Some enemies do indeed get staggered too easy, but those are normally part of group encounters, so its only really noticeable and annoying on the last enemy. AI barriers probably refers to enemies not leaving the area they spawned in? This is clearly to prevent you from dragging a strong enemy into a city where the guards kill it for you. Its a necessary evil.
It still makes me laugh a bit because nobody mentions witcher 3 aside from goty nominations, the same goty nominations that its fans were trying to demote and accusing them of being rigged when it was Inquisition that was snatching them.
witcher 3 is a good game but it's overrated as fuck. 8/10 at best. i don't disagree with it being GOTY since this year has been SHIT full of games you faggots convinced me to pre-order because "insert game dev here" can do no fucking wrong. XCX is my personal goty followed by mh4u

The game was very compelling and people couldnt explain why, so we all agreed it must be the combat. In fact its probably a combination of many facts, and the combat isnt that amazing.

The controls were perfectly fine for me, at no point did Geralt do something I didnt tell him to. The only problem I had was the interaction button, taking queue from Bioware's ONE BUTTON DOES EVERYTHING and trying to get on a horse near an item or something like that, I dont remember exactly. Are you worried about animation canceling or what? I just dont get what you are trying to communicate here.
Its an open world game, so enemies must have aggro range, and chase range. Lacking these makes the game actively worse. Removing them is a terrible idea.
