>>324051889 Added "safes" that can drop at the end of a heist last year. You can pay for "drills" to open them for weapon skins that may hold minor buffs. They try to excuse it by allowing drills to drop as well, but they are more rare than infamous masks.
>>324048005 I find it weird how people are complaining about skins that give stat boosts in a game that has no competitive aspect, and instead an emphasis on cooperation, so that if one person has an advantage, the whole team will do better, and possibly recieve better equipme t sooner with less chance for failure.
>>324051889 >Or did they add some other shit on top? Oh boy. Get this. They decided to add drops after missions that would be locked behind a paywall. Specifically, "safes" that needed to be unlocked by paying $2.50 for a "drill" (think buying a key to open a TF2 crate). These safes often had weapons and items with better stats than anything else in the game.
>>324051889 Last year they added safe drops, during crimefest, which can only be opened with a drill. The only way to get the drill is to buy it from overkill. You will get a skin for your gun and it added stat bonuses. The problem is a week before the crimefest, they released a patch nerfing most of the weapons in the game. So you had to get skins to get your guns back to the stats they were, and if you went to a game and you didn't have a skin the host would kick you from the lobbies.
>>324053309 Yes you do. It's why yiu keep responding. You want a nice long cock in your little mouth, and you want to feel me inside you. You want your legs to quiver and give yourself to me. You want to be my little slave. And I'm gonna be the one who owns your little ass.
>>324053210 The best part? The microtransaction system was implemented on the first day of Crimefest, a yearly event that is supposed to be all about free content with free updates every day. Whose rewards were "earned" by the community completing challenges in-game.
>>324048005 Alright, so if you guys are done shitposting, I'm gonna talk about the DLC for Payday 2.
I didn't buy it, my friend did, so that's already a plus, since it's a ridiculous $7. Anyway, the heist is split into two days. The first day is, honestly, a lot of fun. You're given a car in the beginning which you use to transport the goats to the moving truck for transport. You get scenarios where one dude's piloting the car, ramming the shit out of police, while another dude is riding shotgun, keeping you and the car secure, and two other dudes are out searching for the goats. Payday 2 obviously wasn't designed for cars since it's so damn glitchy (You can get tased out of a car, what the fuck?) but it's pretty neat swerving around an entire city block as you transport the goats. The goats themselves are silly since they're doing things they'd do in goat simulator, so you have to kind of lower your serious guard for a second.
Day 2 sucks, though. It's really difficult and none of it is fun. You have to hold out for a few minutes as gang members attack a barn you're held up in, then onslaughts of police arrive and you're fucking around with getting goats in a cage to be picked up by a helicopter. You get to drive again, but it's a linear path followed by another five minute wait on a broke piece of dick drill, and then the heist is over.
Almost two million xp from the whole thing, which isn't too shabby, but for the love of god, don't buy this. Just play with others who did.
>hotline miami? Well the two don't have many similarities but I guess it's kinda cool >is that keanu reeves? Damn this is getting bad >A heist over an album? Just fuck my game up >Fucking goat simulator? JUST FUCK MY LIFE UP
>>324054645 Ugh tell me about it. Some tweaks and a steady stream of weapons or maps and would have been golden. Well that and changing up the awful loot system. Remember getting frustrated trying to get specific gun parts as most the time you would just get a shitty money reward or the same god damn mask skin over and over from those fucking cards.
Did they ever change that by the way? Or is the normal loot progression still terrible?
>>324055596 >So I recently reinstalled it >Constant kicks due to not having certain skins or guns. Keep in mind this is "Dumb baby difficulty". Same. I heard about all the shit they added and figured I'd just try it out again. I joined into a lobby for a heist with 0 difficulty only to be matched up with people with like a dozen flaming cards and flaming helmets and flaming guns. The people who play this game are retarded.
>>324053382 >P2W its a fucking PVE game? how can you add P2W in a non adversarial game? you gain minimal stat boosts all of which you can get without the skins now as card loot. and the drills to open the safes are also loot cards too.
>>324056731 >how can you add P2W in a non adversarial game? The game has a lose condition. It doesn't matter if you're playing against AI if you need to buy an item with real money to improve your chances of wining.
>>324055596 People still playing it tend to be obsessive autists with extremely well-optimized plans and superior equipment and skillsets. Of course it's not wrong if people like that want to play by themselves, but it's absolute shit that someone who wants to play the game in small amounts has no place in public games. Now you either play like an absolute madman or don't play at all.
>>324056830 but the stat boosts are minimal at best and it dosen't break the game. I think they're dumb but who gives a shit? your skills and perk deck have more of an effect on how good you can do in the game over a small stat boost to your gun.
Should I just uninstall Payday 2? I have autism with keeping all games I own installed, but we're creeping up on 30 GB of memes and DLC I don't own here, and it filled up the drive it was on. I told it to not update until I launch it next time, but I'm thinking I'll be a lot happier with 30 GB of empty hard drive space than having the game installed.
