This is a 2016 PS4 game.
How the hell is this acceptable?
We're talking about a company that reuses literally 20 year old sprites and other assets in their modern games. It's okay when Atlus does it, because they give us cute anime girls.
Not even a Sonygger but maybe its a design choice?
You know like in books:
>The masses of people emerged like a burtig pipe of water. Hundred of faceless people flooded the station but i dont remember their faces. The only thing that mattered was Hanako, my big love
>getting upset at japanese game's graphics
I think you would prefer the Assassin's Creed series. I hear the new one has MORE polygons than ever!
Games literally running under 30 fps. LOL nah.
>Excusing a company being so lazy they couldn't even put fucking faces on people
Purseowner faggots everyone
you shitpost from your closet and drink domestic beer
that's about as faggy as it gets
Whatever happened to Gameplay>Graphics?
I'm pretty sure you guys don't care when it's a nintendo game.
This is a 2016 Wii U game.
How the hell is this acceptable?
this is a pc game, how can you find this acceptable?
lets have a chance to put a minority as a leading roll nah white girl instead...literally a game about Indians..I love how there were more minority leading rolls till the feminist started bitching now its all white women
So when will people shut up about graphics? Why can't we nail developers on their gameplay and content instead of how the fucking game looks? I mean you're not even talking about performance at this point, how shallow can you get?
I just want to know the differences between the PS3 and PS4 releases. I don't want to buy a new system when I can play a comparable version on one I already own. I think as long as it "works" on PS3 (no major slowdown, blurriness, or bugs) I'll be fine.
>And demons are back!
>demons as enemies does not really do anything for the gameplay
Except the fucking negotiation. I seriously hope it's not coming back. It was a shit mechanic.
Negotiation isn't a shit mechanic. It simply has inconsistent execution. Soul Hackers has good negotiation. Nocturne has terrible negotiation. Most games are somewhere in-between.
When people say they hated negotiation in Persona 1 and 2, what they really tend to mean is they hated the way the fusion system was built around spell cards.
There's about 6 main characters in that crowd. Holy shit.
Persona 1 has you negotiate with demons to get their spell cards. Fusing two spell cards together would get you a persona. It was a stupid system because you'd negotiate with two demons and end up fusing something entirely different. You should have simply negotiated for the demon itself like in SMT.
Oh, I see. Didn't actually get to play the first one, had P2 in mind.
Still, fuck negotiation system. In P2 you had to negotiate to grind the cards, but then you were missing on exp. In P3-4 you outright get a drop of a complete new persona from random encounters which is bad too.
They should just make demons drop some parts of their summoning cards on death. This way you get both new summon and exp, and it isn't as cheap as just outright getting a new persona as a random drop.
But I really want back for P5 is fusion spells like in P2.
>caring about graphics
But Persona has fucking awful story and rubbish gameplay so I guess graphics do matter when the rest of your game sucks
>retards defending a lazy developer known for shitty visuals and reusing decades old assets.
They effectively get their point across while also having less work to do for themselves.
Two birds one stone nigga. Work smart, not hard.
All these 14 years old faggots.
I wonder how many great games you missed just for a shit reason >m-muh graphics
Hell at least normalfags complain about anime style not to graphics.
>went to check the official site
>it's not there
You tricked me!
Not sure what you find to be unacceptable about it. Everything looks pretty great.
Oh wait, you're bitching about the lack of detail in the NPCs. That was done for a reason as a stylistic choice. Everybody who isn't an important character is represented as a faceless generic to represent the fact that 99% of the people we see in the world are faceless nobodies to us. The world is a crowded place and we as individuals only care about a select few people. Those are the only people whose identities matter to us so they're the only people who we care to recognize in a crowd. Considering the themes of the last two Persona games, it's a fitting choice to represent unimportant NPCs and a clever way to fill out the crowded streets of a bustling Japanese metropolis.
>We’ll safely release Persona 5 in 2016… I think.
The ride never ends, lads
I sure hope. Is he known to have a sense of humor?
He may be fucking with people, but if they do end up delaying it he's gonna end up dead. This fucking game was supposed to come out 2 fucking years ago, a december release is looking likely at this point as well considering we haven't seen fucking shit.
His jokes are in poor taste.
Not really, but both him and the Atlus CEO reconfirmed the 2016 release in more interviews that came out immediately afterwards. That "I think." was Hashino cracking a joke that came through poorly.
Oh that's for sure, but I think they're really done with it this time. I'm guessing May/June release in Japland and sometime in Fall for us.
