Tho I would like to point out one of the popular fan theories, which claims her mother to be Velka. This would explain the fluff/feathers.

Pic related is a statue which is located in the painted world (the one that spins after you hit the lever), clearly showing an older female with a young child who also looks female.

I dont think there is any proof that these statues actually are supposed to be Velka and Priscilla but its a good guess.

Also the "motherly figure with a child" theme is popular in the statues around the game, and if you pay attention you can see the child actually growing up the further ingame you get. The first statue you see is a mother holding a baby.

I killed her for her weapons in my current playthrough because I'd never used them before. Dagger is fun, probably the only dagger I'd ever consider using. Scythe is stronk but I don't think there are many enemies susceptible to bleed that won't just die before their bleed bar fills (only assdemons come to mind), plus I have to use the bloodshield and bloodbite ring for it to not kill me in 2-3 hits.

I don't do PvP, is the bleed buildup from these weapons useful against a player who isn't using bleed-resistant shit? Or will it kill them too fast?

As long as you play dark souls you aren't hollow, you're only going hollow if you give up the game, which is something Crestfallen establishes.

Regardless of what the serpents say, burning humanity reverses the hollowing.

Though really burning it is what Framp wants, as it weakens the dark and strengthens the flame.

With dex weapons you have to hit people 80 times to kill them and they are supposed to be good at counter damage and parrying/backstabs, dont expect to break your enemy's poise!

With str weapons you hit people like 3 times and they fall over dead, and they actually are good at parrying/backstabs (but not counter damage), poise break happens when you glance at your enemy with a str weapon equipped, you dont even need to swing.

There are exceptions to the rule, but Dex weapons are typically fast and focus on thrust and slash damage as well as bleed.

Spears are dex, curved swords are dex, ect.

Strength are slow weapons like maces, axes and ultra great swords, do high damage and poise damage at the cost of speed. They typically do Regular and Strike damage, the later being the least resisted by armor.

Then there is quality which consists of straightswords and halberds. these are c/c scaling weapons meaning you invest in both Dex and Strength to get the most.

Plenty of exceptions though, Like Gargoyle Axe, which is a lot like regular axes in strength and speed but scales with Dex for some reason.

I have successfully used it against invaders before oolacile. If you attack really agressively most people will panic and die in a few hits to bleed.
The self bleed is only a problem if the opponent has lots of hp or if you forget to check bleed level when attacking. All in all it is pretty much a cheat weapon against lower level invaders.
