Full disclosure, I just listen to the Co-Optional podcast and don't watch the streams themselves that often. Point is YMMV.

But for me these streamers are talk radio. I want to hear the games industry being discussed and assessed. Places like Kotaku and what have you don't really do that. TB seems to have a lock on things like few others that I've seen.

Here, it's finally fucking done. I forgot to put in Sonic 2 in "childhood defining" but this is already cramped enough. Sorry for fitting in so much shit, but like I mentioned, I've played so many games that only picking one alone wouldn't have done justice, and there's plenty more outside of the ones in this picture that I like (including non-nintendo stuff obviously)

Reason there's so much nintendoshit is because I barely explored anything outside of that since we'd only ever get Nintendo consoles (not counting PC obviously, if it weren't for that I would've barely played any of the GTA games and would've never played Battlefront 1), and I only got to play non-Nintendo and non-PC games at my relatives' or cousins' houses.

Being an oldfag sucks. I've become cynical to the point where every single MSM report or news article is either an ad or double speak. Journalists write articles about how good we have it in spite of how obviously bad things are and prove their points using skewed or poorly researched data and the vidya industry is no different. Mainstream culture has always posse me off, but now I'm becoming full /pol/ when I see what is being shoved down people's throats. Who should we even be mad at? The ones pushing the "drugs" or the masses stupid enough to take them?
