I only watch their ExtraHistory, though I don't trust most of their specifics. They're generally correct with most of their broad events/topics, and I'm happy they have a "lies" segment to correct any mistakes they made during production.

Extra History is great, but their game stuff is like 50% bullshit, 25% obvious and 25% well-reasoned, novel ideas. One of them likes Destiny too much too.

People take them seriously because they have academic credentials but they are wrong about so many things.
