That's not my fault you don't like games what I like. Genesis got pretty good arcade games, Sega was always good with them. I like both SNES and Genesis, so I can never say which platform was better. They're goddamn solid and will be remembered as the best 2D consoles.

2D mario > 2D sonic, for every single of their 2D games, no exceptions.

Street fighter > MK
MK was never all that good of a game to begin with, the blood and gore gimmick is fun for a while and especially as a kid you feel cool playing it.
But overall SF2 is the technically superior game for more long term fun. MK was and is not a very deep game.

I was more into playing my Sega thanks mainly to the amazing add-on that was the Sega Channel. I miss staying up all night with my buddies waiting for the new monthly games to release. Sega Channel will always have a special place in my life.

Sega genesis had internet use in 1995. Sega saturn had multiplayer that could still be theoretically hosted today. Sega dreamcast came with a built in modem and had an online store and dlc and shit, along with voice chat. Sega has always been the best

Depends on the composer and genre, SNES is sample based, and the MD/Gen chip uses FM synthesis. It's not better or worse, just distinct.

The biggest difference is SNES relied much on external chips. Genesis could perform polygons, stretching, distortion, scaling on stock hardware, SNES was more limited without its chips.

When i was a kid it was Sega and Sonic and i didnt play fighting games.
