I have a question about the Plague Knight story. Spoiler, obviously.
In the first stage, we see Black Knight telling the Magicist that Plague Knight likes her, and plans to beguile her with a potion.
Does Black Knight actually believe this? Or is he just making a Batman Gambit to try and drive Mona and Plague Knight apart?
>beat Shovel Knight for the first time
>end of credits
>Shield Knight survived and sits next to Shovel Knight by the campfire
You will never experience the kind of love Shovel Knight and Shield Knight share.
Black Knight tells the Magicist that Plague Knight likes her. Mona likes Plague, but Plague is oblivious to her feelings. Meanwhile Magicist flirts with Plague every chance she gets. Mona speaks with Black Knight to negotiate his surrender, but Black Knight tells her that Plague plans to use the ultimate potion to beguile Magicist. Hearing this, Mona is distraught, thinking that Plague had just been using her to fulfill his own desires. Desires that don't involve Mona. But actually, Plague Knight has liked Mona all along. He just couldn't work up the courage to tell her.
It is my opinion that Black Knight intended for this to happen, to create infighting among his enemies. Black Knight is a dick.
>finally getting to catch Shield Knight
>Mona misunderstands one little thing and flounces out like a bitch
>Shield Knight wakes up from umpteen years of being possessed and is INSTANTLY ready to tag team the final boss with you
yeah nah shield butt best butt
>You will never experience the kind of love Shovel Knight and Shield Knight share.
>attempt to dance at the last playable second when mona appears after killing the final final boss and you still have control of plague knight for about two seconds
>he still twiddles his thumbs
I mean Spectre Knight is open for a serious backstory, but what the fuck are they going to do with King Knight? He's already been characterized as an egotistical asshole who usurps the rightful king and turns his castle into a fortress.
And why the fuck can't they use the profits they gained to work on other expansions despite not meeting the other stretch goals? I want a fucking Polar Knight story goddammit.
>He's already been characterized as an egotistical asshole who usurps the rightful king and turns his castle into a fortress.
Well, they can either make it a repention story where ha ctually turns into a benevolent ruler or make him go around conquering everyone and turning into a literal tyrant.
If anything I'm curios for their gameplay. Plague Knight's gameplay was a serious 10/10.
Did you get yours yet?
I've already had mine for a month.
Since Baz mentions that if you defeat a knight you can claim their title, I think it'd be neat if it was revealed that Polar Knight once held the title of Shovel Knight before the current Shovel Knight took it from him.
>dev is on the phone when AGDQ2016 plagueknight run
>no one asks about this or even mentions anything
Bad habit. It's meant to be used after you already say something as a means of further explaining your point, but I'm just a moron who habitually uses it whenever for no real reason.
Just look at them armpits in the official art and tell me they didn't ask for this.
I understand now, don't worry about it anon we all have bad habits
I bought it a while ago on Steam but never played it so I couldn't get a refund, so the moment the Amiibo was announced, I emailed Yacht Club and explained my predicament, and they actually gave me a code for the Wii U version despite the fact that according to them they don't usually do that. I love it when indie devs are generous like that.
>Shovel Knight can use Plague Knight's burst jump and bounce bombs, double jump, and shovel bounce
>that one challenge where you had to shovel bounce on things after burst jumping
That shit was fucking great.
