A HUNDRED DEATHS AND I STILL CANT EVEN GET PAST THE FIRST BOSS
FUCKING FUCK THIS SHITTY ASS NIPPON CUNT WEEBO GAME
You are literally what's wrong with gaming
>Literally thousands upon thousands of video games have been released.
>Yet the board has the same topics about the same game posted over and over again
Is it just one guy or a small team who makes these topics?
This best be b8, anon.
If not you need to seriously git gud.
>every major AAA release with a dedicated fanbase should only have an equal amount of discussion as whatever piece of garbage shovelware some no name studio shits out
This is one of the least sensible posts I've seen years. Besides, DaS2 just went on sale recently and plenty of people are playing it for the first time.
Are you a Youtube Let's Player? Because those are the only types of people that get stuck on TLG.
I must admit it took me about 7 tries or so, but in my defence, I had been playing bloodborne for months and had no idea how to adjust to Souls combat.
Better to start with the most fun ones and have a great time, instead of tiring yourself of the formula and playing the same mediocre game 4 times.
So i recommend starting playing in this order if you're gonna play them all:
DaS 1/Bloodborne > DaS 2 > DeS
>Friends keep telling me to play Dark Souls
>Finally get out of the prison
>Next area is full of skeletons that kill me in 2 hits
Fuck this artificial difficulty bullshit
You're going the wrong way anon. try up
I remember my first time too. I couldn't sit right for a week.
I honestly had more trouble trying to get to him tbqh.
>literal shit tier controls, massive input lag on buttons and twitch ass sticks
>parry/block feels ass
>twink invasions up the ass
>lots of things to get bumped and clipped off
>finally reach him
>he's a total pushover, ez dodge/block and hits legs
After all that I expected a challenge.
Is the Last Giant easiest first boss in the series (obviously without counting Asylum tutorial demon, that's not even a true boss)? TK was harder, Taurus is harder even with the falling trick and Gascoigne is totally on his own level in this comparison.
>tfw you too went the spooky way on my first playthrough
Found your twin post, what a coincidence, it's from a Bloodborne thread. >>323945891
After 100%ing DS, here's how many times i died on each boss of ds2 on my first playthrough
Well done OP. You successfully got several serious replies to your extremely obvious bait. I give you a light to decent 8/10.
I'm a noob who cannot kill the Lost Sinner but I still managed to kill that in the second try.
>but when you have to fight two of em at the SAME TIME
tfw died 3 times to him, but killed 2kat on the first try
>didn't die to Lost Sinner or Throne Duo
>died to Aldia and Guardian Dragon
It's DIVINE weapons that stop them from coming back you mongoloid. The silver knight weapons do the same thing because they are inherently divine. And you can get divine weapons much earlier than the silver weapons if you want to do the catacombs, not that you need one.
Actually i died 2 times on chariot. Except that on the third attempt the skeletons killed me right before getting the chariot's soul, so it didn't save.
I don't remember why i died on the dragon, but with aldia i died like 3 times because the giant fireball instakilled me and 1 time when he materialized inside me. Also lost sinner was super ez, like artorias slowed down by 50%. I beat him with half hp without taking damage.
The place where i died most was right before the smelter demon. I actually had to kill everyone 15 times in order to get to him
I didnt apply myself, i write a little better usually.
The only thing that i'm ashamed of is the 9 deaths on the 4 small rats during the rat authority bossfight. Once i managed to kill them the rat was literally a sif reskin.
Oh, and also it was a shieldless run
>twink invasions up the ass
I have been invaded a LOT and I'd have to say only about 5% of them are twinks.
And if a twink is invading, they'll keep invading, so you just nullify the online shit by burning an effigy or git gud.
Yesterday I was invaded by a twink arbiter and sassed the ever loving fuck out of his face in a world where I burned an ascetic.
Nigga git gud.
This was my experience too I hated Dark Souls so much, I never played it until months later when I saw a lets play and realized that was the wrong way to go. Now dark souls is one of my most played games.
I cant beat these fuckers and Ive beaten ludwig in 5 tries
There's always one faggot shooting me in the back, or when one meteorit hits you, youre staggered and another one comes right away
And fucking noone is helping at that spot, I waited for 15 min and then I gave up
>Enter Way of the Blue because no one else does
>Someone's gotta do it
>Go out of my way to make myself as big of a target as possible
>Human form 24/7
>Constantly wear red string ring
>Never get invaded
>Touch every red sign I see, even when adventuring
>Never ever. Ever. Not Once. Host a Blue Sentinel
I played through NG and NG+ as Way of the Blue so I could be the hero we all deserve and maybe sponsor some really exciting and enjoyable PvP interactions, but nope.
Fuck me, right?
>A HUNDRED DEATHS AND I STILL CANT EVEN GET PAST THE FIRST BOSS
I recently started the game myself with a deprived character and I'm not even good at Souls games.
This guy is slow as fuck.
Just roll and hit him until he dies.
I was so shell shocked I had to run through it all the way to the boss.
Tried with every shard of my being to beat it, because I didn't want to die and have to go through that again.
Fuck Shrine of Amana, never again.
Well DS2 is way harder than DS1, especially boss fights, but come on, this guy can't even hit you. It's the asylum demon of DS2.
If you wanted to troll, you should have talked about the Pursuer, literally the hardest boss From ever made with Gehrman and Fume knight.
don't remind me anon, maybe it is better this way
The only people that thought it was hard were retards. I was honestly surprised that Fromsoft caved and nerfed it. If you pulled enemies one at a time there was no issue. My first character didn't use a shield or magic and I got through it with one death.
jesus fucking christ almighty, thank you
This whole time I'm hearing the shrine of amana meme I'm just sitting here like "you just shoot them in the head with arrows from max distance"
Another anon here.
They basically attacked you before you could even understand where they were positioned. I remember I had to take cover and use the bow in first person the first time I got there.
Use a human effigy to become completely human, then look for a summon sign on the ground outside the boss room. Summoning an NPC to help you makes the fight way easier. Just stay right behind his feet the whole fight.
I beat this bitch while in the Champions covenant without realizing it makes shit harder.
Op just sprint between his legs, attack his achilles heel after he swipes the ground, and run away before he stomps or jumps backwards.
Oh I did have plenty of bows, I should have reworded that as I'm not letting the game force me to change my playstyle. I never had to do it any other time, so why now? I survived, but it was shit area.
Just failed my no-death run because I had forgotten to close pidgin.
Friend of mine messaged me right in the middle of the Pharos rat boss fight, program came on top, failed my dodge (I have a glass cannon mage build).
I'm so fucking mad at myself. Eighteen hours burned.
>strafe around behind boss
>they're literally incapable of hitting you 90% of the time
>for the other 10% of bosses that have an attack that might hit you, you just incorporate dodging into your circlestrafing
Worst bosses in the series desu
I'm pretty sure threads like this are false flags by Souls fags to make out that their game is hardcore.
>hear cannons from a distance
Im usually one to give helpful advice in these situations but at such an easy early boss I can only say;
made the same mistake dying over and over my first time playing until I was able to take down the skeletons then my friend told me it was the wrong way so I went the right way from firelink and everything was pretty easy from there either way you should probably
No way in hell you're that shit at games unless you're legitimately retarded.
>fight last giant
>target keeps switching between his legs and arms and head by itself
>can't control camera
>fight him again
>don't lock on
>killed him without breaking a sweat
Is this what they call artificial difficulty? Just add multiple target points to the boss your your lock on keeps switching and fucking you up?
Is the agape ring really worth the ring slot?
Whats a good SM to stop at?
I might play one more playthrough, but I want it to be the best playthrough of my time in this steaming pile of rehashed refried shit.
Just edit your soul memory down to whatever you want with a save editor or cheatengine or however they do it, if you care that much. The fact that they didn't remove it for SotFS is still baffling. At least DS3 is confirmed not to be using it.
How does this make me dumb?
I'm telling you. I have the auto lockon options disabled.
Then I get to the giant. Use lock on and it keeps on switching targets between the giants legs and face. It's literally spazzing out. Great fucking game From.
>Just edit your soul memory down to whatever you want with a save editor or cheatengine or however they do it
Yeah, I'm not looking to get banned, I quite enjoy pvp, even if I only had a 20% chance of being banned I'd still refuse to do it.
Editing your SM is perfectly safe, as long as you don't reduce it below what's required for your level.
I have done it for over a year. No bans. Never been banned with all the shit I do.
>do this for the first time the other day
>rush enough STR to use it
>club of the same level does about as much damage, and is way better in general
>go through the game with a new appreciation for the club
Demon's Great Hammer legitimately isn't great. It's only good for NG because it's a trick weapon that nobody expects you to be using.
Zwei is a much better STR weapon and BKH is a much better weapon overall
>doing a quick run to test something
>duping souls because it's not a serious run
>kill BK to get the grass crest shield
>zwei run suddenly became a BKH run
That shit is beautiful.
Mostly I was just surprised the club was so good. I used a club mainhand, and a crossbow offhand, and it was the most fun I have ever had playing dark souls.
One-shotting those stone knights in darkroot garden felt so good.
that area is fucking HORSESHIT is what it is
it's fucking lazy (the area is basically barren), the enemies are crap, and the boss is just the first boss of the DLC plus a clone
