I think it's also the reason that these threads don't attract that many shitposters.

While I do want this series to get more popular so that they keep making them, I sometimes worry about what will happen to the community if they ever do. We all saw what happened to the Souls community over time.

Fortunately Yakuza games are single player, so even a shit community can't really ruin them. But I doubt we would ever be able to discuss them on here again if they became too popular.

What RGG game did you guys think had the hardest "ultimate skill" challenge? I'm doing the one in ishin right now and it's not so bad.

I remember those Mack chases in 3 where rage inducing and the ultimate version of the boat chase in 4 was pretty obnoxious too. I think 3 was harder over all though.

The boat was probably more annoying as a single challenge, but I think the combat challenges in 3 were overall more frustrating because of the more aggressive ai and their constant blocking, you also had to do more than one mack chase which sucked.

Ishin is surprisingly easy so far, though it looks like I have to fight 8 opponents with no healing for the final challenge (including the final boss).

Well if they are bringing 0 here the most logical choice is bringing Kiwami as well since it's a remake of the 1st game

You guys makes some good points. I think I'll just have to wait and see how hyped I'm feeling when the youtube footage of Kiwami gameplay starts going up and when those people that import day one start giving their opinions of how much they improved it from Y1.

It does seem like it could potentially be a long wait though, so more than likely I'll just cave in and import after a few months.
