Seriously? They couldn't program the fence to follow ground? How is this acceptable in any way.
>bothering with that autistic building shit when you can be out exploring the wasteland
This is the company that's literally too lazy to change the same bulk engine code that's been in use since the late 1990s.
Like, imagine if Valve made HL3 in GoldSRC with updated visuals. That's how lazy Bethesda are.
its acceptable because it was an obvious marketing ploy rather than an actual fun game mechanic. was a way to tie into the minecraft kiddies as well as games like RUST and all those survival games.
remember that bethesda never chooses what makes the best game, remember that.
>underage fuckhead who doesn't know how tech works
Source was extended from the Half-Life engine, which was originally extended from the Quake-engine. That's how lazy Valve is.
The fact that they didn't implement an overview mode to make it easier to manage the whole look of your base just showed how little they gave a fuck about it, they just threw it in because games like Rust and other Early Access garbage have it the same exact way.
> tfw my Kawloon City at Starlight Drive will never be complete because the AI is too retarded to function in such a complex area.
I have literally spent 80 hours building this fucking city state and its worthless.
I played the game for 120 hours and the only stuff I ever built was the starting quest (5 beds, some food etc). at least make scrapping and building in free roam or something. walking around placing shit? are you fucking kidding me
I'm playing on PC and have been wanting to start a new game. So I did. However, whenever I get released from the cryo pod I stand still and breathe heavily. I can still open the pause menu but that's it. I can't play the fucking game. Any ideas on how I can fix this unexcusable glitch?
Yes. I saved right before entering the cryo pod. I've reloaded it 5 times and it does the same thing every fucking time.
You can't be serious? How does their blatant lack of quality (it's their job, they get paid for it, this wasn't free) mean that I have to do something better?
Unless this is bait. Then hook line and sinker, anon. ya got me.
It would have been better just letting you use resources to construct pre-made structures; the engine really isn't suited to this pseudo-Minecraft autism. That way they could have added in more diverse architecture, actual characters, story elements and quests to the settlements as they develop.
Of course that sounds like something an RPG would do, and this is Bethesda we're talking about.
Nah m8, if you can still access the menu save there, after you get out of the pod, and then instantly reload. Shit kept happening to me as soon as I would leave the vault. Character would just stand there with nothing working.
