>>323373934 Stress is a horrible thing. The goal was to make some AI for a turn-based strategy game where you only control a single unit, they started you out by giving you an AI which picked a random move every turn.
Two hours in, I had an AI which made random moves except when it was one spot away from a base, in which case the top priority was to capture the base and then stop moving entirely. My hope was that we would have a path-finding algorithm to seek out bases by the end of the day.
Except when we fought against the other teams 8 hours in, I still had nothing more than my first version, with an added check for my current amount of HP before attacking a base. We lost like 1 hour because someone flipped the x and y coordinates at some point and out character acted all crazy, and there were way too many bugs in the path finding to fix in time with the amount of stress we had...
Barely any better than pure randomness in the end. Still, it was fun. >>323374226 thanks man

There's only one fire clown car at the very start of the level as far as I know and as long as the Thwomp doesn't take control of it it's the only way to get powerups... Might as well start over.

Though I gotta say, this level would really benefit from a winter theme, as it stands the ice blocks don't really mesh all that well with the background visually. I tried to make it "challenging but not frustratingly so" tier but I dunno if I made it too hard after all or if people just aren't very good. Also I didn't realize whatever portion of the level your screen is on when you upload gets chosen for the picture so I kinda spoiled an area but whatever.
Feels free to play the other level as well but it's NSMB because I wanted to make wall jumping which I then did not end up using much at all but at least I got the obligatory NSMB out of my system so I can focus on the good styles in the future.

It's really weird that with all the things you can shake to change the color/look/function they haven't added that feature to pipes. You'd think blue, red and yellow pipes would have been like the first thing they would have added.

There are four hidden treasures (coin pipes) in the stage, can you find them all and collect the secret riches? The boss of this level is Hard Head; make sure he falls into the bottomless pit to defeat him! Second level coming in the next couple of days when I have time to finish it!
