EA got the rights to make a remake of your favorite game, how does EA fuck it up?

I think they would make season pass to get access to Invitational circuit and pro tournament circuit. You have to pay for Sebulba even if you beat Boonta Eve Classic.
It cost real money to make upgrades on your podrace.
