The locking system is indeed bad. Some enemies do indeed get staggered too easy, but those are normally part of group encounters, so its only really noticeable and annoying on the last enemy.
AI barriers probably refers to enemies not leaving the area they spawned in? This is clearly to prevent you from dragging a strong enemy into a city where the guards kill it for you. Its a necessary evil.

This one I can agree with. Biggest problem of combat IMO. Sometimes Geralt attacks instantly, sometimes he spins around for a sec before hitting. Sometimes monsters attack without any windup animation. There's just too much random elements involved.

The controls were perfectly fine for me, at no point did Geralt do something I didnt tell him to. The only problem I had was the interaction button, taking queue from Bioware's ONE BUTTON DOES EVERYTHING and trying to get on a horse near an item or something like that, I dont remember exactly.

Its an open world game, so enemies must have aggro range, and chase range. Lacking these makes the game actively worse. Removing them is a terrible idea.

The difference between W3 DM combat and Souls combat is that Souls combat actually feels gratifying, thats literally it. W3 combat becomes a chore on DM because no matter how good you are you still need to pace yourself and take your time, because if you start to lay into an enemy they do a "counter" where they just attack through your attack animation, effectively making fights last longer.

If anyone says they get memefaces and other shit.

I enjoyed w3 combat and 90% of problems described by haters were nowhere in the game.

The only actual problem W3 combat had was the shitty humanoid bosses in the basegame, the 2 big wild hunt elf.

Actually, this question answers mine. If you don't know what positive there is to be said, how can you think that there is one? You couldn't answer your own question with "any?" You immediately jump to the offensive again, what indication have I given that I'm going to respond with "memefaces and other shit?"

We aren't talking about "haters." We're talking about Witcher, and you've proven my point in its entirety: Nobody has anything good to say about this game in terms of mechanics. Only defensively attacking other games and how amazing the graphics are. If the fans have nothing good to say about it, it basically is Dragon Age 2 for all the good awards are. It perfectly fits a witcher combat and fun to play.

Please tell me the positives of a game with good combat.

If you name certain parts that means the combat is shit and has 1 or 2 good features maybe, but still shit.

Either the combat is overall good or its shit with 1 enjoyable feautre.
