Dog Suit
Whereas the Cat Suit allowed one to climb up walls, dive pounce, and swat, the Dog Suit allows one to dig into the ground to both hide underground and be invulnerable momentarily and retrieve any buried items, receive a great jump boost at max running speed, and catch harmful projectiles.

You can curl up into a spiny ball, which allows you to roll around and up vertical walls. You deal damage on contact. The item is a chestnut.

It could be pretty cool if the next 2D Mario gave you a constructor suit like the SMM one.
You could then rebuild pieces of the levels to find secret exits and other stuff.
