Sonic has been alive much longer and freedom planet has had one solid game. There's another game coming out for the series but no one knows if it'll be good or bad since the gameplay's planned to be completely different.

Freedom Planet is honestly the best "Sonic game" I've ever played.

Even the story has a little Saturday morning cartoon charm to it. It's comparable to the Sonic Adventure games in terms of story.

Freedom Planet isn't a series (yet), either way I would go with ''Classic'' Sonic.

Don't get me wrong Freedom Planets mix of Sonic/Gunstar Heroes/Astro Boy Omega Factor is fucking great, but I still think that Sonic 3 and Knuckles is better.
