I think he did a good job on his Last of Us review.

Really makes you think about the fallacy of anthropocentricism.

Despite all the jokes surrounding him, I think he's a good reviewer. He is just one man and so I simply take them as his opinion (as every adult should) but he wants games to be fun first and foremost, so I have no problem listening to his opinion. When bethesda did their e3 presentation and got adam and morgan to be their presenters, I was grinning like an idiot the whole time because it was just so great to see them sitting together again.

Am I the only one who preferred Judgement Day to X-play? Tommy gave you the casual opinion, Victor the patrician, but they could both recognize dog shit when they saw it. The reviews were more nuanced than X-Play which was usually we liked it/hated it or meh.

His only flaw is being an English major in the game on industry.
He likes the philosophy and social implications of Bioshock Infinite's world, and thus thinks it's a good game.

The God of War thing was the only time he really set foot into SJW-territory, and he quickly stepped back and shut up so hard that nobody remembers him. It's sad.

I think Sessler had a part in making sure Chromehounds never had a follow up. There was a lull in Xbox releases one summer and he bitched about having to play it until something new came out. Xplay was in full steam and that carried weight in fanboys and the industry at the time.
