Spyro fucking phases through the shit half the time, and even if Hunter comes to a complete stop to catch them I can't keep up with him.

I feel like I'd have more of a chance if the fucking camera wasn't wedged up Spyro's ass, I can't see the area well enough to see where the crystals will pop out.

Not that anon but I've recently been replaying 1 and the controls for Spyro feels shit, like he feels sluggish in comparison to 2 and 3. Level-wise, game is still strong and more challenging to collect stuff as the levels are far bigger.

Did any of you ever play Muppets Monster Adventure? It was basically a clone of Spyro but shockingly not shit.

The timed puzzles in that game made me resent every single timed mission in any game ever. There was basically no margin for error.

I'm with you on this, 2 was my fave and 3 was pretty much just more of 2, so they are equal tier imo.
I only ever played 1 in the Crash Bandicoot game, when you entered the demo cheat code on the title screen. Picked it up after HS and while it has awesome levels, I just can't quite get used to the less polished controls.

Are any of the games beyond the original three worth playing? I liked 1 and 2 the most. 3 was okay but had too many alternate characters for my liking. Definitely not as bad as the drop in quality Crash had on the third game though.
