The Gameboy:Color is a BEAST of an handheld.
It performed incredibly while having huge battery life, it also had an amazing library of games.
The handheld was so powerful that you could literally OC it to play it fast as fuck like in an emulator.
>not just installing one yourself
Stop being a bitch anon.
Played crystalis on that mother fucker. I know people say the nes version was better but i fell in love with that gbc version. It also frustrates me to no end thay i cant find the gbc version of the sound track anywhere
Oh boy, I have that black box thing that came with a game boy and a bunch of peripherals attached around here somewhere. I reemmber using both that thing AND that one plastic nonsense that you attached on top of the controls to emulate an analog stick.
I had this badboy.
Only used it during trips because it was like playing with a magnifying glass.
Who knows why they didn't. Must've had sopme reason considering the GBA didn't have one until the SP.
This thing was a fucking blessing on road trips and coming from from the grandparents house.
>turn on backseat lights during the night
>"turn that off anon, it is illegal to have these on during the night"
>found out it wasn't illegal at all, you just couldn't see shit because of it
Thanks dad, but I understand why.
It was the worst handheld Nintendo ever made in terms of ergonomic factor.
It wasn't comfy at all holding it, longer sessions could literally injure your hands.
If the GBA had BL and a bigger screen then it would had been godlike.
>it wasn't comfy at all
maybe if you had andre the giant sized hands as a kid. the SP is incredibly comfy, the buttons are just the right amount of resistance, the size is perfect, and the lighting system was perfect (if you had a 001 model).
