Shill, discuss, collab, etc.
Posting a shitty paint doc that shills some levels, including two I just uploaded. I appreciate any feedback and I could use the stars for more uploads, anons!
Small joke level:
>Most disappointing power-up ever https://supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/1567-0000-018B-B7DA
Two short levels:
>Falcon Rush Cannonfire
New Course I made, based of Paper Jam
Some others I made that I liked
Enter the secret Wizard House
Thwomps are friends
Here are my short series based around Birdo. Each level has 3 hidden 1-up mushrooms and 3 pipes leading to secret rooms.
>World 1-1 Reptile Park
>World 1-2 Trees in the Earth
>World 1-3 Canyon Waltz
World 1-4 Invading Hammer Castle
I'm making a campaign of eight worlds going through all Mario styles.
If you're interested, start with 1-1: Happy Hills, a very short SMB1-like introduction stage
The newest level is 6-4: Floria Fields, based on Kirby Super Stars. Change the seasons by entering a pipe. https://supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/7141-0000-018A-5370
I have three challenges if you're into that, beat one first with proof and I'll draw shitty scribbles on all you got.
>Find the hidden Yoshi in 3-1 (Claimed by Dusknoir)
>Give the corrupted Goomba his spring in 6-4
>Beat one of Keyrock's times, he must have played the level before
Sweet, two new levels! Bookmarked for when I have some time on my hands
Not him, but that kind of challenge is fun. Meta challenges are neat, since you can't add star medals/red coins/other gizmos.
These threads die fast in /vg/. Plus, /vg/ is made for recurring threads about a game that's set in stone, since discussion then revolves around aspects like the metagame, fanart, shipping, etc... There's not much of that going on with a level editor.
My newest level:
"Bowser's Airship Army"
Non-autoscrolling airship level with a small shmup at the end. A lot of bullets flying around, and you have to pay attention to your surroundings to survive.
Bookmarking all the levels in the thread, I'll get to them eventually.
Here's the one good level I've made. It's based on Spelunky, other people have said some nice things about it so, try it I guess.
I don't understand how some of ya'll can pump out levels like you do, finding inspiration is hard, and actually finishing them is a challenge in itself.
the falcon rush levels were great! it's hard to keep an autoscroller engaging but you made it work for sure. i especially liked the opportunities for bouncing off of cannon fire in the second level.
Just finished making a level. Just messing around with underground stuff.
I loved the secret wizard house. great aesthetics, tight design.
i couldn't get past the brick wall in the boss rush level (where there's a spike riding a boo and fire is shooting through the wall). how do you get past that part?
Shilling in every single thread I come across because I'm a jew.
>A Bird's Adventure!
My very first Amiibo costume level, this one using the newest event course costume.
Thanks again for the comments Devann, bookmarked.
Did you see my reply to your comment on 3-4? Because Yoshi is not required at all and I rarely used him when testing because he makes the lift section harder.
playing through your levels, on 1-3 now. i love to see a nice campaign like this instead of the usual WHY, THOUGH? level design of 100 mario challenge. i love playing as birdo, too. dat up animation. i found a couple of 1-ups casually; i'm gonna go back and try to find them all.
nice work, anon! i'm gonna follow you to keep up on your levels!
Daisy confirmed fellas
Also play my levels:
MY FAVORITE MEME GONE IN A FLASH
These threads need people that play and give feedback. I'm busy at the moment so I can't do it like I usually do, and Keith has been absent for a surprisingly long time so he's out too. I wonder what happened to him.
Posting this once more:
Green Shrooms in the Caverns
I don't have quite a spark right now, so I don't know exactly when my next levels could come. I already have some works in progress but I don't know what to do with them right now.
