What's your opinion on demon negotiation in SMT /v/? Do you enjoy it of find it tedious?
Strange journey does it well because the demons always ask questions first and request items second
If you get past the questions you can be sure to give the demon everything they want, and they'll always join
Pretty much this but also fuck a lot of things about IV like how it's basically just glass cannon RNG and stuck on the 3DS and saving anywhere (which is kind of a plus because of the previously mentioned glass cannon RNG.)
I'm glad the hype train died down. When it was released you couldn't breathe a single negative word about it without people jumping down your throat.
Honestly the first thing that put a bad taste in my mouth was forcing you to buy the "limited edition"
>glass cannon RNG
Is it like that the whole game? I just started and my mc dies in 1/2 hits and it feels like there isn't much I can do for now.
Thank god it's not game over when the mc dies
I enjoy it but I can't decide if it's random on what makes them join you or not.
Sometimes there does seem to be some sort of personality test going on but on other times not.
If you think that your mc is a glass cannon then just remember that all the bullshit that the enemy's can pull on you is something you can pull on them as well.
But having said that blight is OP nerf please
I don't know how, but I almost always end up doing the right answers. There are some answers that are guaranteed fails, but there seems to be some which have good success rates.
Well yes, glass cannon RNG doesn't only apply to the MC.
I get that they were trying to go back to the GOTTA GO FAST gameplay the older SMT games had but this is a terrible way to do it. Soul Hackers is a million times better. Too bad the only version in English is on the 3DS and has a dozen game breaking bugs
>tfw got lucky and didn't come across any of those bugs
What I mean is that you can have two types of the "old man" demon, but they both require different answer for if you want to requite them.
Some will take offence when you say that you will get them to meet women, other will not.
>all the bullshit that the enemy's can pull on you is something you can pull on them as well.
I'm sorry, I'm not a boss with inflated HP, several press turns and 99% smirk rate
What's that you say boss creature? Your attacks are mostly physical and you attack the entire group? Well good heavens you should have told me earlier because now I feel bad for brining two demons that repels physical attacks
Whats the point if you can't recover during battle?
>200mp or less
This is so fucking wrong.
When it came out, at least on this board, it got shit on constantly.
There were so many nocturnefags shitting up threads by just reposting the same complaints ad nauseum. Only now are you allowed to say it is at least a pretty good game.
As for the limited edition thing, it wasn't a limited edition at all, it's the atlus tax and it exists on all their fucking games. At least this time they gave us something for it, unlike buying P4G and PQ.
Jesus christ dude the game's not even that hard. It's a cakewalk for the most part if you're not retarded. The beginning is rough because you don't have time to build up your OP skills and apps but this has to be one of the most forgiving SMT games I've ever played.
I've only played 4 but it was RNG horse shit
In several cases I actually asked the same demon the same question and it had different answers 3 times in a single battle.
not to mention
>tfw I don't even remember /v/ reaction when Soul Hackers was released here
>mfw IV and SH 3DS were released 2 years ago
>bosses HP is inflated
>bosses HP isn't inflated
which is it then you fags
There are plenty of flaws in the game but this is a pretty retarded complaint. Most of my favorite single player games are imbalanced and most RPGs in general are
