If you're at endgame, there's pretty much nothing to do.

Playerbase is terrible. It doesn't reward proficient play outside of endgame which mandates it or you instant wipe.

Game has no development resources despite being a flagship product which is why it hasn't taken any risks other than seeing how long they can drag the playerbase along on a shoestring budget.

I wanted to like it, everything in this game looks good, music is great, combat is a snorefest but its an mmo I can deal with that, the real problem is theres absolutly no community between players in this game, game feeks completly solo oriented, no one ever talks, shit, you dont even need to know people to run dungeons sice they just party you up with random people, which you wont even talk to, if I wanted to play a gane like this, I would just play a single player game with good story and combat.

I'm enjoying it alright. It's a bit lacking in the end game department, but since I'm still rather new, I still have plenty of stuff to distract me with.

Yeah I actually skipped out on savage Melusine because I was burned out from 6/8/9 and FC drama. By the time I went to it Final Coil was a week away so we just dropped it at like 20%.

There were a couple things that are maybe a bit too punishing/random (swarm can RNG fuck you, some of the tower timings are a little extreme, etc) but savage 6 and 8 are a couple of my favorite fights and savage 9 was a crazy nail biter.

Savage T9 was primarily a healer check. Bunch of VIT melds on everyone for safety reasons because fuuuuuuck keeping people alive during second meteor set if you keep getting targeted as the healer.

How arduous are the new Relics without raiding?

I'm almost cleared with 3.0, I only do the story when I can play with a friend who can't play that often... so I'll probably be trying to farm Relic Weapons on various classes.

Also, which DPS class should I level after I get WAR done? PLD and DRK are at 60, thinking about taking a break from the healers.

I did this to my old FC.

Granted my reason for doing it was because my leader turned into an elitist asshole who literally treated any of us like shit when we talked about tanking, saying things like "you should just stay the dps/healer, don't worry about tanking, I'm the tank."

Knocked that shit to the ground and took all the members with me to make my own. We're tiny but at least we have a good time now.

because a big portion of the characters have shit reasons and look horrible

wanna know why people love FF6/7 the most? it has the best characters overall, it's a game where you make your party with 3/4 people out of 15 and you'll pick them based on who you like the most

I never really appreciated character/class customization until XIV. Without builds it feels like you're just playing a simplified action adventure game with rpg elements. Completing builds itself was an endgame goal. But YoshiT just tossed that all away because he thinks all mmo players are meta autists.

I just beat 2.0 and am a 50 summoner. So far I'm enjoying the game, but I admit it's probably a guilty pleasure. I love the group content. It's easy, but fun.

I want to get into doing some of the raids and the harder primal fights, but FCs seem to be either 100% hardcore or 100% casual.

And am I the only one who thinks Lallafels walk like they just shit their pants?
