P3, and I gt all excited. I aoided all news on it, and just waited it out tomake up my own mind. Well, NEVER again, my friend.
It started out OK, I liked the atmosphere and started getting into it, until I realized that it's just a shitty, third rate dating sim with shitty mechanics and badly made, randomized RPG segments tacked on as a technicality.
Hell, it would have been better if they'd just embraced the fact that it's a dating sim, and just went with it. Nope, they went full retard and tried to force it to be an RPG. A LONG, boring, very half assed RPG.
Oh well, at least it's popularity eventually lead to a more faithful release of Persona 1, and IS actually getting a western release. So there's that, anyway
>>324067452 Meh, I'm not fond of MGS4, but seriously, MGS2 is FAR worse. At last MGS4 TRIED to finish off all the open loose ends (retardedly, but still) and actually has fun gameplay if you're into simple TPS kinda games. Plus, the easter eggs were actually fun for a while.
MGS2 is a brilliant beginning and interesting idea in general, hampered with cutscenes and codec calls that last an hour every 30 seconds, constant hand holding, nonsensical execution of the plot, amazing engine wasted on the big shell (which was basically empty and had tiny ass areas) I could go on. MGS2's fucking demo disc is the only thing related to that game that's worth one single fuck.
At least MGS4 can be a fun afternoon, if you let it be. It's still shit though.
>>324069485 The problem a lot of people had with it is that the plot isn't interesting, and being political is the only thing they can think of to specifically complain about. And then there's those who don't "get" the gameplay, and still others who just think the game is paced badly (which it is).
Me? I actually like it, because it's a dungeon crawler. It's fairly automated, but it has this kind of "mastermind" feel to it, where you can program your team hours ahead of time, and watch them do your bidding (more or less). It gives more control than any other RPG ever made, by taking direct control away from you. And the grueling dungeon crawling segments are enjoyable to me, because I'm weird like that (I guess)
Of course, lots of people like to "command the whole party" which is cumbersome and REALLY annoying to do in FFXII, so that just leads to even more hate...
Honestly, it's like an 8/10 game, but most RPG players aren't looking for a game like FFXII, or just don't understand how it's supposed to work, so they hate it.
This is the one occasion where I think that n extensive tutorial that flat out spoon feeds you how to play the game would have been a good idea. As long as it were optional.
No disrespect to her fans, but her games bore me out of my skull. I honestly think I'm missing something, I like Cave Story, Freedom Planet, Shovel Knight, all that stuff...but all 3 Shantae games just feel 'eh' to me.
>>324087731 If you don't like Pirate's Curse you're not going to like Shantae, and that's fine. To me, it's a pretty charming overall platformer from story to style and has at least competent at worst gameplay. Also fans of the series talk about it a lot because it's getting a new entry against the odds, the games came to Steam, and yeah the game has a lot of cute girls. It's a cult series for reasons though.
>>324094130 >the romance system Man, I didn't even know the game had a romance system in it. When I got to the dragon, and he had my 'loved one', I didn't know what was going on when he had the chubby child girl, that I had to escort around the town
Or any SoulsBB game really. I didn't HATE it per se, but it wasn't as enjoyable as I thought it would be.
I spent much of November and December 2015 playing through all SoulsBB games at my cousin's place while all of our families were together for the holiday season. It wasn't a very enjoyable experience. There were three main reasons for this (in order of importance): (1) the stamina system, (2) the loot system and (3) the overrated difficulty.
>Stamina: I don't like them mainly because of the way that the stamina system limits your options so damn much. It is tied to offensive options (attacks), defensive options (blocks) and mobility options (running, rolling, backhopping or, in Bloodborne, those DMC-esque "steps"). Basically, any action you do that isn't walking or opening doors/treasure eats up stamina. It makes the game so damn slow. And almost feel turn-based at times. I spend more time waiting for my stamina bar to regenerate than attacking a boss or enemy. This is especially the case since I like to use super heavy weapons like the Black Knight Greataxe and the Greatsword.
>Loot: I hate any game where there are certain weapons and items you can only get via low percentage drops, like certain upgrade items in Demon's Souls or certain weapons in Dark Souls 1/2. I hate dealing with a luck-based system like that.
>Overrated difficulty: I played each game in order of release. I died less and less in each newer game. Most of my deaths were in the first game (Demon's Souls) and trying to get used to the controls and the movement. But after finishing Bloodborne, I revisited Demon's Souls and sped through the game once. I only died four times, and that was not because of the enemies, but because I'd accidentally roll off cliffs. People talk about the SoulsBB games as if they're as hard as Ninja Gaiden or classic Mega Man or a Cave shmup. But they're not.
>>324057793 I did too. The world and the gameplay was alright, but the story and characters were shit. The story was probably the worst part. I felt like there was a good story being told somewhere, but the game refused to show me those parts.
>>324070664 This. There is nothing more annoying in this world than league of retards.
>bland game >1 map for 5v5 that's standard game mod >shit new champion designs for SJW's >every champ has an on hit effect after the third AA blah blah >true damage >damage based off of health >item builds never reat vary >no room for the imagination >people report you for picking who you want to play >every player thinks they're god tier at the game in silver/gold.
I don't HATE it per say, but I just really can't wrap my head around why it took off in the first place. Many other games do exactly what these do but with better combat, actual plot, and better graphics.
Oh easy. Godhand. Tried it back years ago, and it was absolute garbage. I can't comprehend how anyone thinks its even mediocre, let alone good. It's not even one aspect of the game that bothers me. Its EVERY aspect. But I guarantee I will get replies in this thread defending this piece of shit. And its always the same.
>Well you just weren't good at it. It's actually really good. Trust me anon.
Then I actually forced my way through a decent portion of the game and sure enough it was still complete shit. So go ahead and tell me how If I would have just 100% newgame+++ UltraMAX Difficulty, my feeble mind would have finally matured enough to see the beauty of it. It wouldn't. It sucks.
>>324058678 This, it was dull and boring. An absolute slog to get through Interesting concept, but overall subpar as fuck Feel like most of the praise just came from the time and conditions the game was released. Transistor comes out and its more of the same overall feel and it gets 0 praise or fanfare like Bastion did
>>324099798 I never liked how sluggish battles are when compared to the other 2 games on PS1 >Choose a command in IX >Characters are stuck in their "ready to perform action" pose for what feels like an eternity >Choose a command in VII or VIII >Action is done instantly unless an enemy is doing something
>>324099798 combat was solid i Hated because every one was a bloody chibi, and cutesy. the story line as overly dramatic for comedic cast. had the most annoying male characters design Ive seen in a rpg. but i wouldn't mine playing it again. its a nice rpg
>>324069348 I wouldn't say SotC was cinematic with no gameplay. you did actually have to do shit and figure out what to do. even Dormin's hints were pretty cryptic and overall figured out how to beat most of the colossi on my own. pic related took me forever to figure out how to get on his shell and not get bucked off when he landed back on his feet, there was no point where the game was doing all the control for me
Clive Barkers Jericho. For the same reason i like his Hellraiser movies. I agree the gameplay and how every level was brown or grey was ass as fuck. But i love the unapologetic brutality of his work. Hell is hell and its terrible. Infinite torment and suffering and surviving is all you can hope to accomplish.
Its why i love Berserk so much. The GodHand/IOE are brutal apostles are all evil irredeemable pieces of shit in the grand scheme. I dislike hell having a light side to it so much its supposed to be hell.
>>324112214 Because it carried over all the worst elements from the first game and didn't really add anything new besides the chain rod and EX skills that you could only unlock by playing each level a specific way.
Fuck you and everyone who acclaimed it purely because they think Ghibli+Miyazaki when neither him nor Ghibli for that matter had any involvement in the version we got. Fuck the braindead AI, fuck the recruit rate, fuck the fact that he has my name, fuck the two battle themes, fuck the ending, fuck the fact that we never got the DS version, fuck the faggots not WANTING the DS version. Also fuck Ghibli fags in general.
>>324058079 Don't even like MMO's, had never played an FF game before and I absolutely adored it. Mum got me that and Kingdom Hearts 2 for my 14th birthday with the strategy guides and everything and I had an absolute ball. Only two games I played for months.
Coincidentally I hated FFX so make of that what you will.
>>324058079 i liked this game and i loved rogue galaxy, even though people claim it is shit.
>>324059234 i never played it until recently and i had a shit ton of fun. i was a huge fan of IX and don't think IX was that great compared to it, the characters were lackluster
>>324062247 gameplay dungeons always reminded me of the .hack games for some reason. that being said i enjoyed the heck out of both games, although obviously .hack was a lot better story wise which i guess made it more bearable
>>324059672 >>324060043 I was amazed they didn't update the checkpoint system for that game like Gavin and Rubin originally wanted to for the HD release. Anyway I loved 2 despite getting really frustrated with how hard it was even on Normal. I just loved how good the voice work was as well as the characters, which really softened the transition in my opinion. If there's one thing Naughty Dog do well and still do well (despite falling into a pit of mediocrity ever since Gavin and Rubin left) it's voice work. >>324060253 If you didn't like 2 you're not going to like 3. A fair bit easier but the vehicles control like arse.
>>324061716 It wasn't terrible, but man I was so disappointed about this after playing Sunshine. Something about it just felt so soulless and mass-produced. I felt even worse about 2 because it was just more of the same but ten times easier. 3D Land I fucking hated and is the main reason I haven't bought 3D World. Really though it was just the start of how soulless Nintendo first party games have become. I get the exact same feeling playing through every Mario game post Galaxy of just going through the motions and just feeling like I have to play through it out of some obligation. The Wii U especially gives me this feeling. Only real joy I've gotten out of any Mario game lately is Paper Jam and it wasn't even developed by them.
Doesn't feel like there's a spark there anymore, is what I'm saying.
>>324059580 >I was like "yeah this is cool this is hardcore... no wait, I hate this." >a ton of fast travel crystals will help people like the game more. >I would really like a lock on function as well. why do people like you post on vidya forums again?
>>324060470 Is Type-0 worth playing? FF Is my favorite series and I've finished every FF but it and Crystal Chronicles. I have the HD version on PS4, but I can't decide between that version or the PSP version emulated.
>>324114383 >If you already have it why not play it? The character models. There's so fucking jarring. Some characters are definitely better looking than others that look straightly ripped from the PSP version, and it shatters my immersion within seconds.
>>324077268 God damn it I swear I'm not fucking gay but god fucking damn it please God no I'm not but god damn it I thought it was a girl when I first saw him god fucking damn it oh sweet Jesus he's feminine.
>>324098292 I liked this, but I feel the exact same way about Soulsfags. Never have I seen a more autistically elitist fanbase who will deride your very intelligence if you died a few times on a bit they found easy, not to mention the absolutely disgusting circlejerking surrounding the lore that if you criticise they will also mock your intellect.
I never played it online, but going through campaign took me a long time to accomplish, mostly because it suddenly makes me feel very tired and puts me to sleep. The complete silence, even when fighting enemies and having comrades giving you Intel, it felt dull and quiet in a sense. The lack of music, and when it did have music it felt like it was played at a low volume. The dark and gray feeling and the lack of exploration, there was only very few memorable moments for me in this game.
>>324094130 >except the romance system I don't know. A loli being accused of raping a princess then saving her from tower like a charismatic knight and fucking her silly in the process is the best romance subplot in any game ever senpai.
>>324112002 I liked it but every Platinum game feels the same. Playing Transformers Devestation and >Same music >Same combat >Same mechanics >Fucking Witch Time in Transformers fucking hell >Same rankings after every battle.
I think they just chuck it in a machine and use a formula to churn out a game for every franchise they're commissioned to do.
Anarchy Reigns is a fucking terrible game and I have no idea why so many people on here like it. I fucking blame The Best Gamers and that smug fucking video of theirs about it.
>>324113970 Fuck the battle system for this game so much. It's not that I didn't understand it. It's just plain fucking boring doing chains. They seriously had to go with some MMO tier battle system. I got around 8 hours in before dropping this pile of shit. The worst part is that I really liked the world, but there's no way I'm gonna force myself to play it.
>>324115687 I didn't think I expressed it well enough but it just feels like I'm trudging through most Wii U games barring Tropical Freeze. They're not expressly bad, just....I dunno, safe? I can't really explain it though apparently I did. To me Sunshine and the entire Gamecube era was just genius. The level of freedom and movement that game gave you despite how frustrating that game was at times was unparalleled and I don't think any 3D Mario game can top it.
Lately though there's just a feeling at the pit of my stomach playing current first party Nintendo games that I can't explain. Like, I have to force myself to finish their games.
>>324116002 >>324110212 I played it on PS2 knowing all of the acclaim surrounding it and despite that I still blown away by it. Absolutely amazing game. I hate to even admit it given the annoying cult of personality he's got on here, but Kamiya is as close to a genius as anyone involved with video games.
>>324115430 Everything about both games is impressive One being technically impressive and the other being impressively downgraded in every regard >video didn't include the limb damage Shit was more heinous than MGSV
>>324115927 >I can't really explain it though apparently I did.
No you did. Remember that joy when you were a kid in Mario 64. You wouldn't feel tied by anything, to anything, everything was a joy to discover, you would unlock more levels, and then you have a choice, you can enter whichever world you like, and get whatever star you like, there was so much diversity, and no level felt overdone. There was a huge hubworld with its secrets.
In Galaxy you have a corridor you must follow, cutscenes, scripted shit, story, no freedom, gravity, that bullshit about walking around planets.
>>324060691 >QTE >tank controls in an action game >advertised as survival horror but has none >magical teleporting jew that sells you weapons >enemies drop ammo and money >shooting galeries >escort mission
shit game, but /v/ has shit taste so it all works out
>>324117118 In the visuals either, honestly. Because of the geometry of everything being blocky, with minor texture "remaster"ing it still looks absolutely brilliant. Same sorta goes for ZoE 2. 3 falls behind because organic models (flora) are difficult to model perfectly and have aged, including messy textures. 4's textures and map geometry are absolute ass, however characters look brilliant PW is PW V was held back by the previous gen, character models looking like ass and africa like fucking garbage when it's not raining
>>324120648 i think its not that they don't care, just that the mentality of "if only 1% of players, if even that much, notice this little detail why should I bother implementing it, I have a deadline" has set in for the past decade
>very few dual skills >need to put shitty characters in your party to complement good ones to pull off said skills >bland, plodding battle system >way too easy >pointless amount of customization >mostly forgettable characters >random encounters
This piece of garbage. It's barely even a game, you just watch boring soap opera scenarios play out, there is no story for two thirds of the game and the story sucks anyway, the presentation is edgy emo shit only a teenage anime fan would think is good, the dungeon is the same randomized pattern the entire game, you watch the combat play itself and the AI is dumb as shit and finally the characters are so horrible, worse than flavor of month anime series.
It's a shit game. The music was kinda cool, but most jrpgs have good music so big deal.
