As someone who knows the game from consoles, what's even the point of trying to scare the pirates with the online feature? There are tons of games out there where you are actually missing on stuff if you can't play online, such as Dark Souls, but on Dragons Dogma the "online gameplay" is almost no existent.

Most satisfying magic, I can agree. At least in effects and to some degree even spellcasting. The "hold buttan and wait" thing may seem boring to some but it takes some strategy to pull off right. Of course you'll be bored from casting maelstrom five times in a row, so mix it up a little.

But in terms of wizard simulatoring, I've been playing morrowind with rise of house telvanni and building uvirith's legacy mods and I've been having a blast. Shame destruction magic is such a bore and spell-making is a tiny bit garbage about its cost when bought spells will always out-class custom ones while being cheaper and having a higher success rate, while just about none of your equipment will be able to hold the enchantments you want to give them.

I want a game like DD with all the impressive magic, monsters, and pawn-like party members and all the neat wizarding shit I could do in morrowind plus some more shit.

Can't wait for modders to mod in the guts armor pack within a week of release

The pre-made pawns are pretty shit, but for people who are starting the game for the first time that won't matter (since they have no idea what makes a good pawn) and people who have already played the game can get by fine with shitty pawns or do a solo build. Riftstones are gonna be filled with awful player-made pawns from people who have no idea what they're doing, anyway.

No, they use your CPUs processing power to do calculations which generates bitcoins.
It's very easy to spot, since performance will be low and you'll have some random app on your Task Manager using up all your CPU.
