It had great MP, good balance, unlock pacing, great maps, etc. BLOPS and CoD4 were the only ones with a semi-engaging story, not to mention all the weird lore shit with the numbers, that weird twin stick shooter minigame you can unlock at the menu screen.

Easily the worst thing to come out of Cawadooty. The original level was fine as an extra (hell, I'd say it was good until whatever came after Shi No Numa.) Then it became a convoluted memerific mess. I think what it boils down to (imo) is that Call of Duty's engine and/or gunplay doesn't feel suited towards a horde mode, and the characters and setting don't make it any better.

You're better off playing the likes of KF2.
