>PC 1080p and higher
Just watched 1h long leaked alpha footage from xbone, looks like a downgraded ps3 game desu family.
What are the chances that ubisoft will fuck this up ?
Rainbow Six Siege was easily the best release of last year if you can ignore minor fixable bugs and some netcode issues that they're basically fixing already (tick rate, etc)
If ubisoft can do it with RSS, theres no reason to doubt The Division and Ghost Recon Wildlands
Same company, different team.
This is Ubisoft Massive though, not Montreal
Montreal is doing Watch Dogs 2, going to be announced at E3. Supposedly its coming out this year since Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon are 2017.
Sold well. Too many people were all in because the lack of footage pre-launch. Stuck in a pre-order and too lazy to pick out, or people who don't pay enough attention to warning signs.
Division has a basically-public beta so it won't be another Destiny either.
The funny thing is it's still going to run like horse shit even though they already downgraded it to PS3 levels.
Really hyped for this game but at the same time cant trust ubisoft after meme games like watchdogs and assassin creed.
Now that the beta is coming soon cant wait to play it on PC and PS4 myself.
I didnt preodered it so hope for beta key is still strong otherwise ill buy it in on g2a for cheap.
>Siege is fairly simple in terms of scale and scope
>it still has huge amounts of issues that it really shouldn't
>thinking that their bigger more ambitious projects wont be totally fucked
AC2 was good. The person who created AC, Patrice Desilets, also left the company.
All Ubisoft has done since AC2 is to copy paste its game design for a FPS and now a game similar to GTA.
there are multiple short vids on leaked stuff on youtube
I downloaded the 1h long version for myself its from a guy called parallax those vids probably got deleted due to NDA from youtube
its pretty neat you have a nice overview
found it here is the 1 h version:
GTA5 was too clean all over. I like how much actual garbage and random clutter is all over NYC in Division. I really can't imagine GTA6 being a big leap over 5.
I would not care about Division if it wasn't full co-op. Ubisoft lucky there is a real drought on new co-op games on PC.
Some new trailer that was probably supposed to come out in a week.
Yea man xbone is very disappointing
Lets hope they fix their shit after the beta feedback somehow - we still got the refund perk in steam :o)
just a 900p screenshot from the alpha
30 fps 1080 on console ?
not sure if it will be steady 60 and 1080
They already have fucked it up. It's just Destiny as a third person cover shooter. The whole game is a pseudo-MMO with no story and focused on loot grind put in Ubisoft's standard copy and paste "open world". It even has a hub area like the Tower in Destiny filled with various vendor NPC's that serve no other purpose. Cheap ripoff.
If you removed the 1-2 minute loading times Destiny has constantly, it might be pretty bearable. Destiny also suffered from having to be on PS3/360, which is why there is a billion instanced zones on planets and you never find anyone while out on the planet.
Also its not as pseudo-mmo as Destiny. If you don't invite players into your world, you won't meet anyone else outside of the Dark Zone and the HUB. In Destiny you could just randomly see people doing shit on the planet if you were lucky. In this, if you don't invite them or do matchmaking for missions/activities, you won't find anyone in your world.
developer podcast about the game
Ubisoft seems to try hard with the RPG elements in the division hope they implement it well overall
I played the alpha, you aren't fooling me. It's shit and pales in comparison to Destiny, a game that wasn't even good yet is a masterpiece in relation to this shameless, lazy clone.
You can play the whole game single player according to Ubi, but the game is always-online.
Co-op is just co-op, you can do anything in co-op drop in drop out.
Dark Zone is kill on sight, there is not going to be any teaming up or anything with strangers
Something neat is that you don't need to call your own chopper. You can wait for other people to call in a chopper and swoop in and kill them and extract on theirs. The only thing that matters when extracting is whose loot is tied to the copter, up to a max of 4 people extracting loot.
Fun fact about The Division.
They're having a beta sometime soon, and if you preorder you get a code to enter the beta. Almost none of the beta codes being sent out work. If you try to contact their support about this issue, nothing happens.
Judging from the alpha I played, this is intentional. The game was shit and hilariously buggy. They probably don't want too many cancelled preorders.
Thats word... You keep on using it. Pic related is CA
This sounds fun
>They're having a beta sometime soon, and if you preorder you get a code to enter the beta. Almost none of the beta codes being sent out work
Damn, glad I didnt preodered it straight away. Just registered on the waiting list to try my luck.
But those keys are being sold like warm pretzels in other key stores.
>Banned from website for trying to enter invalid code
I know several people this has happened to, and if you google you'll find tons of people complaining about invalid codes.
Same thing happened to me. Preordered, got beta code, didn't work. Contacted Ubisoft, they told me to contact the seller (Amazon) for another code. Amazon told me to contact Ubisoft to fix it.
Entire thing is a joke.
Massive, they made that RTS called World in Conflict. I remember people gushing about how sexy the nukes in the game looked. Then got bought up by Ubisoft and helped with AC Revelations and Far Cry 3. The Division is their first game since WiC.
They might as well make it open beta. If they expect a even a half a million pre-orders across all systems they will need to test their always-online game servers
Watch dogs came out near the same time as the Bone and PS4, people were desperate for anything to justify their paperweights. Also normies fucking love CSI style hacking and ass creed, the game was perfect for them.
>What are the chances that ubisoft will fuck this up ?
>still having any hope Ubisoft wont fuck something up
gamers are so optimistic and forgetful
the way the shadows pop in, holy fuck
>What is the point of having melee enemies?
I can play all those games on my 360 and PC
shouldve just said Halo 5
Halo 5 and Remakes/re-releases holy shit XBoners are proud of this
>GTA5 was too clean all over
It had all kinds of props all over the place, not to mention all the thrash bins and stuff you could believably move and interact with had physics unlike many other open world games like Watch Dogs.
The game even has a giant concrete ball you can roll down from the top of a mountain and crush shit with it, even in online
Forza 6 and womb raider, but at this point your just shit posting regardless. The console is still weak, much like ps4 in terms of software, though there's at least a couple things to play.
lmaoing @ ur life if you're genuinely hyped for a game from these people
I'm not shit posting, like this guy said I can play them elsewhere
So you got Halo 5 and Forza. wow two games
(ill be playing tomb raider on pc)
I'm not saying he's wrong, however most people on this site will continue shitposting, and moving goal posts regardless of what is said. I can tell even if xbone had 20 exclusives, and listed them all, he would probably just change it to something else.
Again I'm not saying he's wrong, these current gen machines have a poor exclusive library. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
> I wouldn't consider the Witcher series RPGs
>But this shooter with numbers is
They're really good at selling shitty games though, they're masters at editing gameplay videos and controlling the narrative of game "journalists".
It will be 100% shit though, you don't even need to pay attention to it.
I play Forza Horizon 2 and Halo 5
Quantum Break in a few months :^)
WiC was fucking GOAT tier for storyline and general atmosphere of missions.
I'd say an 7/10 rts over all though if you didn't have the expansion that let you play as the Soviets.with that, 9/10
Why did they announce this game so early, on graphics they probably knew current consoles wouldn't be able to handle before said consoles even came out so all people had to compare it with was PS3 games which made this one even more unbelievable. Its funny because I think Ubi kinda learned their lesson and now only reveal games like months before they come out like Far Cry 4, and their Ass Creeds
>make part of a game at the level of detail and technology you want
>now have to finish the rest of the game, and over the development consoles can't keep up and start downgrading aspects of the visuals
Any E3 presentation is usually just the bare gameplay of the only stage completed.
Ghost Recon probably is going to have a massive change, even if that is literally the same third person shooter gameplay in a different setting.
Not him, but I can get pretty close.
I feel like the people playing in these videos are always terrible. Especially in that 1 hour video. Guy gets a nade to the face and never moves, never moves from cover to cover. It's painful to watch half the time
