I personally didn't have a problem with Joshua, I mean sure I kind of got pissed off when I found out that he was the one who shot you and made you go through all this shit in the first place but he was fun to team up with and I enjoyed his interaction with Neku.

Well in all fairness Neku does go through a lot of character development in the game so I can see how people might have hated Neku at the start of the game for being an edgelord teenager but towards the middle and end of the game he really comes into his own.

Europe only had an English translation, so natrually a lot of people avoided it.
Loved the game to death, but none of my SE-loving friends even thought of touching it.

I wanted to play it real bad when it came out, but the lack of localization was seriously turning me off. First game led to Shiki winning, coming back to life just to be killed again when Neko wanted to play again, Second game after Josh taught him the value of a partner, the game got rigged and Neko lost basically every single other player that could've been a partner. Only reason he survived is because Beat called bullshit and decided he was gonna help Neku and topple the Conductor

Sure, I've never used the top screen in combat, and there are certain attacks that I can never carry out properly with a mouse, but I just stick to pins that I can use well, like shooting pins and especially the ice-stalagmite-thing.

Also, the ayy lmaos that visit to give me 100 meeting-other-people XP were a great idea by the makers of this game. I just leave it on overnight and get 300 pin XP by morning.

what country are you guys from, France? Where I'm from the default stance is to never expect localizations and just suck it up and play in English. I think I've seen only a couple games that got full voice acted localizations to my language, and they were titles mostly aimed for kids (Sly Cooper)
