Maybe it's because I played the game before it got memed into oblivion, but I actually really liked Lost Izalith. Cool name, cool architecture and probably the most moving moment in the entire game occurs there.

How the FUCK do Covenants even work ? I'm at the Belfry tower, and that dwarf asked me to join his ranks to protect the tower or something. I agreed. So now not only am I summoned once in a while on my way to the shitty Gargoyles fight, but grey spirits also invade me because apparently being in the covenant charged to protect a tower doesn't give me the right to hang out in that same fucking tower.

For each covenant you need to perform a specific task to gain tokens. I.E. sunbros summon to other worlds to help the player, get sun tokens. Turning in tokens grants you tiers (tier 1 is 25, tier 2 is 50 etc). At each tier you get rewarded with item(s). It just depends on which items you want from which covenant.

This area is impossible to even mildly enjoy on the PS3 because the framerate just fucking dies. It's "playable", though. It just sucked because I've always played Souls on the PS3, except for SotFS which I don't have yet, but all my favorite characters were on there but it was just really not fun to play like that. Made me permanently switch over to the PC, but I'll always keep my PS3 so I can return to Demon's Souls. It's worth keeping my PS3 around for (that, and ASB).
