Halo 4 is my favourite Halo game as I loved the plot and enjoyed the characterization, do I have bad taste because of this?
Halo 5: Guardians was enjoyable to me anytime Master Chief was on-screen or there was plot development beyond fucking Locke saying; DURR HURR, gUARDIANS?
I very much enjoyed the shit out of deeper characterization of characters and plot, though I admit its no Shakespeare, but for a Shooter, the attention to lore, characters and plot was pretty good and something I liked.
Now I also had fun with the first 3 Halo games, but I for me there was something special about Halo 4. Now may be a retarted faggot, but does anyone agree with me, even a bit?
Did anyone else love the shit out of the trench run at the end of Halo 4?
Halo 4 and 5 are crimes against humanity and completely destroyed the legacy Bungie created.
But what does it mean that I genuinely enjoyed and had fun with Halo 4?
And also, really asking, not trying to be an asshole but where were the QTEs? I actually forget.
I didn't think it was bad, I didn't think it was good either. It didn't have good enough multiplayer for me to fall back on though so that's why I never liked it.
Halo 5, while the story is criminally short has an interesting plot. The multiplayer is very good.
The thing with Halo though, I don't think Bungie really intended for the characters to have very much depth, and used the campaign to reel you in for the multiplayer. However they did make fun campaigns and did come up with some good story as Halo 2 (even cut) and 3 came out. 343i began an uphill battle when they tried to add depth to the halo universe through the campaign, and they're not really winning anybody over. Multiplayer and multiplayer only is whats saving Halo right now.

Yes. The only thing Halo 4 did right was Cortana's new body.
a lot of the people i have talked to said halo 4 singleplayer was supposed to be good.
ive never played a halo singleplayer, but i can easily say that halo 4 multiplayer was the worst out of all of them. that was the only game out of the like 30 i bought for my 360 that i had buyers remorse
>Halo 5...has an interesting plot
Since the general consensus is that Halo 4 and Halo 5 suck balls, can we just have a Locke hate thread?
While I thought it was interesting I didn't think it was executed very well, interesting none the less.
>eliminate new Covenent leader Jul'Mdama
>Civil war on Sanghelios (elite home world)
>save and then help the Arbiter win the battle for control of the planet
>Chief goes rogue after receiving a message from cortana
>Tracks her down to genesis
>Cortanas on a crusade to enslave every sentient being by getting AI's to swear allegiance to her
So much potential but they didn't do it very well, I still found the story interesting.
