What tricked you into buying one?
I wasn't tricked. None of the games I own on ps4 are on pc. Some of them are on ps3, some vita, and the rest exclusive. Some of them could be ported eventually, but why would I wait 2-4 years for something I can't predict when I can play the games now instead?
The only ones I own that are also on ps3 are yakuza ishin and yakuza 0. By your logic, you shouldn't buy a pc to play console ports either. I got them on ps4 because they're single player games that don't require ps+ and run at 1080/60. When you buy a pc port of a console game, that's generally what people claim as their reason; better performance.
A strong social media drive... (Around the time XO was announced, and "Oh, no, Microsoft is going to destroy our games!!!")
Yeah, I succumbed and became a shill, but I paid for my mistakes. At least there is Persona 5, although I could've gotten that on my PS3... So now I'm here hoping that Kingdom Hearts releases sometime soon and that doesn't get announced for PC...
I got more than enough japanese games out of it, and more coming soon. Are you poor or something?
anon, they're literally all VNs at this point. There aren't any Japanese games left.
Except I do, they're all VN nonsense that panders to only the biggest weebs and otakus.
Believe it or not, there are people who can enjoy japanese games without being weebs, it's just unfortunate that Japanese devs are so trapped in their otaku paradise to make games worth playing anymore.
I wanted to play DaS2 Scholar of the first sin and had no gamepad for my PC around so I just bought a PS4 because I wanted one anways. The only reason to not buy one is being poor which I am simply not unlike most people on /v/.
>PS4 is the tournament standard for SFV and GGXrd.
well they sponsor the events
that doesn't mean they outperform PCs.
>Xbox one is now a shitty cheap PC.
so is PS4
in the literal or strict sense: She failed to grasp the metaphor and interpreted the poem literally.
What does the word mean literally?
in a literal manner; word for word:
to translate literally.
actually; without exaggeration or inaccuracy:
The city was literally destroyed.
in effect; in substance; very nearly; virtually:
I literally died when she walked out on stage in that costume.
According to definition 4, I do :^)
It's pretty lame to make shit up to criticize PC about. If your computer is crashing, then clearly you don't know anything about your PC. Lrn2/PC or stick with the console jew.
>I'm getting my ps4 for (game coming out in 2017)
Why buy a console two years or one year before a game you want comes out? What's the point in doing that? I don't understand this logic. What will you be playing until then?
You can't even list 5 legitimately good Japanese games that came out in 2015. There is only one good Japanese game in 2015:
Everything else is complete nonsense and awful.
Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon
Dungeon Travelers 2
Trails of Cold Steel
What do I win
>trails of cold steel
I forgot Super Mystery Dungeon was Japanese, so I was wrong there. Also, even though I didn't say you couldn't, reusing bloodborne? Really?
>I can't do it, it can't be done, anon-kun is so right and handsome and I should submit my anus to him so he can punish me
that's essentially what you just said.
Whatever helps you feel better about yourself anon
Oh, I'm sorry anon, would you have preferred:
Those games are fucking shit, take your awful taste and get the fuck out of here
My bad, I should have said that to begin with, I was hoping you would be capable of reading subtext, but clearly you can't.
Why are they shit anon?
Because I know for a fact you haven't played them.
>Parents got me a PS4 this christmas
>1TB bundled with Battlefront, Uncharted, and i got Bloodborne GOTY as well.
>Last weekend Found RB4 Band in a box for £70 at an auction.
I dunno why people think that it has no Gaem.
>Westerncucks trying to talk shit
>he actually believes that the west step the same quality as japs
>he will buy the next bethesda or ubishit
>he dismisses games with the slightest hint of anime influence
>he will never enjoy video games again
>he didn't buy a PS4
>anyone ever saying anything more than "it's shit" on /v/
Honestly it's not worth it. Splatoon is just a pissawful game that's made for literal children. Dungeon Travelers is a VN that the devs forgot wanted to be a game so they threw in a shitty gameplay clone of legends of grimrock. Trails of cold steel is a generic RPG for generic people who can't handle excitement or anything interesting in their life. It is completely generic in every single way.
But anon, I like anime
Anime in video games is fucking cancer though, since they are literally only done to get sales from retards like you who instantly buy any piece of shit game that has any anime at all on it (likely because you're brand new to anime and are desperate to prove that you like anime to everyone).
You didn't even get a comprehension for those games' mechanics. The splatoon ones is accurate though
Face it, you're just a westaboo that's probably underaged, and doesnt know about the games he talks about
I wasn't aware opinions could be correct or incorrect. Though, I thought my opinions were pretty correct assessments of the games as a whole.
Sorry you can't handle someone telling you that your favorite generic games are shit.
Because it's not worth it. I gave you my generalized opinion. If I wanted to do an in-depth analysis on why those games were shit, I wouldn't be posting on fucking 4chan of all places.
That's like saying that games are only dark and gritty to appeal to kids who want to feel edgy.
I'm sure it happens, but it isnt like every dark game is shitty edge lord pandering.
I forgot, Digimon Cyber Sleuth. It will be and awful game as we all know but I would pay nearly any price just to be able to have a team consisting of Wizardmon, Terriermon and either Gatomon or Gabumon.
It's actually kind of funny how 4chan works. If I were to put the effort into posting the exact reasons all those games are shit, you'd just respond with either "lol didn't read" or you'd just not read it at all and say that everything I said was wrong. Thus, it's not worth the effort ever. You have a good day, anon-kun.
Obviously an assessment of every single game with anime artstyles would reveal several good games. That's not the point though, since a majority of anime games are not good. They're fucking awful shit that has the bare minimum effort put in so that way they make more profit. Face it, the Japanese know about weebs and they're going to continually take advantage of the fact that you can't handle yourself and behave like a rational human being. They're going to take advantage of the fact that anime on the cover = a guaranteed sale for people like you.
I like anime, and just as that's a generalized statement of anime as a whole (seeing as it's impossible for me to see every one and even more impossible for me to like every single one), I hate anime video games.
Don't act like it's just the Japanese that do this. Call of duty, grand theft auto, halo, these games are all made to appeal to certain kinds of people.
Fuck, even games that are generally considered to be good are manipulating the fuck out of the masses.
Although when I got my PS4, I got it bundled with that, MKX and a few other games for far less than a stand alone console, so I was pretty happy with my purchase.
I play video games for the few good ones. I guess I'm just a massive hypocrite. Funny what you learn about yourself sometimes. Oh well, still hate anime video games and I refuse to change my stance on it.
Of course it's not just the Japanese. I just find it to be a more heinous crime to abuse a fanbase like weebs since so many are desperate to prove themselves as "having good tastes".
You're on an enthusiast board, people care. If you went to talk with some random fag that sometimes play games, yes he won't give a damn that he'll play the shittier version.
>You PC users
Kill yourself, I have plenty of consoles, but I'm perfectly aware that they're complete shit and only thrive on some of the exclusives I like.
Sony cucks defending there shitty system lol
Not him but im in same boat, edf good framerate edition, until dawn, bloodborne, yakuza ishin and zero, and infamous second son
All those basically justified my purchase especially with alot of things over the horizon im looking foreword to this year like nier, horizon, rachet and clank, gravity fucking rush 2 finally, ni oh, and quite a few others. Glad i own a ps4, as well as everything but a xbone, that said ill probably get an xbone this year
Ehhh trails never did it for me. They feel too padded out especially in the 2nd game where half the game was
"Hey we need to stop those guys, but lets go wander over here for clues"
Pc is getting jipped on all the good jrpgs. Last remnant was decent, zestiria is awful and i feel bad that alot of people started the series with it, ff is lol. Hopefully better stuff goes on there, resonance of fate would be a nice addition
Does the PS4 really need games though?
>implying Sonyggers are not vocal minority in /v/
I was going to buy one eventually anyway but the thing that made me pull the trigger was the Nathan Drake Collection and the price drop. I like Uncharted games and at that time I actually believed Battlefront and Fallout 4 were going to be good. That was dumb considering the price dropped another 50 bucks like a month later.
Oh well. There's a lot of good games coming out this year and I'm not poor so it is what it is.
Well, when your only other options are a dead console
which I already own, a dudebro machine, and a platform that takes 7 years to get a nip game that isn't trash like Neptunia or Tales, it doesn't seem too bad.
Good one, companion. Here's a (You) on the house.
