I had absolutely no trouble with him at all. I beat him on my first try, with a threaded cane build. Whipped his ass proper.

The entire fight is pretty obvious. He telegraphs all his moves.

I had the biggest trouble with both the turret prick, and the blood-starved beast. Blood-starved beast really kicked my ass over and over.

As soon as you enter the battle field run to the left and find some gravestone around a tree. You can get him stuck on that and hit him though the gravestone. Will need a weapon with decent range.

I'm going to be perfectly honest on my experience with FartherG. Bloodborne's atmosphere scared the shit outa me and I had been mostly getting by off of luck and a little skill. I pussied out on the bridge and didn't go to the end to fight the Cleric Beast. So my first actual boss fight was FG. I found him intimidating as fuck and music didn't help in any way lol. I died to hike maybe 50 fucking times.

I honestly believe if you're new to Souls games or you're an impatient fuck wad FG will give you ass rapping.

He is literally a causal filter in every since of the term.

What I have found is that Rom punishes players that use the lock-on mechanic. If you lock on to the spiders, if you lock on to Rom, you are going to hit that skull armour they have on their face and do sweet fuck all damage. People that didn't find Rom difficult are probably those that didn't play using lock-on. For those that have grown used to using lock-on, it is a bullshit fight because you have to un-learn your playstyle.

Just remember the game is faster and more aggressive than the Souls games. You'll need to be fast and aggressive too.

If you are fighting an enemy and he hits you, don't roll away, Rush in and hit back. You'll heal yourself.

But, if you are fighting a group of enemies be very careful doing that as they might all hit you at once and kill you.

And don't be afraid to ask for help if you get really stuck, there are lots of people that love to help, like me.

I disagree. With lock-on you can actually see what is happening and admire the cinematic quality of the fights in Bloodborne. Also makes it easier to parry, as you said.

This is why I don't like the Rom fight, it takes place in an awesome setting and is an integral battle in the plot, but if you want to win you have to run around slashing wildly at spiders while the camera tries to keep up with you because you're not using lock-on.

I wish you could do that. Gascoigne, Maria, and Gehrman all have moves where they swing their tricked weapons, then pull out there gun for 1 shot, then put it back again. After a while on my Magic Swordsman Guts Build.

I started to believe that this game wasnt all that challenging and after several new games the game is easy and its just learning how to use the controls and ect. Afterwords its easy. I could defeat all the bosses in several new games + without any trouble.

Then I replayed the game trying to created a Virgil Build with the Chikage.

And my fucking god the bullshit of when you first start playing the game. Father Gasgione can dish out ridicoulsy amounts of damage with his fucking gun like half your health. His axe swings are like 2-3 swings to kill you. You die because you run out of vials. Then you have to go farm for a long time in order to buy vials to go fight him again since begining gaming farming sucks.

the level cap for summon is HUGE this time round, for instance at level 80, you can summon or be summoned by anyone from level 44 to 116

most boss fights after rom have people needing help in some aspect
logarius is a common one for people needing help
ALL the DLC bosses barring laurence (I don't doubt you can summon and be summoned for him, but on multiple occasions I have tried for about 20-30 mins and gotten nothing)

I beat every boss in the game in less than 3 tries, except for orphan who took me about 15 probably. Now I can beat him with 3-4 tries on a new character but he was a big hurdle for me on my first character. Fume Knight was the same type of hurdle for me in DaS2
